Painful to see AOA publish a gossip calling Bobby Kennedy a "turncoat traitor". Just awful.
No, he did not miss any opportunity. He did what he needed to do to get the job and it turns out after all these years of him insisting that he is not anti-vaccine, that it was a blessing that he said that because if he didn't, he would not have been able to say it under oath.

I usually agree with Laura, but this really wasn't the time to educate. It was the time to be politically savvy in the face of vicious people who were not going to listen, who were determined and had the power to thwart his nomination. If he went in those hearings sounding like me or Laura, he would have been tossed out immediately. It was not a fair or honest hearing. He was up against severely misinformed and corrupt politicians. He did a great job navigating a very difficult challenge and we should all be grateful for all he's done instead of criticizing him.

As for educating, he has written several in depth, extensively referenced books that have been read by many of the Republican senators at those hearings (HE already educated them) and the general public.

He has spent millions of his own dollars fighting the evil elements in the democrat party as they attacked his candidacy by waging relentless lawfare. And he has been shamefully attacked by members of his own extended family in a disgusting public spectacle. He was gracious and stood strong despite those malicious, politically motivated betrayals.

Now we need to continue our advocacy and be supportive of his efforts and hope and pray that he is able to do what needs to be done. If someone has a different opinion, fine, but it is not right to attack the one person who worked so hard to get inside to effect change. It wasn't easy for him to accomplish and that alone is a huge victory. It is wrong to criticize him for what he could or should have said. The pressure was immense, but I don't think that the pressure undermined his performance. I think he did and said exactly what was needed during that adversarial interrogation.

Largely because of the broad reach, leadership and legal action of CHD and ICAN, vaccination is now a global issue the narrative of which is no longer controlled by WHO, GAVI, U.S. agencies and legacy media.

Young parents are no longer vaccinating without asking questions. Many more than ever before are not vaccinating at all. We have come a long way and we have longer to go.

Let's not attack the people who are trying hard to bring needed change because their methods do not match ours. I would not have passed through that nomination process and Laura wouldn't have either. I'm thankful that Bobby Kennedy did and I'm praying for his success.

I did not understand that at all, that you wanted to use a strategy of using lesser knows to break the ice and educate; before putting forth Kennedy.

I missed that really bad. I am sorry. I did listen to all, and missed that point all together. I am sorry.

Larua never missed one point that has been discovered over the past 30 years. She has an fantastic memory, she brought all the important information, and points in all this horrible tragedy in a matter of minutes ! She is well spoken, and darn she is still young, and a pretty woman.

She is however too hard on RFKennedy Jr.

No I don't agree that they should have had some one whose name was less known, thus sneaking him in. Is that what she meant? IF someone can be sneaked in, would they really have the passion, and dedication to go after the vaccine manufacturers while struggling with the naive population that still believes Salk should be sainted?

He had built a huge following and he still barely got in.

That said, I do have to admit that I am more than wore out and tired to hear interviews of people say we will just have to see where the science goes on all of this. Like parents that have seen the injuries happened, lived with the injuries, tried to fix the injuries does not even matter. We are mistaken to believe our lying eyes. (Dan Olamsted said that one).

Mark Blaxill said 10 years ago that the science has already proven vaccines causes autism. The science is there. It has been proven already. It is now political.

I do see Laurel's frustration.
Never the less Kennedy Jr has prayed to God to put him in a position to make a difference, I know I have prayed hard, and I think it was answered 8 years ago in the fall of 2016 when the Holy Spirit came to me in my garden. But that was yet another 8 years of vaccinating our children. OH: I so see the frustration.
