Moving The Goal Line to Soothe Buyer’s Remorse
I saw a Tweet yesterday from a doctor who was complaining about how poorly she felt after treating people with COVID. After I wiped a tear from my eye, I thought about what she was really saying, and then looked her up. Dr. Claudia William is the founder of La Vie MD, a CONCIERGE medical practice in Florida that also sells upscale clothing, home decor, lifestyle thingies and more. Concierge is a fancy term for CASH ONLY, FEE FOR SERVICE, NO INSURANCE, and is often a choice for wealthy, older patients for whom Medicare is a hassle. Dr. William happens to be in West Palm Beach, Florida. Dr. Williams indicates she has a breakthrough infection, hours after treating more than 60 patients with COVID.
Why Pay a $35-75 co-pay at an urgent care, & wait over an 1 hour to be seen for 10 minutes?
At La Vie MD pay $125 with no wait times & see the SAME doctor every time for an hour, in person or online.
At La Vie MD We Are All About Easy, Fast & Convenient Care
If she saw 60+ patients at her practice, she made at least $7,500 based on the $125 appointment fee. Not sure how she could see that many patients in 2 days, but we’ll take her word for it. That should buy her a fair amount of tissues, but it won't buy her empathy for her cash carrying patients, or understanding that the vaccine SHE TOOK for Covid is a FAILURE. By her photos, she’s part of the TikTok Prom King and Queen era of medicine, where looks sell.
Very entertaining to watch Fauci tap dance around the "gain of function" definition. When he starts to talk, they should really have music playing to help him with his tempo. Let's put a microscope on the EXACT wording of how he manipulated the funding, but completely ignore the illegal and incredibly unethical research he was funding. How is he still working in the White House? Bully for Rand Paul.

Hi All,
Having a look at what I am guessing ? is her twitter account, then she, or a similar physician, is seeing a lot of covid infections in fully vaccinated people, and she is very upset that Biden is lying about this.
She is definitely pro vaccine, but also pro truth in terms of vaccinated people getting severe infections.
Nowadays, anyone who is willing to try to tell an unpopular truth gets some respect from me. Also, anyone treating the sick as well as they can is doing something good. Sometimes more information gives a broader picture of someone than a snapshot opinion?
She also seems to think the delta virus is producing false negatives; that people with severe breathing issues are testing negative for covid?
It would be interesting if she let us know whether this shortness of breath and severe illness with a negative covid test is only occuring in vaccinated people..

and how many of her COVID patients were also double "vaccinated?"

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Ryan would know what the problems should be, since he and Baric made it.

Seems like the MD type that debated whether to be a doctor or work on Wall Street.

N.C. Chapel Hill is where Fauci originally funded gain of function research on corona virus. I guess they ARE the experts!

Did she send her patients home with an effective HCL or Ivermectin protocol kit or did she just tell them to isolate at home until they turn blue, and then go to the emergency room? She must have been using a rapid swab test if she were seeing all those patients in such a short time. I imagine she would have the means to do a test on herself. Her use of the term "breakthrough" is a dead giveaway.

If she doesn't get sick enough to go to the hospital, she'll have a very hard time finding anyone to give her a test.
https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/covid-19/health-departments/breakthrough-cases.html
"As of May 1, 2021, CDC transitioned from monitoring all reported vaccine breakthrough cases to focus on identifying and investigating only hospitalized or fatal cases due to any cause."
Probably a really stupid call, unless the only goal is to get people to line up for shots, on demand, forever.

"Although hospitalization and death are among the most serious consequences of a coronavirus infection—and reasonable priorities for a public-health system with limited resources—the agency’s decision may have been premature, experts told me. Most of the world remains unvaccinated, and will for a while yet; our knowledge of SARS-CoV-2 and its capacity to shapeshift is still growing by the day. One of the best hopes for staying ahead of the pathogen is to watch it closely, in its many iterations, across a diverse set of hosts. Stopping a small fire from spreading is far easier than erasing the damage a conflagration has left—but we’re still figuring out how many stray sparks we’ll need to track.
"This early in our relationship with SARS-CoV-2, the perks of testing for breakthrough cases are clear [...]
"If a variant were to consistently pop up among the vaccinated, researchers would need to understand why. A new version of the virus might be more efficient at infecting people, or have a new way of eluding the immune system. To tease out those possibilities, researchers need data, the more comprehensive, the better. 'Asymptomatic, mild symptoms, hospitalized, passed away—all that information is important,' says Ryan McNamara, a virologist at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he and his colleagues are sequencing samples from breakthrough cases across the spectrum of severity. 'If you’re asking what variant is driving worse clinical outcomes, you need both ends of the data,' he told me."

Maybe she'll actually get tested for COVID and give an update.

Truly heartbreaking that the poor thing got sick. Should we send flowers? Come fluff her pillow?
