From Children's Health Defense: Critical Questions for Dr. Shiva About His Attempts to Splinter the Health Freedom Movement
Note: Yesterday, I was dismayed to see a video snippet on Twitter of one of Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai's Tweets wherein he uses a Trumpesque technique while discussing Robert Kennedy, Jr. It's buried on my Twitter feed somewhere, but it went like this. Shiva called Robert, "Robby." Kennedy goes by Bobby to friends and family,"Robby," is a diminutive name meant to belittle and marginalize. Yesterday President Trump called rival Joe Biden, "Droolin' Joe" in a Tweet. Love him or hate him, it's hardly Presidential to call a rival names. We teach our kids better, don't we?
Second, Shiva made fun of Kennedy's voice by mimicking it on his video. Kennedy has a neurological condition called "spasmodic dysphonia." Well known NPR interviewer Dian Rhem has the same condition. There are claims - and I will add that there are also counterclaims - that President Trump made fun of a reporter with a condition at a SC rally during his 2016 Presidential bid by mimicking his body movements.
Dr. Ayyadurai is running for a Senate seat in my home state of Massachusetts. Against Robert Kennedy Jr's nephew, Joseph Kennedy III. (Insert sunbeam here, it's a better disinfectant than Clorox I'm told.)
Shiva has parachuted into the vaccine choice debate like a soldier onto the bloody beaches of Normandy. To many, he's a savior. Brash, outspoken, and unafraid of ripping off feathers, let alone ruffling them. After years of beatings, we're always holding out for a hero, aren't we? But those of us who've been in the autism and vaccine choice world for some two decades know that this has been a decathlon that always has another event to tackle. We've seen this personality type come... and go. Chumming the waters.
Below, Kennedy asks you to ask tough questions of Shiva.
Critical Questions for Dr. Shiva About His Attempts to Splinter the Health Freedom Movement
By Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Chairman, Children’s Health Defense
For many months I have remained silent in the face of defamatory and dishonest attacks against me by Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai. My approach was to ignore the sniping to preserve the unity of the Health Freedom Movement. However, Shiva has expanded his malevolent campaign to include venomous salvos against our community’s most prominent and effective leaders, including Del Bigtree, Mark Blaxill, Dr. Rashid Buttar, Polly Tommey and Samoan-Australian activist Taylor Winterstein. Because he now has some of our outstanding spokesmen in his gun-sites, and because his poisonous volleys have begun to damage the solidarity that is critical to our success, I reluctantly make this response.
Little Lies / Big Lies
I had never heard of Shiva when he approached me on the street following a January 6th, 2020 Trenton rally. We had a friendly chat and took a photo. Afterward, he tweeted that I had refused to shake his hand. A half-dozen photos of us shaking hands soon surfaced, proving his statements false. It was only then that I learned he was running as a fringe candidate for U.S. Senate against my nephew, Massachusetts Congressman Joseph Kennedy. It is axiomatic that a man who lies about small things, will also lie about the large. I made a note to fact check Shiva’s assertions. I advise others to take similar precautions. Just wondering why you found it necessary to bring anti Trump sentiment into this article. It was sounding like typical spun mainstream media.

I just read several articles on techdirt about this character Ayyadurai's claims to have invented email.
Good read while you're lying on your couch saving the world.

You don't have to be a friend of RFK Jr to know he's called Bobby. In fact, Bobby's father was also called Bobby.
I watched some of an Ayyadurai video. He was grandiose and incoherent. Just odd.

@Bill -
You're right that the liberal media is anti-vax. But so are the conservative media - what has Fox News done to support our cause? And what have Republicans done to support our cause?
I feel that all the media - television, print, on-line - conservative, liberal, alternative - are bought by Pharma. And I can't think of a single politician, Democrat, Republican, Libertarian who has been courageous enough to bring this issue up in Congress. I don't think we'll make progress on this issue until we tackle the company behind the curtain - Pharma itself.
Regarding the disabled reporter - could you give me a cite for the frivolous lawsuit? I'm a lawyer and I did a search and I couldn't find it. And even if the reporter did file a lawsuit (I'll withhold judgment on the "frivolous" until I actually read the lawsuit) I don't think that merits having someone make fun of his disability on national television. Making fun of people, like calling people names, is immature.

"Hello Bob Moffit. As an AOA reader since 2008 who always looks forward to reading your insightful daily comments, this is the first time I must disagree with you as strenuously as possible."
Thank you for your gracious opening comment and I greatly respect your "strenuous disagreement" with my opinion regarding Dr Shiva Ayyadurai .. a person I admittedly know nothing about .. until having read RFK's column above .. especially this:
"However, Shiva has expanded his malevolent campaign to include venomous salvos against our community’s most prominent and effective leaders, including Del Bigtree, Mark Blaxill, Dr. Rashid Buttar, Polly Tommey and Samoan-Australian activist Taylor Winterstein"
As I said .. I know nothing about Dr Shiva Ayyadurai .. but .. RFK .. a man I hold in highest respect .. reported his "venomous salvos" were directed at people I also know and have the greatest respect and admiration for .. Del Bigtree, Mark Blaxill, Dr Rashid Buttar, Poll Tommey.
Sorry we disagree but I cannot respect Dr Ayyadurai for launching a "malevolent campaign" against such highly qualified, well-educated, courageous leaders of the PRO-SAFETY VACCINE MOVEMENT of which I am a proud life-long member.

Robt Kennedy, Jr. is a hero in our household where our daughter with severe autism lives with her older parents who struggle every day with her disability. Yet Congr. Joseph Kennedy, whom his Uncle Robert appears to be supporting for election to the U.S. Senate, voted for the impeachment of Pres. Donald Trump, never mind Trump's quiet support of efforts to reign in Pharma's efforts to dramatically increase the number of vaccines for children regardless of their safety/efficacy. Robert Kennedy, Jr. would gain that much more credibility as leader of bipartisan efforts to reign in Pharma if he could persuade his nephew Joe Kennedy IV to embrace the views of our movement and call out Pharma for their lies re. vaccines. Additionally, Congressman and perhaps Sen. Joe Kennedy could demonstrate further his sincerity by co-sponsoring a resolution for a Congressional hearing featuring whistleblower Dr. William Thompson, senior scientist at the CDC.
As for Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai, he is clearly an opportunist who will lie whenever it suits him. Yet Congressman Joe Kennedy is also part of the problem, especially when he marches in lockstep with leaders of his Democrat party who act more like members of the Chinese Communist Party than the loyal opposition of the U.S.

I only recently learned of Shiva, and I'm SO GLAD AoA has filled us in on Shivas pro-vaxx background. It's obvious to me that Shiva is more like "wild card" , or "long wolf" CONTROLLED OPPOSITION, rather than simply classic controlled opposition. I wonder, does he have a spouse, or kids? Bible says, "by their fruits shall you know them", and we say, "actions speak louder than words". When I see Shiva ARGUING, and finger-pointing at mothers in public, that tells me all I need to know about Dr. SNAKE Shiva!
Oh, dear! Looks like I might have a mild trumparona virus infection there.... lol
As always, KEEP UP the GOOD WORK, PEOPLE!

Until relatively recently, (last year) I had not heard of Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai. I heard him in an interview on Coast to Coast and he seemed to be claiming a lot of 'singular' accomplishments in the Health Freedom Movement, that based on my awareness is perhaps seriously undeserved. Johnny Come Lately comes to mind. So does Schmuck.

I am NOT defending Trump here! BUT, I am defending TRUTH, and accuracy against the PhRMA-funded fake news MSM. In 2016, Trump did mock a disabled reporter, because the reporter had filed a frivolous lawsuit against Trump. The reporter does have a "claw hand" as the result of his disability, but not spastic movements. (Sorry for my word choice here, folks, but I really don't know how to better express it.) Trump is a jerk and an idiot, but the MSM regularly lies, distorts, exaggerates, etc., anything Trump says and does, just to play to their own base.
Trump is not as good as his supporters say, and not as bad as the Dems & MSM paint him to be. I'm equally disgusted with the MSM as a whole, as I am with Dems & Repubs BOTH! I really LOVE that AoA is as politically neutral as they are. Not easy to do! KEEP UP the GOOD WORK, FOLKS!

Hello Bob Moffit. As an AOA reader since 2008 who always looks forward to reading your insightful daily comments, this is the first time I must disagree with you as strenuously as possible. IMO, there are huge non-overlapping contributions from each of the parties mentioned, and I certainly don't need to buy into their opinions of one another in order to personally benefit from each, which I definitely do.
I'm a NJ transplant to CA currently back in NJ closely witnessing the feckless legislators in each locale jam "public health" bills on the unsuspecting public. If I lived in MA, 100% without hesitation I'd be on team #Shiva4Senate, an immensely (over) qualified candidate who easily demonstrates a lifetime of support for #TruthFreedomHealth and doesn't pull punches, although I do wish he'd pivot from this controversy, ASAP.

Another megalomaniac, never once has he mentioned or stood up for the injured. His focus has always been on self-promotion.
Thank you Robert Kennedy and AoA always!

Not important, but it should be "gun sights," not "gun sites."

"Shiva has parachuted into the vaccine choice debate like a soldier onto the bloody beaches of Normandy. To many, he's a savior."
I don't know anything about this man. Can anyone tell me why he has been seen by some as a savior for the health choice movement?

Reading about Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai's extensive listed "conflicts of interest" was very encouraging as it fully explains where his anger and disgust for RFK's Children's Health Defense organization originates. Obviously the good doctor is so conflicted as a life-long vaccine financial profiteer .. his opinions are rendered so untrustworthy they are virtually meaningless to anyone seeking truth rather than dogma.
Having this man as a leading example and spokesman for the vaccine industry should be viewed as a weakness, clear and convincing evidence the entire industry lacks qualified, independent scientists, absent the Doctor's obvious conflicts of interests to defend it.
It's a little bit like having OJ Simpson or Jeffery Epstein defend our Justice system.
