A From The Heart Interview with Laura Hayes on the Chronic Hope We All Share
Hello, AofA'ers. I'm feeling melancholy this week. Even a little bit alone. Although my house is rarely quiet and I'm almost never alone. This week marks the fourth anniversary of Dan Olmsted's death. I miss him. I miss his gentle voice, and steady guidance. I miss his stubborn streak. I miss his email sign off that he sent whether you praised him or called him the worst person in the world, "We always enjoy hearing from our readers." The closures, quarantines and strife of the day are taking a toll on all of us, maybe more on those of with kids on the spectrum, of any age. So when, Laura Hayes, AofA contributor and matching gift angel sent me this interview by her friend Bonnie O'Neill, author of a book called Chronic Hope, it could not have come at a better time. Hope is a good thing.
Chronic hope. Isn't that what we are all about? Pop on a headset and listen while you work. Or rest. Ha ha.....
Laura Hayes writes and speaks about the importance of healthcare/medical choice freedom and parental rights. She has been outspoken for many years regarding the urgent need to immediately: ban vaccine mandates; enact a moratorium on each and every vaccine, as not one has been tested or approved properly or ethically; repeal the 1986 Act; and fully restore individual and parental rights with regard to healthcare and medical decision making. You can read more of her work at the Age of Autism Exclusives.

@Laura
Oops! Yes. I had read both articles. Posted to wrong one!
That was a great interview. I believe the increased vaccine hesitancy we see now for Operation Warp Speed is the fruit of our labors to get the truth out. We must not let the Biden administration snuff it out. But they will surely try.

Thank you Laura ,really good interview . These are long standing, institutionalised, ubiquitous problems ,issues and difficulties with basic support service provision.
Previously called the NHS Cinderella syndrome ,as always last on the list for funding hand-outs,
especially in the learning disabilities/learning difficulties and care of our elderly support needs
sectors.

WALTER ORENSTEIN KNOWS
Fact Sheet: Activity at the Wuhan Institute of Virology
FACT SHEET
OFFICE OF THE SPOKESPERSON
JANUARY 15, 2021
"The U.S. government does not know exactly where, when, or how the COVID-19 virus—known as SARS-CoV-2—was transmitted initially to humans. We have not determined whether the outbreak began through contact with infected animals or was the result of an accident at a laboratory in Wuhan, China.
The virus could have emerged naturally from human contact with infected animals, spreading in a pattern consistent with a natural epidemic. Alternatively, a laboratory accident could resemble a natural outbreak if the initial exposure included only a few individuals and was compounded by asymptomatic infection. Scientists in China have researched animal-derived coronaviruses under conditions that increased the risk for accidental and potentially unwitting exposure.
The CCP’s deadly obsession with secrecy and control comes at the expense of public health in China and around the world. The previously undisclosed information in this fact sheet, combined with open-source reporting, highlights three elements about COVID-19’s origin that deserve greater scrutiny:"

I very much appreciate the kind and supportive comments. They are especially meaningful coming from those whose comments I deeply appreciate and look forward to here on AoA :)

Excellent interview, thank you both for your message, it's so important coming from warriors who have walked the walk. You're both incredibly special people - honest, articulate, compassionate and it really comes though in your speeches and writings.

Laura … thanks for all you do and … over decades .. have done for our AoA community. I suspect that "pediatrician-politican" Pan is grateful you have moved to far saner pastures. God bless ...

Laura,
Thank you for sharing your life, as well as Ryan's life with all of us. And a thank you also to Bonnie O'Neill for her book Chronic Hope. I'm looking forward to reading it!
24/7 365 commitment and caring....and hope. We are slowly running out of hope for our 47 year old son with Aspergers. As you say, it mostly comes down to acceptance and it is what it is. It's a very interesting situation when your ASD "kid" is developing a bald spot, is eligible for AARP in 3 years, and talks a lot about when his parents are dead (I won't be eating salads or broccoli, I won't be taking all these supplements. Just buy me a plot of land in Texas where I can build a house for me and my cat....)
Most of my anger is reserved for my other non-autistic but severely vaccine-injured children and how THEIR lives could have been so very different.
Keep fighting and writing!

Thank you Laura and Kim, I strive to be as thoughtful and as strong as you everyday. Please keep up the good work. Our children are evidence of harm, hence the suppression by profiteers. They don't want righteous indignation over their dangerous products to gain influence or effect change. Their hubris will be their downfall - every new vaccine breeds new ex-vaxxers. The industry thinks it is sites like this that are impacting their profits, instead of the crap they load into syringes. Stupidity doesn't win any contest in the long run.
