Rtp, Please see my previous comment.

Hell! The city of Wuhan if they test their entire populace of 11 million would most likely find the vast majority would be "coronavirus positive", and even the "strain" that is purported to be new. A virus that's been around since medically-recorded time, AND, its great number of "strains" keep growing via modern microbiology technology.

What HAS changed is the massive Pharma/Health Industry Cabal constantly creating/finding new virus variations that have always existed, and thus claiming a need to create yet another new vaccine, to SAVE the human race. And to enrich and empower themselves.

david m burd

Here's a reference I've cited in other coronavirus Posts here on AoA:

http://www.centerforhealthsecurity.org/cbn/2005/cbnreport_071805.html

Pharma/CDC/FDA Industry has allowed lethal drugs such as ribavirin to actually CREATE pandemics; the toxicology profiles for such as ribavirin clearly cite its hemolytic destruction of red blood cells, thus death by lack of oxygen.

SARS, and now coronavirus/Wuhan is certain to be a result of lethally toxic administered drugs, along with a panicked/paralyzed public that ignorantly accepts such lethal drugs, as happened back in 2002-2003 SARS. That's the way our completely dogmatic lockstep Medical World keeps fooling the general public (and themselves, if they ever think about it).

By way, Wuhan with its 11 Million population, life expectancy 75 years, has weekly deaths/mortality of over 3,000; thus the 35 weekly "coronavirus deaths" are insignificant, and could easily be death aby any other pneumonia causes. This whole PANIC has been beautifully ochestrated. And, it's phoney.

Rtp

Eindecker you do understand that just because there are lots of incoherent theories floating around about coronavirus it doesn't magically make the mainstream one (which is also incoherent) correct don't you?

Can you explain how previous "pandemics" like SARS stopped? No widespread vaccine, no cure but it just magically stopped. Quarantining clearly isn't the answer because that could only theoretically work if there were no asymptomatic carriers.

Did trillions of viral particles simultaneously mutate into a benign form?

cia

Hera,

I think the propagation of flu is much larger at this time, flu viruses have been circulating at large for centuries. But because this coronavirus so far has a higher mortality where it is found, many are extrapolating, What if if were to spread in other countries as widely as flu does now? I think it's jumping the gun. I don't think it can be contained at this point, but the good thing is that so far it doesn't seem to be as deadly as many diseases, even as deadly as other coronaviruses like SARS and MERS. Everyone should relax: out of many thousands of cases of novel coronavirus, relatively few have died, and, as noted in the last few days, most (not all) of those who have died were elderly with pre-existing respiratory conditions. Of course their lives matter too, and when they develop the vaccine for novel coronavirus, people in this group may want to take the vaccine. There still won't be a reason for younger, healthier people to take it unless they decide it's a good idea for them personally. I won't take it.

China closed all their wild animal markets on Sunday, and I hope they will close them permanently, although I don't know how feasible that is with cultural roots like it has and possibly the need for such food to provide enough protein, like in Africa with Ebola virus. We'll see how it goes, but it's very likely that this coronavirus will just disappear the way the SARS virus did.

michael

Eindecker, Yes there are stories circulating that tend to be at best or worse incomplete. Fortunately many of us have learned not to make snap decisions on much that comes out in the media on too many things. I appreciate the range of views and information that gets discussed at AOA. It should come as no surprise that in the Gallop Poll of last year, the bottom three in terms of distrust were, starting at the bottom of the pit--the pharmaceutical industry; standing on its shoulders were the health care industry and in a three way marriage to the two bottom dwellers was government. The pharmaceutical industry necrotizes everything it comes in contact with including the Gates foundation and it various tentacles.

Its interesting to note, for the photo that the Gallup Poll used in the article to publish its results of distrust was a Merck vaccine. https://news.gallup.com/poll/266060/big-pharma-sinks-bottom-industry-rankings.aspx

I do find it strange that people are reportedly dying in large numbers from the flu ( at least some of the dead have reportedly been vaccinated) but suddenly the news is all over the coronavirus, which it appears is killing thousands less than the flu. Is it because so many vaccinated people are dying , that the news is less willing to keep reporting this, instead choosing to focus on minimal deaths ( in comparison , at least so far), from coronavirus?

I do wonder, though, if we start treating coronavirus with tamiflu, whether we will also see a concurrent increase in deaths?
The fact that the family of viruses have been studied in the past and are considered a good candidate for a quick vaccine does make me wonder..
particularly in light of the "mistake" several years back where somehow an error lead to vaccines containing an experimental virus mixing avian flu with H1N1. But these things just happen sometimes, of course, and no one seems to be that upset or worried about it if it gets discovered...

David,
That was interesting information. When I saw the number of fatalities per number of reported cases I was surprised, that was mortality of about one in fifty, which didn’t agree with what I had read about its having lower mortality than normal flu. I think that what you had at the end is correct and that it’s like measles, everyone got it, but few reported it. But we’ll have to wait and see. MERS has about 30 percent mortality, which is horrifying. I shouldn’t have been so casual about coronavirus yesterday, although I think this panic is silly and suspect. There are about twelve people now in countries outside China, and I think if it were that dangerous, some of them would have died by now. But I think everyone needs to pace themselves. New pathogens are emerging all the time, and old ones mutate and become more (or less) dangerous. I read Sonia Shaw’s Pandemic last year and was shocked at all the new killer diseases she described in great detail and her descriptions of the people and environments where they emerged. I had never heard of them before. Several were in China, at poultry or pig markets or farms.

The moral seems to be that it is we who are foolish if we think that the disease balance in the world at any time is going to stay that way for any time at all.

Wuhan seafood market may not be source of novel virus spreading globally. As confirmed cases of a novel virus surge around the world with worrisome speed, all eyes have so far focused on a seafood market in Wuhan, China, as the origin of the outbreak. But a description of the first clinical cases published in The Lancet on Friday challenges that hypothesis. In the earliest case, the patient became ill on 1 December 2019 and had no reported link to the seafood market, the authors report. “No epidemiological link was found between the first patient and later cases,” they state. Their data also show that, in total, 13 of the 41 cases had no link to the marketplace. “Now It seems clear that [the] seafood market is not the only origin of the virus,” he wrote. “But to be honest, we still do not know where the virus came from now.” https://www.sciencemag.org/news/2020/01/wuhan-seafood-market-may-not-be-source-novel-virus-spreading-globally

106 people are dead and 4,690 cases have been confirmed in mainland China in some reports. Nearly 60 million people are under partial or full lockdowns in Chinese cities to help combat its spread. https://edition.cnn.com/asia/live-news/coronavirus-outbreak-01-28-20-intl-hnk/index.html

This link to a live dashboard pulls data from the World Health Organization (WHO) -- as well as the centers for disease control in the US, China and Europe -- to show all confirmed and suspected cases of coronavirus, along with recovered patients and deaths. The data is visualized through a real-time graphic information system (GIS) powered by Esri. You can click the regions on the left such as USA as well. https://gisanddata.maps.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/bda7594740fd40299423467b48e9ecf6

The true severity of the outbreak isn’t yet known. There is person to person transmission outside of China now- Germany, Japan and Taiwan reported first coronavirus patients who didn’t visit China. The new cases all involve people who contracted the deadly illness outside China from someone else who went to the epidemic-stricken country. Human-to-human transmission had already been observed in Canada. The reproductive rate of this outbreak — the number of people, on average, that each case will infect is higher than Sars. An outbreak with a reproductive number of below 1 will peter out. But a number of groups have calculated a reproductive rate for this current outbreak — known by the term R-naught or R0 — in the range of 2 to 3 or beyond. 2019-nCoV may have a higher pandemic risk than SARS in 2003. 2019-nCoV has a more severe ability of transmission than SARS-CoV - this refers to that rating of expected number of secondary infectious cases produced by a typical index case. https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.01.25.919787v1?ref=tokendaily The average incubation duration of 2019-nCoV infection was 4.8 days and was mentioned to be likely contagious without first showing symptoms. The World Health Organization says the incubation period for the virus is between two and 10 days. On Monday, the World Health Organization quietly raised its global risk assessment for coronavirus from "moderate" to "high," admitting the previous assessment was "incorrect."
It appears that many cases are unreported. Medical personnel at hospitals have said that the number of kits they are supplied is less than 10 percent of what they need to test patients. Mortality isn't as high as with SARS, and that's reassuring for the moment. The bad news is that the mortality is high enough, and if you have large numbers of people infected from high transmission rates with the kinds of crude estimates of mortality that are reported right now, that's still going to be a big concern. It may be reasonable to infer that there may be a large number of undetected relatively mild infections in Wuhan and elsewhere as well as unreported cases and therefore that the actual infection fatality risk is below 1% or even below 0.1% rather than 3% fatality rate as reported.

Rtp

"in fact as senior scientist remarked to me yesterday we know that these people had the virus, we don’t know that they died because of the virus."

Are you finally coming round to my way of thinking?

cia

David,

That is an oversimplification. At this time, seven different types of coronavirus have emerged and affected humans. The first four are the most common in humans: 1) 229E (alpha), 2) NL63 (alpha), 3) OC43 (beta), and 4) HKU1 (beta), and then three types which first appeared in animals but then made the species leap: 5) MERS (beta), 6) SARS (beta), and 2019 novel, what we are seeing now. The different types vary in virulence and mortality. I think MERS is the most deadly kind. But all of them have killed some people. You can say correctly that it's usually because they had weak immune systems to start with, but it's still the case that they wouldn't have died at that time if they hadn't caught the virus. And it's still the case that for people healthy enough to cope with it, it's always better to just go through it naturally and get both specific and non-specific immunity.

https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/types.html

Malaria is one of the few diseases which is still around which has been around for millions of years. Most of them have a clear beginning in historic times, although that might be before Christ. And most of them made the species leap from animals to humans, the way many types of coronavirus have. And the closer the patients are to the infected animals, the more serious their disease tends to be. Ebola is another example. It was originally thought that SARS depended on direct contact with infected birds, but then it evolved to become capable of being transmitted person-to-person, as has this novel coronavirus.

I don't think it's a big deal that another type of coronavirus has evolved: there will be still more to come. It's what viruses do. Some of them, like measles, maintain stability for a very long time, but others, like flu viruses, are constantly changing.

I do agree that it's contemptible that the industry tries to make people believe that their only salvation will be in the coming vaccine. Much better to use natural means to improve your immune system and herbal, vitamin, and homeopathic remedies to treat contagious diseases when you get them. You could not possibly ever take a vaccine for every conceivable pathogen which has ever lived in your community and killed at least a certain number of people, and if you did, it would destroy your immune system. Your immune system has evolved over millions of years to have many stratagems for overcoming invading pathogens, and, when it's sensible to do so, you should trust its abilities to protect you. In some cases I think it might be justified to get the vaccine, but not many. Rabies, for example, Ebola, yellow fever, tetanus. Not 2019 novel coronavirus.

david m burd

Cia, Actually there a great many Journal Papers over the past couple decades going into amazing minutia about the coronavirus and its countless variations -- reading them is a sure cure for insomnia.

OF COURSE the Phama/Govt Cabal will claim a new exotic evolved coronavirus is dangerous: that IS what the Cabal does: Scare The Hell Out the Public - and lead them by-their-collective-nose to more and more toxic vaccines. I'm a little surprised you fall for this obvious Big Lie (made infamous by the Nazi propaganist Josef Goebbels quote saying "the big Lie is most easily swallowed by public".

Cia

John and David,

I just looked it up and saw several sources in the last hour say that it is 106 deaths now. I and my sources were mistaken in saying 500. Any infection can cause death in vulnerable people, and I’m sure this virus is the same.

There are new diseases being born all the time. Almost all the diseases we’re most familiar with now have a beginning which can be pinpointed in historical times. And they change and mutate, becoming more or less virulent over time. Pneumonia can move in to any situation which has produced weakened lungs, and can in many cases kill.

It’s not the case that diseases are always benign as long as you don’t take drugs to treat them.

We really don’t know much yet about this virus. It doesn’t seem to be very dangerous at this time and there’s no point in going into crisis mode. The sister of a woman in charge of C’s pre-voc training was tested for this disease when she arrived at the LA airport last week, probably just a fever test, but I don’t know. That’s just a waste of public funds.

Why not just accept that we live in a world of constantly changing pathogens? We have to take on the milder ones so our immune systems keep their skills honed and gain experience coping with locally-prevalent germs. So far this virus seems to be mild for most healthy people.

Benedetta

But, but, but all the big famous doctors on the TV says that this virus has an unusual incubation period! A whole two weeks!

Wait a minute, wait a minute; my infectious disease book from way back in 1979 said that most, if not all incubation periods are two weeks.

John Stone

According to that unimpeachable source the BBC the death toll has now reached 106 - in fact as senior scientist remarked to me yesterday we know that these people had the virus, we don’t know that they died because of the virus. A city the size of Wuhan may routinely have 10,000 deaths a month and many will have respiratory ramifications so it is quite hard to know what all this means - while, of course, we are being told we should be in panic mode and that we may need Johnson & Johnson (who blithely sold talc laced with asbestos as baby powder) to come and save us.

In the U.K. we are still giving schoolchildren a nasal flu vaccine for which the package inserts give a warning about staying away from the immunocompromised which will include other schoolchildren, so what’s the difference? Public health has become an unhinged promotional exercise.

david m burd

Cia, It's important to correct your faulty claim of 500 coronavirus deaths in China these last several weeks. The best FACTS I can find comes from yesterday's BBC coronavirus story that states 82 total deaths to date, AND, clearly states the great majority of deaths to be elderly and with serious preexisting respiratory conditions. NO further age breakdown otherwise of fatalities.

All this ochestrated PANIC reminds me of 2009 here in the U.S. when our corrupt CDC listed ALL flu-suspect cases to be H1N1, then proceeded to poison pregnant women with two neurotoxic flu vaccines doses, one being the "regular shot", and a second brand new H1N1 shot. Of course this resulted in many thousands of spontaneous abortions due to fetuses being irreparably damaged in the womb, and also permanent sterilization in many. The CDC actually admitted the new H1N1 vaccine contained 25 micrograms of mercury on top of the "usual flu shot" that also contained 25 micrograms of mercury. THESE combined flu shots with their ethiylmercury cannot be denied or brushed aside, and unambiguously indicts our CDC as the Holocaustic Criminals they are.

Please pardon any typos, and, By the way Cia, where in heck did you come up with your claim of 500 deaths???

Thanks David Burd. You hit the nail on the head.

Every so-called pandemic - no exceptions - has been iatrogenic in nature. Not necessarily at first but after a few people die (from whatever) and doctors decide the deaths are caused by some kind of contagious disease, then the iatrogenic response takes over and starts injuring and kill people who had nothing to do with the original cause of the deaths.

Panic ensues and lo and behold we have a "pandemic".

The Black Death didn't stop because rats and fleas became extinct.

Cia

I think the first SARS death was in a twelve year old girl who was disposing of dead chickens on a poultry farm in Southeast Asia. She was hospitalized and her mother, who was working in another city, came to care for her, and developed symptoms a week or two later. It was most dangerous to those with close contact with infected birds. Both the girl and her mother died of it. I don’t want to minimize the suffering of those affected, I just think we should keep it in perspective. I’ve seen several articles that say Wuhan virus now in France! In Canada! In the US! 500 dead! But on reading more closely, that’s 500 dead in China out of who knows how many crowded thousands. No deaths anywhere else.

david m burd

ALL, One more comment: In the 2002-2003 SARS hysteria, and total of 813 deaths, there were ZERO pediatric deaths. ZERO.

Best I can find here in 2020 there have been zero coronavirus pediatric deaths. ZERO.

I speculate infants and children are not terrified as have adults who have been so conditioned over the decades by our Medical Mafia to knee-jerk fear disease and viruses, and then submit to lethally-toxic drug regimens, and also believe they can die from this coronavirus -- that has been around since time immemorial.

Mind Control so pushed by the Medical Mafia is typified by this coronavirus hysteria.

david m burd

As documented in Canada 18 years ago, the lethally toxic nucleoside analogue ribavirin was employed - until Emergency Bulletins stopped its use; thence Canada "SARS" deaths went to zero. All the other "SARS" deaths in China & SE Asia amounted to 780 (aside from single outlier deaths in Europe and South Africa). Thus, somehow the WHOLE REST OF THE WORLD escaped from the absurdly touted coronvirus, instead of the true iatrogenic reason. Imagine that.

It is very well documented also that the lethal ribavirin drug was extensively employed in China and SE Asia - but all the deaths were blamed on a "virus", not the drug ribavirin (the true cause). A classis scenario where medically-caused iatrogenic mortality is blamed on a "virus"- whereas the basic cause of deaths were from a blind faith in deadly, toxic drug treatments.

This is a non-event, but I guess the media have been trained to go into a frenzy at reports of any contagious illness. So far it has been much less dangerous than flu, with a lower rate of death. Like all such illnesses, it would be better to just go ahead and get it and care for yourself as you would if you had the flu. Those in high-risk groups should just do what they normally would. A vaccine will certainly be forthcoming for those who need its emotional security, despite the many adverse reactions it is certain to have.

Don Hamilton, DVM, author of Homeopathic Care for Dogs and Cats, said about the coronavirus vaccine for dogs that it was a vaccine in search of a disease, that the virus appeared to be very mild in dogs, and he thought it might not exist at all. He said to refuse the vaccine.

On June 19, 2015, the UK government-funded Pirbright Institute filed an application for a patent for the live coronavirus, which was approved on Nov 20, 2018. A Pirbright Institute “primary funder” is the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation: https://www.infowars.com/bill-and-melinda-gates-foundation-others-predicted-up-to-65-million-deaths-via-coronavirus-in-simulation-ran-3-months-ago/

The US National Institutes of Health (NIH) is launching a rush program to develop a vaccine against the China coronavirus. The goal? Have a vaccine ready for human testing in an unprecedented 90 days. NIH is partnering with a US vaccine company, Moderna, Inc. The vaccine is a new type called RNA. According to Reuters (“With Wuhan virus genetic code in hand, scientists begin work on a vaccine,” Jan 24, 2020), “[these are] vaccines based on ribonucleic acid (RNA)—a chemical messenger that contains instructions for making proteins.” Its website states, in a January 23rd press release: “Moderna Announces Funding Award from CEPI to Accelerate Development of Messenger RNA (mRNA) Vaccine Against Novel Coronavirus”. “CEPI was founded in Davos by the governments of Norway and India, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Wellcome Trust, and the World Economic Forum.” https://www.naturalblaze.com/2020/01/vaccine-for-the-china-virus-the-planet-is-the-guinea-pig-for-a-vast-experiment.html Note also RNA vaccines ARE ENTIRELY EXPERIMENTAL and NEVER BEEN USED ON THE PUBLIC BEFORE. IT IS NOT LICENSED FOR PUBLIC USE.

In the vaccine space, we’ve funded early-stage companies like CureVac and Moderna, which are using so-called messenger RNA approaches to developing vaccines. https://www.barrons.com/articles/bill-gates-big-pharma-and-startups-are-key-to-gains-in-global-health-1515443789 The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has committed up to $20.0 million in grant funding to support our initial project related to the evaluation of antibody combinations in a preclinical setting as well as the conduct of a first-in-human Phase 1 clinical trial of a potential mRNA medicine to help prevent human immunodeficiency virus, or HIV, infections. Follow-on projects which could bring total potential funding under the framework agreement up to $100.0 million (including the HIV antibody project) to support the development of additional mRNA-based projects for various infectious diseases can be proposed and approved until the sixth anniversary of the framework agreement, subject to the terms of the framework agreement, including our obligation to grant to the Bill &Melinda Gates Foundation certain non-exclusive licenses. https://www.modernatx.com/ecosystem/strategic-collaborators/foundations

Vaccines that use a mirror image of DNA to halt the growth of bacteria and viruses appear capable of speeding development of the prevention tools dramatically, Gates said in an interview. Moderna Therapeutics Inc. and CureVac GmbH are two companies developing the approach, Gates said, which is based on a genetic messenger called mRNA. “Even if a new pandemic broke out of something you’d never seen before, you might be able to get a new vaccine developed in months,” as opposed to years, he said on the sidelines of a meeting in London focused on malaria. We never agreed, never got to vote on, being ruled by billionaires. If only Gates had not been allowed to be a monopolistic, off-shoring, tax-dodging scumbag, maybe he wouldn't be trying to kill us all with his philanthropy today.

B&M Gates also have the Medical Research Institute (MRI) in Boston which was characterized as "a biotech within a charity." It's chief is Dr. Penny Heaton, formerly with Novavax and the CDC, among others. Their mission is to help develop vaxxes that will then by brought to market by the usual suspects.

Another issue in all of this is that pharmaceuticals are now manufactured in China, India and other non-domestic locals. Vaccines are also, with WuXi Biologics as an example. How ironic it would be to have the vaccine for Wuhan coronavirus made in China. One also has to wonder about the role of offshore billionaires financing vaccine pushes domestically. Money now speaks so loudly that American citizens aren't being heard. They were heard briefly in N. J., but then berated for standing in the way of vaccine business getting what it wants.

Event 201 is a high-level pandemic exercise hosted by the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security in partnership with the World Economic Forum and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. This is extremely fascinating because this pandemic simulation exercise of coronavirus took place about 6 weeks before the first illness from the coronavirus was actually reported in Wuhan, China. That is one hell of a coincidence if you believe in that sort of thing. Another fascinating connection is the fact that not only did the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation participate in and help set up the pandemic simulation of a coronavirus outbreak, but they just so happen to fund the group who owns the patent to the deadly coronavirus and are already working on a vaccine to solve the current crisis. Again, an incredible coincidence…

In this report you will see footage from inside the event from the members of the emergency epidemic board in this simulation consisting of representatives from major banks, the UN, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Johnson and Johnson, logistical powerhouses, the media as well as officials from China and America’s CDC just to name a few. This simulation also includes news reports that were fabricated just for this exercise — please keep that in mind because they are eerily similar to reports we are currently seeing regarding this real-world coronavirus outbreak. https://www.activistpost.com/2020/01/did-bill-gates-world-economic-forum-predict-coronavirus-outbreak-an-inside-look-may-shock-you.html

The coronavirus spreading globally may have originated in a laboratory in the city of Wuhan linked to China’s covert biological weapons program. The Washington Times reports that Wuhan is also the site of two Chinese biological labs according to Dany Shoham, a former Israeli military intelligence officer who has studied Chinese biowarfare. The report suggests the virus was either accidentally let out or deliberately. What’s more is the lab was officially working with different strains of coronavirus, as well as other deadly illnesses like Ebola, beginning in 2018. This lab is just 20 miles away from the Huanan Seafood market where the first case of the Coronavirus is believed to be transmitted. The head of China’s National Health Commission, Ma Xiaowei, warned on Sunday that people who carried the disease but did not show flu symptoms could still infect others. That would be a major difference between the new virus and SARS, a coronavirus that spread in China and around the world nearly two decades ago, killing 800 people. He also said on Sunday that the new coronavirus’s incubation period was about 10 to 14 days, and during the period is contagious. “There have been mild cases where observation has shown that the patients were contagious during the incubation period. The incubation period is around 10 days,” he said. “The shortest time before the disease’s onset was one day. The longest was 14 days. This is very different from SARS.”   The C.D.C. is urging the public to get flu shots, to help reduce the number of people seeking treatment for symptoms that might be mistaken for the new coronavirus... https://www.nytimes.com/2020/01/26/world/china-coronavirus.html
