Robert Kennedy Jr. had a big day yesterday. He was on Elon Musk's Twitter Spaces:
Twitter owner Elon Musk has proposed hosting Twitter Spaces interviews with political candidates of all stripes, reflecting the billionaire’s supposed commitment to ideological neutrality and to promoting Twitter as a true “public square.” So far, however, Musk appears to be more interested in platforming candidates that align with his own views rather than those who might challenge them. Source a grumpy foot stamping CNN
When I tuned in, there were 61,000 listeners.
And RFK Jr. was featured in the Michael Smerconish daily poll. And was part of a Town Hall live interview during the 3rd hour of his program.
If you aren't familiar with Smerconish, he's on Sirius POTUS channel 124 every weekday from 9am - noon and CNN on Saturday mornings. I've been listening to him since I lived in his hometown of Doylestown, Pennsylvania almost 30 years ago. His theme song is "Stuck in the middle with you." Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right!
Refreshingly Independent Politics
Smerconish.com exists as a unique home base for non-ideological thinking. Here, independent viewpoints not tethered to partisan perspective are welcomed and showcased. That doesn’t mean we ignore the opinions of the Left and Right, but rather, we offer them as part of a balanced presentation. The need for such a platform in an age of polarization is obvious. Never before have we had so much choice in where we get our news and information but so few take advantage of their access to diverse perspectives. This is your ticket out of a media silo.

We have looked at every Presidential candidate since 2008 through the lens of "who will do something, anything for people with autism and their families." For us. We endorse NO ONE. We know our readers hail from all corners of the political spectrum. Kennedy presents a quandary. He has been part of our community for many years. I first saw him take on Dr. Paul Offit's work at Autism One. He launched Children's Health Defense. And has written numerous books on topics near and dear to our hearts. Still - we are not endorsing him. We'll present each candidate. How about the past? President Donald Trump (R) promised to "drain the swamp" and make Robert Kennedy head of a vaccination safety committee. That never happened. We ended up with Operation Warp Speed and the Covid vaccine, with all of its non-mandate mandates under President Biden (D.) Do we look at the party or the content of the candidates' character?
The poll results about RFK Jr as of 2:30pm yesterday were as follows: Chime in with your thoughts. You don't have to hold back. Be civil of course.
The War On Ivermectin
Dr. Pierre Kory
Ivermectin is a dirty word in the media. It doesn’t work. It’s a deadly horse dewormer. Prescribe or promote it and you’ll be called a right-wing quack, be banned from social media, or lose your license to practice medicine. And yet, entire countries wiped out the virus with it, and more than ninety-five studies now show it to be unequivocally effective in preventing and treating Covid-19. If it didn’t work, why was there a coordinated global campaign to cancel it? What’s the truth about this decades-old, Nobel Prize-winning medication? The War on Ivermectin is the personal and professional narrative of Dr. Pierre Kory and his crusade to recommend a safe, inexpensive, generic medicine as the key to ending the pandemic.

By Dick Russell
An epic biography filled with drama, conflict, and surmounted challenges.
The Real RFK Jr. is an intimate biographical portrait examining the controversial activist's journey from anguish and addiction to becoming the country's leading environmental champion fighting government corruption, corporate greed, and a captured media. Written by his longtime colleague Dick Russell, the biography also exposes the misconceptions and explains the rationale behind Kennedy's campaign to protect public health.
Provided exclusive source material, including access to Kennedy’s unpublished writings and personal journals, the author conducted dozens of interviews with him as well as numerous friends and associates. Russell delves into everything from Kennedy’s sometimes death-defying river rafting adventures to his pioneering legal cases against polluters such as Smithfield Foods and Monsanto, while founding the world’s largest water protection group. The Real RFK Jr. also examines Kennedy’s pursuit of the truth about the assassinations of his father and uncle, the wrongful murder conviction of his cousin, and the false narratives around the COVID-19 pandemic.
