Connecticut DDS Letter To Permit Hospital Support System for Disabled

Homeless, Adult Disabled Daughter, An Open Letter to Governor Cuomo

Donna KNote:  As of yesterday, Donna, who will be homeless with her adult disabled daughter, and now resides in a hotel, has not heard from the Governor. Perhaps she needs to send him an old N95 mask and pretend to be a kindly Kansas farmer to get his attention, to be worthy of a TV snippet to tug on the old heartstrings. Aw gosh golly gee willikers ain't that eye-talin Andee Koo-oh-mo the greatest Guv ever?  No. He. Is. Not.  Donna lives in a hotel for 1 more week and then?

Dear Governor Cuomo, Mayor de Blasio and Senator Kaminsky:

I am writing to ask for your assistance during this COVID-19 Pandemic.  I have been watching the press conferences and the news daily… “Stay Home, Stay Safe, Save Lives, WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER, #flattenthecurve”.  My heartbreaks for all who have lost a loved one to this virus.  My situation, has its own difficulties.  Currently, I am homeless along with my daughter, Taylor, 21 years old, and her dog Penny, which she uses for emotional therapeutic support. Our housing situation has become dire because of COVID-19.  In addition, my daughter is an adult with a disability which is limiting our housing options.  She has been recently approved for Medicaid eligibility in New York State.  We are also in the process of Self Direction with Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD). As of now we do not know how much longer before OPWDD Self Direction launches and Guardianship determined.  We are at a standstill during this crisis to shelter in place with limited resources.

The COVID-19 pandemic has made our family and friends who have supported and helped us in the past to now fear us as a possible contagion.  Due to the unknown and fear of catching COVID-19 we now find ourselves on our own.  Prior to the pandemic I have been looking diligently for an apartment we could afford and call our own as we have in the past.  The past 2 years apartments on Long Island have become un-affordable in comparison to my salary which has been stagnant over the past 15 years.  Due to these circumstances, we went to Nassau County Department of Social Services for housing assistance.  We were informed our family of 2 monthly income was over the limit of $1,766.00 for New York State housing assistance and our application was denied. Affordable apartments i.e. studio can be found.  However, we do not qualify due to the strict criteria that is required by landlords/management companies. I have been informed that a Studio apartment renting for $1,400.00 per month in Long Beach, NY, would require the lessee to earn a yearly salary of $74,000.00+ and a credit score of 700+. These circumstances have completely shut us out from the rental market.

In order to shelter in place, go to the bathroom and shower we have been staying in one of the few pet friendly hotels in Nassau County.  After May 3rd, this will no longer be an option as per the Hotel Manager.  After watching the many press conferences and news of late, there is one common thread.  We will not be going back to normal anytime soon. As per our Elected Officials, in order to stop the spread and win the fight, social distancing, and face coverings are here to stay as we wait for a mandated liability free coronavirus vaccine professed to “Save Lives”, when in all actuality “We the People” will become a human “LAB RAT” for profit.  Ironically, when you suffer from a vaccine injury as my daughter did and/or death most people will profess and holler, its for “The Greater Good” then you will be callously disregarded. Because of this, tens of thousands of families in the U.S. have been dealing with the consequential damages of vaccine injury and/or death which are insurmountable and never ending. Unbeknownst to the majority, this has all stemmed from “The National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986”. Hence, the domino effect over the past 20 years of our lives which has led us to our current state of homelessness during this COVID-19 Plandemic.  We should not be left in this predicament, NOBODY should! We are in great need of assistance to secure housing in Long Beach, NY, or vicinity.  Especially with NYS of Pause now being extended to May 15th, and possibly beyond.

I look forward to your response.  Thank you for your time in the above matter.

Respectfully submitted on April 16, 2020,

Exactly Grace the `I`m all right Jack `brigade have no emapthy.Very sorry for the lady and her daughter. The biggest hepl to us was Jackie Fletchers JABS in the UK where we were behind the curb what was going on -so Joan Jackie and many helped us see what had gone on with the poisoned vaccines. From there we managed to slowly accept what had gone on and from there a way of coping. The state should be there to help but like this lady they are no where to be seen with sufficent financial support treatments etc that would really help-but then it would reflect on the finacial carnage pharma is causing.

God Bless.

This lady, Donna, wrote in her letter that she has a job, so she can't move to another cheaper state without losing all her income. This is also the dilemma shared by many in the UK, that where you have to go to get a job, the housing is just too expensive. People with a disabled dependent are, predictably, worse hit than most in this respect.

I first met Donna and then Taylor about 16 years ago. Donna was seeking employment at the Dr.’s office I was employed at. I did the initial interview and we hit it off right away and we became instant friends. I watched as she struggled each day to provide for her and her daughter. Donna was willing to work long hour’s and many times 2 jobs. I was also witness to the frustration , tears and disappointments she faced in trying to get her daughter help. She would spend hours researching and if offered help to only be disappointed yet again by governmental and judicial agencies. Donna has stayed very active in the Autism communities to help others so they would not fall victim to the red tape as is to often the case with children if special needs. We keep rewarding people for bad behaviors and those who are welcomed into this country and fail those who were born here. Please come to her and here daughters aid all avenues have been exhausted and so is she.

I think Governor Cuomo has a lot to deal with right now, like two in a thousand residents of NYC dying of Covid. I think this woman ought to consider moving to a state with a lower cost of living, which is almost all other states.

I think that after all the studies done on HCQ, most recently the Prevent Elders study in São Paulo and the ones by Dr. Didier Raoult in France, and many others, it is clear that HCQ is remarkably cheap, safe, and effective as a treatment for CV. It’s what I want if I get HV (again).

Donna, I'm really sorry to hear about your family's situation. Really I am. There is almost nothing I can do directly, to help. Almost nothing directly. All I can do here now, is share my experience, strength, and hope. I'm disabled, and only almost homeless. But I have spent YEARS of my adult life homeless. So what have I learned?
Well, what we have the LEAST CONTROL and POWER OVER is our immediate situations and circumstances. And what we have the MOST control and power over is our thoughts, feelings, attitudes, emotions, and actions. Yes, that's often, like now, easier said than done. So I want to bless your great adventure. Yes, GREAT ADVENTURE. If you can re-frame your current homeless trauma and tragedy into an OPPORTUNITY to become DARING EXPLORERS and BOLD ADVENTURERS, well, well, maybe.....
I have chosen to become and BE an infectious carrier of HOPE and OPTIMISM, and spread immunity to negativity and pessimism.... Others WILL SEE your story here, and others, such as myself, will share with you, and give unto you. "Knock, and the door shall be opened." "Ask, and ye shall receive.".... I hope this helps. And remember, KEEP UP the GOOD WORK!
(I hereby give AoA site admin permission to share my email offline to you.)

The MSM don’t seem to have reported this study on comparing countries that use antimalarial drugs (focuses on such drugs as chloroquine or hydroxychloroquine) with those that don’t. The result was that antimalarial drug use ‘correlates’ with a much slower dynamic in daily COVID-19 deaths, whilst pointing out that this doesn't prove anything.
Yet, “…. the difference in dynamics of daily deaths is so striking that we believe that the urgency context commands presenting the results before delving into further analysis.

My heart breaks for Donna and her daughter for dire inhumane circumstances she is forced to endure .. and .. further still having no where to turn for help but for her callously indifferent Governor Cuomo, Mayor De Blasio and NYS Senator Kaminsky.

Unfortunately we New Yorkers are well aware of Gov Cuomo and Mayor De Blasio's disrespect for our families well being .. having just endured a PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY declared by BOTH politicians only a few month ago .. last summer to be exact .. wherein these callous politicians targeted parents of unvaccinated children for having the audacity to believe THEY .. PARENTS … AND NOT OUR PUBLIC HEALTH OFFICIALS AND POLITICIANS LIKE THE GOV AND MAYOR … were responsible for the health of their children through exercising their universal humanitarian right to INFORMED CONSENT .. which many exercised through long standing RELIGIOUS EXEMPTIONS to mandatory vaccines. Just a few months ago .. Gov Cuomo legislated the removal of religious exemptions .. giving parents the choice … HOMESCHOOL YOUR CHILDREN OR MOVE.

Today .. these very same two despicable power-hungry politicians have seized the PANDEMIC as an opportunity to EXPAND their dictatorial powers over the entire state .. with the same CALLOUS DISREGARD AND INDIFFERENCE TO THE SUFFERING IMPOSED ON EVERY MAN, WOMAN AND CHILD IN THE STATE OF NEW YORK.

From listening to King Cuomo these past weeks … I suspect his response to Donna's desperate plea for help will be for her to "get an essential job" and stop whining about not having a job .. at the same time lecturing New Yorkers they understand the "lessening of the curve" is due solely to actions taken by HIM .. adding the fact that GOD HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT.

In Cuomo's warped mind … losing one's job, livelihood and home .. is not DEATH .. therefore it is one hundred times better than being exposed to Corona virus …

Eerily similar to someone who once lectured her people during equally difficult times … 'LET THEM EAT CAKE'

Can't wait to see what "new normal" our Gov and Mayor has planned for us .. frightening that technology now available for CONTRACT TRACING will make SOCIAL DISTANCING seem the "good old days">
