Undue Burden: Abortion Rights V. Vaccination Rights

Antibiotics Fail Decrease Use. Vaccines Fail Increase Use.

Nature light bulbNATURE WINS.
SCIENCE IS IMPERFECT.
THE ROAD TO HEALTH IS PAVED WITH PROFITS.

We are allowed to talk about antiobiotic overuse and the terrible outcomes. We are not allowed to talk about vaccination overuse and the terrible outcomes.

From Vox.com:

Our antibiotics are becoming useless

“Common diseases are becoming untreatable.” That’s the blunt warning issued on page one of a major new United Nations report on drug resistance. If we don’t make a radical change now, the report says, drug-resistant diseases could kill 10 million people a year by 2050.

Drug resistance is what happens when we overuse antibiotics in the treatment of humans, animals, and plants. When a new antibiotic is introduced, it can have great, even life-saving results — for a while. But then the bacteria adapt. Gradually, the antibiotic becomes less effective, and we’re left with a disease that we don’t know how to treat, perhaps more dangerous than its predecessor.

From Child Health Defense:

Failure to Vaccinate or Vaccine Failure: What Is Driving Disease Outbreaks?

The topic of vaccine failure is not new, having been discussed since the earliest days of smallpox vaccination—and modern-day descriptions of vaccine failure continue to multiply. There is also growing evidence that vaccine manufacturers have made false claims about their products’ effectiveness. In MMR-related lawsuits against Merck, former Merck scientists avow that Merck “fraudulently misled the government and omitted, concealed, and adulterated material information regarding the efficacy of its mumps vaccine in violation of the FCA [False Claims Act].” According to a report by Huffpost, the company’s “far-ranging” fraudulent activities were designed to help Merck monopolize the mumps vaccine market, even though Merck “expected outbreaks to occur” as a result of its shoddy vaccine. Merck has also been accused of fraud and negligence related to other vaccines.

A recent article in U.S. News says that many families’ desire for vaccine choice stems from “accumulated distrust of organized medicine, federal regulators and pharmaceutical companies.” Although U.S. News does not say so, this “accumulated distrust” is well deserved!

Rather than tarring and feathering individuals who, for a variety of well-founded reasons, do not vaccinate—or worse, forcing them to inject their children with vaccines that are not only ineffective but harmful—our legislators should be investigating the powerful entities that are trying to hide vaccines’ inability to deliver what they promise.

Jenny,
A very clear and definitive comment. I am increasingly of the opinion that vaccines have been developed for the common childhood diseases so that mothers could go out to work. Once the economy becomes dependent on the female workforce (say, 50%) it becomes disastrous to the local economy, or the national economy, if an infectious disease sweeps round the population, and at least one child from most families keeps their Mum at home for a couple of weeks. As someone who could never be described as a feminist, I do accept that many women really want to have a career, and they should not be prevented from doing so. However, I think the feminists made one of many mistakes in campaigning to allow women to become identical to men, when we could have been changing the status quo. One solution would be to develop a shift- pattern workforce, with perhaps two six or seven hour shifts per day, six days a week. Parents and other carers could choose different shifts, meaning that someone was always available to stay at home if necessary. And perhaps there would also be less unemployment!
Rtp, very interesting comments. I heard many years ago that in Russia something called, I think, phages were used against bacterial infections, as a way of fighting them more "naturally". I heard recently it's been tried here (UK), so we're catching up! Maybe this has some resonance with your position.

I don't know about John but antibiotics have saved my life on at least 3 occasions. Without them I would have died from sepsis. Unfortunately their overuse has resulted in both bacterial resistance and in some cases new and dangerous strains of common bacteria evolving including haemolitic E Coli.

Most vaccines are targeted at viruses, not bacteria. One exception is the Pertussis (whooping cough) vaccine, which has recently evolved a vaccine resistant strain, presumably the same process which has produced resistant bacteria such as MRSA. I had whooping cough in the 1950s, as did my siblings. We all recovered from this and all the other 'childhood diseases' including measles, mumps, rubella and chicken pox. Our parents regarded these as no big deal, but were grateful for vaccinations against those real killers Diptheria, Polio and Tuberculosis.

Having the actual diseases, provides immunity for life and it is now time for Governments to take their heads out of the sand and accept parental non-vaccination choice for their children. Mumps for example, is far better contracted in childhood, All the mumps MMR vaccine component has done is defer the disease until adulthood, when it is far more serious. All those much hyped measles cases in the US and UK resulted in no child deaths. The young asthmatic adult who died during the Welsh 2013 outbreak was already very ill with severe asthma, and had been turned away from the hospital. His Mum insisted he had been vaccinated against measles as a child. It seems the measles vaccine too, is wearing off during adulthood.

It should also be remembered natural measles and other childhood diseases, not only confer immunity for life, the mother's antibodies also protect her baby during the first year of life. We have paid a high price for vaccinating against what were previously a childhood 'rite of passage', soon over and forgotten about.

By the way John, once you have finished reading Lanka's lecture you will understand why I keep on hammering the point that our greatest enemy - by a trillion miles - is the belief in contagion.

John, abx *do* suppress symptoms (which people assume means that they have worked). Now, in emergency situations (eg severe swelling of the respiratory tract) suppressing symptoms may well be vital (that doesn't mean you can't use alternatives to antibiotics but you should definitely use something). But antibiotics don't and can't work the way we think they do.

Stefan Lanka explains this much better than I do, but the phenomena that I have pointed out are real enough and demonstrate the logic of my claim. Here is the link showing that abx can be ineffective even when it still kills the supposedly culpable germs:

https://www.mdedge.com/pediatricnews/article/38175/amoxicillin-failure-strep-throat. Note the following quotes from the authors who simply don't understand their observations:

“Penicillin failure in eradicating strep throat has been increasingly documented beginning in the 1980s, rising from just 5% in the 1950s to approximately 35% today.”

And then this: “Traditional antibiotic resistance does not appear to be the reason. In fact, there is absolutely no in vitro resistance of group A streptococci (GAS) to penicillin or amoxicillin (or cephalosporins).”

Here is another link that shows that abx can reduce (temporarily) autism symptoms. Why on earth would they do that? Not even doctors blame autism on germs (although give time they probably will) so why would abx have any impact on autism symptoms? http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10921511

Again, the doctors are clueless as to why. But it should be obvious by now. It's easy to suppress symptoms: antibiotics, analgesics, vitamin C, colloidal silver - lots of things can do the job. But permanent healing can only come from the mind.

This is an interview Stefan Lanka gave. In case you have never heard of him, Lanka won a German High Court case whereby even the brainwashed judges agreed with him that there was no valid proof of measles (or any other) virus. https://abruptearthchanges.com/2017/11/17/dr-stefan-lanka-the-history-of-the-infection-theory/

It is an astonishing interview.

New antibiotics will always be needed to combat the inevitable resistance that is predictable.

However, the problem is new antibiotics take a lot of money to develop and carry liability risk while vaccines are easily livensed at much lower cost and without liability.

So yeah, less antibiotics, more vaccines.

Antibiotics cure acute infectious disease and make you healthy, vaccines make you sick while preventing diseases that cant be cured with drugs like antibiotics (no profit there as the immune system does the curing) and needing to take other medicines to treat the chronic illness vaccines cause

The enemy of Big Pharma is a healthy immune system and drugs that cure disease. Chronic illness is their bread and butter and profitable vaccines keep the supply high

Laura: Thank you for that link. We are rapidly becoming a totalitarian state. John Rappaport., one of the few journalists I trust, has had his blog silenced by Wordpress. They won't be able to censor legislative press conferences, or will they be that brazen? Wouldn't surprise me. The good news is that Minnesota, and other states, are considering this resolution. The NVCIA is clearly in violation of both the Fifth and Seventh Amendments of the Constitution, but then the courts, like Congress and the Executive branch are utterly corrupt, and have been for longer than I can remember.

I have found at critical times in my life both for myself and those about me that antibiotics have been very effective. Do you have any documentation for your claims?

Rtp

I know your point is the hypocrisy of the situation but it is worth pointing out that bacteria are not actually becoming antibiotic resistant.

That's a myth that germ theorists perpetuate to explain the fact that antibiotics simply don't work the way they're supposed to.

Abx resistance was claimed to have happened immediately after penicillin was first used to explain the fact that there were always 20-30% of abx recipients whose symptoms didn't improve. That was 90 years ago. We still use penicillin today and it still has the same failure rate.

Abx do kill germs. Abx do suppress symptoms. But abx do not suppress symptoms *because* they kill germs.

And other observations confirm this. You can culture bacteria from people whose abx did not "work" and you will find the same abx do indeed still kill the germ.

Conversely, you can culture bacteria from those who did feel better following abx and find that that abx does not even kill that bacteria - so how did it work?

Abx trick the body into reverting to a trauma state. Analgesics do basically the same. This trauma state is typically unnoticed as the symptoms are not unpleasant. Because we are no longer in pain we think we are doing better but we have simply restarted the process. The body will go back into healing later on and will do it from a point of greater weakness.

Tldr; don't use antibiotics because they're not "working" for the reasons you think they are. In emergency situations, suppressing symptoms is prudent but there are better ways.

Wish it were just the legislators who "should be investigating the powerful entities that are trying to hide vaccines inability to deliver what they promise". How about the media? How about academia? How about public health regulatory agencies, CDC, HHS, IOM, etc? How about medical professional organizations AMA, AAP, etc? How about PEER REVIEW JOURNALS? How about VAERS? How about the VACCINE COURT?

No doubt the legislatures are a powerful entity integral and desperately needed to continue the 'delay, deny, hope they die" strategies used by tobacco, Monsanto, vaccine industry … but .. they are not the only CREATURES LIVING WELL WITHIN THAT SWAMP OF PUBLIC HEALTH CORRUPTION.
