Oh dear, this is the kind of Tweet that if WE made this claim on Social Media, we'd be pilloried as not understanding science. And rightly so. On what planet is a strong immune system bad?  And why does pharma and the CDC and Dick Pan allow this law professor to be the mouthpiece for vaccination? The immune system kicks in to FIGHT infection by generating heat known as fever. I learned that at my mother's kitchen table while sipping once, sipping twice sipping chicken soup with rice with a warm forehead and a dolly at my side. But don't take my word for it, I’m just a dumb woman without any letters after my  name. Fever can support the immune system's attempt to gain advantage over infectious agents, such as viruses and bacteria, and it makes the body less favorable as a host for replicating viruses and bacteria, which are temperature sensitive.

Dorit so loves vaccinations that she thinks they are better than the human immune system. Yikes, what hubris. She is Israeli - perhaps she meant the "Jewish Flu Shot" (chicken soup.) Only if it comes in a syringe labeled Pfizer.

CIA; We read all this stuff and then stand back and try to make sense of it all . We respect books, the written word, people that speaks with authority, the experts, the schools, the teachers, the professors. It is hard not to. Why do we do it? Maybe we all have some kind of herd, pack, or tribe mentality that makes it so easy to manipulate us?

Lets think about this flu of 1918 when healthy young people had robust immune systems that ended up killing them because of some Spanish flu that started in the states, exported to the trenches of Europe, and then home again, home again; giggidy, gig. I am going to sound stupid to many here and maybe that happened just like it was written? Maybe it did not,

However; I find it strange that I knew many, many , many of those when they were old, that when they were young; lived during the time of WWI ; none bothered to mention death in the streets from the flu of that era to me? It just looks like to me that some of them might have mentioned it?

Maybe if it is all David Burd said, bad aspirin then it must have been in short supply.

I know, there is a book written about it. I read it. That there are suppose to be cemeteries just filled up from that date of poor, young souls that died that year. I have not seen those cemeteries though. I just keep thinking about all those that I knew, that lived, that I talked to a lot, and yet they did not bother to mention those tragedies of their friends dying so young to me. This leave me some what perplexed?

My grand mother-in-law from New York State had pictures of her and husband when he returned from Europe holding her in his lap and kissing. My other grand mother/ and father in-law (another WWI vet) living in Southern California never mentioned it either to me, and never to my husband as he grew up in their home. The worse thing that they "all", and I do mean "ALL" did talk about; every last one of them; was about how some of their friends that did return from war had to be institutionalized because of shell shock. I wonder if it was the horror of wars, or more likely the ghastly chemical gasing. I think the latter because the many WWII veterans that I also knew, my father included, did not suffer shell shock, and was never institutionalized. Yet that war too was horrible.

The only deaths and tragedy that were talked about from that era was my very own grandmother who had five of her younger siblings die in one week's time from something they called the bloody flux. They still had 11 or so kids that survived. The bloody flux is diarrhea and does not sound like flu symptoms, plus the blood was coming from the opposite end. It was probably typhoid or cholera? They suspected that maybe some fertilizer their mother had ordered for her garden, might have been the culprit.

All the rest of my great grandmothers raised their entire brood to adulthood, well almost all with a few exceptions, and the numbers of kids were staggering: 13 to 16 kids.

As far as the immunoglobulin; which came up tonight when my sister-in-law called. Well, she has IVs every month since she has very low IgGs and cannot fight off infections. She has been told she was born with it. Which I say is yet another doctor making up stuff that he knows nothing about. If you look up Immunoglobulin deficiencies; it says that the majority of them are acquired. That is hardly a strong immune system, that my husband once upon a time claimed his family had to much of.

Some body go over and ask Dorit what she meant by that strong immune system comment? That we here on Age of Autism was wondering? Dorit will answer you I am sure, after all she has talked to "ALL" of us at one time, even to little stupid me! To my great surprise!

A key immune response pathway regulated by zinc has been discovered by scientists that hold clues to stopping sepsis, one of the leading causes of death in America’s intensive care units. During a severe infection known as sepsis, a deficiency in zinc intake can cause an amplified and potentially deadly immune response. When the body detects an infection, zinc is recruited to help produce immune response proteins, and then it's used to stop their production. But zinc deficiency during sepsis appears to cause a catastrophic malfunctioning of the system, resulting in a amplified and prolonged inflammatory response. Zinc helps control infections by gently tapping the brakes on the immune response in a way that prevents out-of-control inflammation that can be damaging and even deadly. Zinc-deficient mice developed overwhelming inflammation in response to sepsis and were three times more likely to die than mice on a normal diet.

When a pathogen is recognized, a series of molecules wake up from dormancy to create a process that activates the innate immune response. A major part of this process involves the NF-κB pathway, named for a highly active protein that is known to play an important role in the immune response to infection. Once NF-κB is activated and enters the nucleus, a gene is expressed that produces a zinc transporter called ZIP8. The transporter then rapidly mobilizes to the cell's wall, where it can then shuttle zinc from the bloodstream into the cell. After cell entry, zinc is then directed to and binds to a different protein in the NF-κB pathway. When this happens, it halts any further activity in that process. The cumulative impact of this feedback loop is that it prevents excessive inflammation. If there is not enough zinc available at the time of infection, the consequences include excessive inflammation.  and

Maybe this was written by software, in her name (or what she takes responsibility for), that has "learned" (AI, I'm wondering) that the symptoms that sell pharma products are "bad." Maybe in a few more weeks it will "learn" that vaccine are bad because they can cause fever and infection (or in some instances--like DTP, probably all killed vaccines-- increased risk for infections broadly, i.e. compromised immunity).

I wonder if she'll take responsibility for this if this is the case?

However, you just repeat the bullcrap repeated endlessly by a corrupt Pharma going back over 100 years. Factually there were scores of millions doses (perhaps over a billion) of experimental, very toxic vaccines newly formulated that were injected into citizens and soldiers alike (such soldiers/recruits required to take such pus-generated toxic vacccines, and were also copied by public health officials to be given to civilians).

Additionally, the newly 1918 mass produced "aspirin" formulations were given in dose amounts many times more than lethal to both military and public alike. Thus any combination of such extremely toxic injections and aspirin (by mouth) resulted in the carnage you refer to - including lung tissues literally disintegrating by either source. it is a giant LIE that an influenza virus caused the "Spanish Flu."

I hope you will not keep "adding fuel to the fire" when you cite hopelessly, wrongly, the false claim about "flu dangers", when actually good winter-time nutrition (vitamin D, etc.) is most critical, not for just flu but the many other 'respriratory illnesses arising among those nutrient-deficient. I found a lot of results on treating cytokine storms. It would be a horrifying thing to deal with if it happened to you. This is one of the results, it describes a novel treatment being used in Europe to filter and replace all of the blood in the patient's body. There are a number of comments on it, some supporting the new treatment and others saying it is dangerous. There are several drugs which have been used to try to treat it, with varying degrees of success. Several specific cases are described, one in a fifty-year old man with H3N2 flu. Several with H1N1 flu. I think it's just something to be aware of. I'd say that in those with symptoms which might indicate that this syndrome might be starting, they should get to an ER as quickly as possible.

It was a half-truth. She may not have understood about the fact that in some cases a strong, healthy immune system can cause it to attack a pathogen so vigorously that it initiates an often-fatal cytokine storm. She has probably read about healthy young adults having the highest fatality rate in the case of some diseases like some types of flu, but it may be that she doesn't understand the reason, and just speculated that it was the infection and the fever in themselves. I had a terrible argument in St. Louis when we were spending the night before a flight in my friend's home several years ago, with her, her husband, and teen-aged daughter. All three of them insisted that fever was dangerous in itself and must be lowered during illness. And all three rejected what I said about vaccine damage.

But it is equally a half-truth to say that young adults with healthy immune systems are never in any danger from diseases like these flus. We should recognize the whole picture and go from there. For myself, I would not be afraid of getting the flu. I would, perforce, go to bed and stay there if I came down with it. The last time, four years ago, I was too sick to even go to look for my remedies. My father was paralyzed for the last three years of his life by a flu shot. We know that the flu vaccine is both dangerous and ineffective. My daughter and I have never gotten one, nor ever will. But I don't know enough about cytokine storms to say anything about preventing them or treating them. I'll try to find out more about them.

What Dorit says is just gobbledygook. It is not an intelligent or informed remark and it does not deserve examination. Her patron Prof Offit used to declare the infant immune system so strong it could withstand 100,000 vaccines or 10,000 (as as sop to being reasonable) vaccines, which might beg the question, if it was that good, why do we need vaccines? The purpose in both cases the attempt is simply to confuse. But fundamentally it is just thick.


One more. Dorit was incorrect in saying that fever is a bad thing. It is usually a very good thing, the end result of millions of years of the immune system working out many ingenious strategies to fight disease. It is also true that in a very small number of cases a fever CAN go too high and cause brain damage. Usually in those already immunocompromised, from heat stroke or poisoning of various kinds, but not always.

Some infections are very bad and should be avoided when possible, such as yellow fever or Ebola. But the immune system HAS to learn by doing, has to cope with real infections and overcome them. Infants and the immunocompromised should be protected from infections when possible. But colds, flu, and the childhood diseases, even pertussis, flu, hep-A, and rotavirus, all have a valuable role to play in most cases and should not be avoided in healthy individuals over the age of two or three. Homeopathic nosodes (for prevention) and remedies are available for those who need them.


This is a link to what I quoted a few minutes ago, about the cruel irony of healthy young adults having the highest mortality because of too vigorous of an immune response. I think I got the name of the website wrong. Again, there are innumerable sources for this information.

There are many aspects to these issues, and there is no one correct action to take which will avert all serious problems. We'd probably all agree that getting all the vaccines recommended is definitely an unwise course. However, it's not the case that even being well-nourished and vaccine-free is always going to provide good health and a long and happy life. And it will not prevent all disabling or fatal courses of the VPDs. The best anyone can do is to be well-informed and to realize that any decision we ever make about anything may turn out to lead to bad results.


I just found this, but there were many similar search results. This was at fitnessforlife dot com. And I would add that while it says that this is unlike modern (seasonal) flu viruses, we've had the H1N1 and H3N2 flus recently which both resulted in high mortality among young adults with previously healthy immune systems. Homeopathy had a very high success rate in treating the 1918 flu. I'd also take high doses of vitamin C and recommended doses (not too much) of vitamin D. I would say that it would be good to have Dr. Neustaedter's book The Flu Guide on hand and buy the remedies and supplements he recommends to have on hand in case someone in the family gets a severe case of the flu. It would be unwise to dismiss Dorit's statements out of hand. It would also be unwise to get the flu vaccine. There are better ways to handle the flu, and in normal cases, getting the flu is very beneficial in the long run.

There are two aspects of the immune system that can lead to serious disease. One is when an immune system is too strong, which is what Dorit is referring to, and another is when it is too weak. I was going to say too strong and also confused, but that's not the whole story either.

In the Spanish flu of 1918-19, the largest death toll was among young, previously healthy adults between twenty and forty. They died because their immune systems were so healthy and vigorous, attacking the flu pathogens with such ferocity that it caused their lungs to fill with fluid, leading to pneumonia and consolidation of tissue in the lungs, and often death from asphyxiation. It was similar during the H1N1 flu of 2009 and in the H3N2 flu nearly two years ago. Another aspect of this phenomenon is autoimmune disease, when the immune system mistakenly identifies a foreign substance which it rightly or wrongly perceives as a threat, but if the molecular structure is similar to that of one of its own organs or tissues, it can attack them in a chronic way. And the immune system vigorously wages was on itself, on the basis of mistaken identification. I think that's what Dorit is referring to, and it's correct as far as it goes. But you have to consider what gave rise to the autoimmunity: it is the result of a confused immune system. It is often vaccines (see Vaccines and Autoimmunity, editor Yehuda Schonfeld). Or, in the case of the Spanish flu, it is the result of a disease which the immune system has never seen before, a new disease, and it responds in a way which is not directed appropriately. Ebola was a similar new disease, with outcomes often similar in that they were the result of misdirected immune responses.

The other aspect is when the immune system is too weak, immunodeficient. As in AIDS. It is usually the result of malnutrition, or having been worn down by a prolonged chronic disease.

The best explanation I have read of this was in Don Hamilton's Homeopathic Care for Cats and Dogs, p 395 et seq. "With chronic diseases, the primary factor is immune system malfunction; this may be either immune system overactivity or immunodeficiency. In overactivity diseases, the immune system attacks elements of its own body because of heightened activity and problems discriminating between host and foreign tissue. We call these autoimmune diseases, and they include such conditions as lupus, autoimmune hemolytic anemia, pemphigus, most thyroid diseases, and the feline eosinophilia diseases (rodent ulcers, eosinophilic granuloma, etc.)...

Immunodeficiency diseases, however, we often misunderstand and place in the same category as acute diseases, as an organism may be associated with these diseases. The organism is not the cause of disease in most cases, though. It may be only a symptom, or it may worsen the disease once present, but exposure to the organism in the majority of individuals does not produce disease. Immunodeficiency is the primary cause and must be present for infection to occur, as these types of organism are not highly contagious. Additionally, while the organisms are capable of severe damage to immune-compromised individuals, healthy individuals generally remain unaffected by the organism. Illness must, therefore, precede infection. Attempts at vaccine protection will thus fail, as the true cause is not addressed.

Some examples of immunodeficiency diseases in cats are feline leukemia virus disease, feline immunodeficiency disease, feline infectious peritonitis disease, and possibly the upper respiratory diseases. Immunodeficiency diseases in dogs include Lyme disease, the kennel cough complex, and possibly canine parvovirus. Examples in humans include the AIDS complex and possibly hepatitis B."

I would add that infants of all species require time to develop their immune systems: while they are still undeveloped, they are essentially immunodeficient and prone to develop the diseases and outcomes of immunodeficiency. The elderly of all species also lose a lot of the strength of their immune system. I would also add meningitis to the list of the diseases of immunodeficiency. Most children have developed immunity to the local types of meningitis by the age of five. It is also true that genetic predisposition also plays a role in which systems are the most apt to be affected by both types of immune malfunction.

Dorit was partially correct. Numerically there are many individuals who will be harmed when they get usually relatively mild diseases like measles or flu, because of either one of the types of immune malfunction. I'll look for a reference about healthy people's immune systems sometimes leading to death from their overly vigorous response. It's still true that the immune system HAS to be educated and trained by real-life practice, preferably after the age of three or so, although you usually can't pick and choose. You CAN shelter young children at home and be mindful of what they are exposed to. In the vast majority of cases, in healthy, well-nourished individuals, the best thing for lifetime health is to go through the childhood diseases between three and ten years old. The fever is a very beneficial training experience if it is not artificially lowered with Tylenol, Ibuprofen, aspirin, or even cool water.

God help protect us from those who believe themselves to be GOD.


Well, a strong immune system not being a good thing, is a common belief of a person with pretty bad allergies.

Doris has allergies? LOL! Well I wonder if the Dorits of the world know that there is a good study that found delaying a DPT vaccine for a baby will reduce allergies in the child later on in life.

Allergies are horrible, and cause much suffering.

So she is thinking that having a strong immune system, is an immune system that is reacting to everything; like dust, sycamore pollen, ragweed, gluten. It is so busy fighting phantom microbes that it does not have any energy left to fight off the real microbes, like flu. So, Dorit thinks we should get a flu shot which will probably cause more allergies. I need my Nasacort close at hand even talking about allergies. She is confusing a strong immune system with a sick immune system; a misdirected immune system.

My husband thought this for a while too when he and the kids were both sick. He use to say our family just has too strong of an immune system. I kept saying a sick immune system.

That is a different point of view from someone that does not understand biology.
