@ Mariana
God bless you, your husband and husband's friend for participating in that wonderfully attended PROTEST in Albany, NY.
I truly believe there would more than a MILLION parents attending these growing protests all over the country if they could … Perhaps that is the NUMBER … A MILLION .. to get the media's attention? I still remember MLK's MILLION MAN CIVIL RIGHTS MARCH ..
In any event … I remember 18 years ago travelling to Albany and the crowd was a very disheartening 15 people .. more media onlookers than demonstrators … so … when I see the thousands all over the country … from Maine to California .. NY, NJ, etc .. I am greatly ENCOURAGED …. our numbers are GROWING LARGER AND LARGER EVERY DAY.

Hi Bob! My husband was one of those loud protesters. He carpooled the 3 hours up to Albany that day with a dear dad friend of ours, whose epileptic son just barely retained his medical exemption this time, for one more year. Both dads noticed that the building housing Merck is literally right next to the state Capitol, down the hill. Shameless. If the other wife (my pal) and I had come up too with all the kids we would’ve been an extra 8 people. Next they’re already aiming to close the loophole this year allowing summer camp attendance. It’s only the first few days in the session! Boy, Election Day can’t come soon enough...

Today's editorial in NY Post … "What Cuomo Failed To Say" … extremely disappointed that Cuomo's State of the State Address failed to mention "last year's "reforms" that now put public safety at risk and the state's outmigration of people since Cuomo took office, the highest of any state".
By "last year's reforms" the NY Post editors refer to changes in the law that have led to "revolving door injustice, as perps with long rap sheets avoid jail and prosecutors even delay pressing charges thanks to insane "discovery" rules".
Talk about the pot calling the kettle black … considering the editors failed to mention the 1500 or so demonstrators that flooded Albany protesting LAST YEAR'S INJUSTICE OF REMOVING THE RELIGIOUS EXEMPTION TO VACCINES AND SEEKING TO PREVENT PENDING LEGISLATION THAT WILL PROVIDE MANDATORY HPV VACCINES FOR MALES AND FEMALES .. WITH 9 YEAR OLDS BEING VACCINATED WITHOUT PARENTAL CONSENT.
The above photo of Rita Palma being "stopped and frisked" by NY State troopers was not published in NY Post … it wasn't even mentioned that 30-40 NY State troopers were assigned to "protect" the legislators and Governor as they walked through mob of LOUD PROTESTORS … blowing whistles and bull horns saying "Cuomo works for Merck" .. "Cuomo is corrupt" .. "we will never submit" .. etc.
It was sheer pandemonium .. yet .. the NY Post "failed to report it".
While the editorial acknowledged NY State has seen great numbers leaving the State .. it has NEVER acknowledged that THOUSANDS of New Yorkers have no choice but to LEAVE the state if they want to exercise their INFORMED CONSENT RIGHT TO REFUSE VACCINATING THEIR CHILDREN .. FOR RELIGIOUS OR ANY OTHER REASON.
Unfortunately .. all major media in my area of NY ignored those thousands of parents protesting the legislature and Governor's declared war on parents seeking only to exercise their RIGHT TO INFORMED CONSENT … choosing to exercise the media's greatest power … their power to IGNORE events they refuse to report. There was a segment on a group of about 30 demonstrators in Times Square protesting Trump and Iran escalation … but a THOUSAND protestors in Albany .. nothing … silence. Trust me … for every single individual who spent 6-7 hours on a frozen day in Albany .. there were a thousand though not physical present supported them and wished to God they could have been there.
