You Can Not Cosplay Autism

By Kim Rossi IMG_8505

In 2023, I found this meme on social media. Can anyone explain the deliberate confluence of autism spectrum disorder and the TQ+ social construct that emerged in 2020. We've never been known for keeping quiet at Age of Autism. We rabble. We rouse.

Here's the disclaimer.

I personally know or have known 3 trans individuals. Yadda, yadda, right? No, I won't say "Some are my friends." They are people who crossed my path. One is a trans male, just starting to transition. The born daughter of a friend. The second is a trans woman, whom I knew as a sweet natured, kind sales clerk at a natural food store some 20 years ago. He went missing for months. When I saw him again, he was she. I called him by his male name and told him how happy I was to see him again. He gently corrected me, "My name is Jasmine." And so I reintroduced myself to Jasmine. She left smiling. Third, a trans male who worked with my daughters for many years. Someone casually mentioned, "Oh yeah, he's trans" a few years ago and I was surprised. I had no idea. Nor did I have any objection. Trans people are people.

My question is how and WHY did autism become intertwined with trans so quickly. The dilution of autism over many years, starting with neuro-diversity back in the 2000s has worked against those fully, diagnostically and staunchly ON the spectrum. My kids. Maybe your kids. If you recall the outrage when Secretary Kennedy discussed the harsh reality of profound autism, you know that even those organizations and people tasked with protecting and helping autistics turned away from them in another round of fauxrage.

You can not cosplay autism.

Thanks for this post, Kim. I don't think I've seen anyone else address this topic. (Of course, I certainly don't catch every article, blog, etc.!) As the single mom of an autistic son, I find trans-autistic so demeaning and damaging that I can't find the words to express my feelings. I tend to believe that someone encountered “trans-autistic” (as a term referring to those trying to understand how being autistic influences their gender identify) and chose to twist it into a term to denigrate trans and/or autistic people. These individuals may be making a misguided horrid joke, engaging in nasty cyberbullying, or purposefully spreading divisive concepts to advance their agenda.

People "cosplay" autism all the time! Look on TikTok, and all the other "social media" platforms!
Sure, I know what you mean when you say "you can't cosplay autism", Kim. And I agree.
But that doesn't stop the autism cosplayers from doing exactly that.
Same with the whole "trans" thing....
Sure, there are sincere "true believers", but there are also scammers, fakes, frauds, and victims of deliberate propaganda brainwashing....and weak-minded people who lack critical thinking skills, and who just want to jump on the band wagon with the latest cool thing fad....
BTW, I have worked with or known, several so-called "trans" people....
All is NOT as it seems, in the "LGBTQIA+" crowd....
On a related note, when you think about it, aren't we ALL BOTH "neurodivergent" AND "neurotypical"?....There's NO objective test, is there?....

When did trans become intertwined with autism?

Our society seems to be confused about brain injuries vs unique personalities which includes sexual orientation. This is done by using unique words to replace more generally well understood words. General understood words would be damage to the hypothalamus part of the brain that effects everything from stomach to sex hormones. To celebrate that would mean that society as a whole is insane.

Society is not insane, but we all have been confused because our leaders wants us confused.

Our leaders have been very busy covering their butts, and using words like acceptance, and celebrating it. We all know that our leaders especially our medical leaders care so much and always has.. Irony statement.

Why look how long they lovingly allowed the ice pick treatment on so many!

RFKennedy Jr had an aunt that probably had a mild brain injury for a small pox vaccine, the medical leaders lovingly gave her the ice pick treatment so she would be more docile. That allowed care givers to be able to peacefully feed them and change their diapers. That was a real caring thing to do.

And the docile people are still useful. After all, with out them what would Stanley Plotkin of used as guinea pigs to inflame more brains, making new products that were stealth brain inflamers to confuse society.

So the real question is: Is our leaders sitting around in meetings on how to get rid of RFKennedy Jr. by divide and conquer tactics; doing this because they too are suffering from some type of brain injury or are they just really spiritually speaking sinful and evil?
