A Day Late and a Million Thanks
I popped up a quick post yesterday to say, "Happy Father's Day," but took it down to let Cathy have the Sunday spotlight. And when you have a child of any age with autism, every day is Father's Day. Just as it is for Moms. The work doesn't end. Nor the worry.
So, if you provide, protect, participate, plan, produce and sometimes just plain poop out, we get it. Families share the load differently. Worries vary depending on where the individual falls on the spectrum. But the love, oh yes, the love, that's what drives us to keep on keeping on, isn't it?
Good morning to all! So true it is the love that keeps us going. Also, it keeps us advocating for our kids, now physically turning adults. I would also say it is the love that keeps us vigilant on mandates, laws that would infringe on our medical rights. Great points you made. Blessings to all!
