Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA 28), the member of Congress who wrote to the heads of Google and Facebook calling for the censorship of “medically inaccurate information about vaccines (that) surface on the websites where many Americans get their information,” has reintroduced a House Resolution making the claim, that, “there is no credible evidence demonstrating that vaccines cause life-threatening or disabling diseases in healthy children or adults;” (a claim repeated in the letters to Google and Facebook.) Schiff’s House Resolution (H. Res. 179), “Recognizing the importance of vaccinations and immunizations in the United States” was introduced last Wednesday, the same day as the “Vaccines Save Lives” US Senate hearing.
Schiff is willfully ignorant of the most basic facts about vaccines and vaccine policy. Every package insert for every vaccine in America contains information about the possible injuries the Federal government admits could occur to healthy adults and children. Schiff seems to be unaware of the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program, the "vaccine court," that considers thousands of cases of vaccine injury every year and has paid out more than $4 billion in damages. One also has to wonder if Schiff is aware that the vaccine industry and pediatricians demanded, and received, complete liability protection from any injury caused by a vaccine?

Oddly enough, Schiff, perhaps America’s leading advocate for online censorship, was a founder, along with then member of the House Mike Pence, of the Congressional Caucus for Freedom of the Press. Schiff also chairs the House Intelligence Committee, which held a hearing on Feb. 26. on “The Rise of Authoritarianism.” “The world has witnessed the steady ascendance of authoritarian leaders and illiberal governments in recent years, and the existential challenges these regimes and their underlying ideologies pose to liberal democracies demand our full attention,” Schiff said in a statement describing the hearing. The House has much more important things to do than waste time on factually incorrect resolutions drafted by a willfully ignorant hypocritical proponent of censorship.
House Resolutions, if passed, do not go to the Senate or the President for consideration and adoption as a law. They are statements of the consensus understanding and preferred policy positions of the members of the House of Representatives. Nonetheless, House Resolution 179 enshrines as preferred US House of Representatives policy demonstrably incorrect assertions that can and will be easily refuted by those who are better informed than Schiff, and who are aware and concerned about the growing number of documented vaccine injuries in the United States.

@cia, @MARK WAX: In yesterday's edition of the NYT, most of the letters to the editor were about vaccines, in response to various articles published between March 6 and March 10. Surprisingly, of the 5 vaccine-related letters, two (40%) were antivax! This feels like progress!

At the risk of diluting our message about vaccine safety and the lack of support for the victims, I think we would do well to place a permanent box on the right-hand side if this home webpage, directing the casual visitor to Professor David Healy’s website to point out that this Malleus Maleficarum orchestrated by the unholy trinity of Pharma/Politics/Mainstream Mass Media affects ALL aspects of health-care. At the moment most of the public are not joining up the dots and seeing the bigger picture.

With a comment at the top of the box along the lines of – Medical Safety isn’t just about vaccines.
We have an easier chance by standing united with others who want safer healthcare.
It is most probable that casual undecided visitors have more than one relative that has had problems with prescribed medications but haven’t realized these were due to the same corrupted system. This extra inclusion on this site might be all the need to decide one way or another on where they stand on the vaccination safety issue. Joining up dots is hard work – we need to help the ‘undecided’ by doing it for them. So they can more easily see that Science is good but the prostitution of science is bad.
We have to be realistic. After all these year of trying to untie the Gordian Knot without any success- we now have to join forces and cut it.

Crimes against humanity. Its not even limited to Vaccines. GMO foods, glyphosate, 5G, gene edited live stock, all rolling ahead without adequate or any independent safety studies. All regulated by departments where there is a revolving door with industry and rampant conflict of interest.
Someone asked why the Republicans dont do anything as if this if this is a partisan issue. Pro industry politics jeopardizing health is a bipartisan joint effort

So have vaccines now become the new determiner of the master race? If you handle them you're "healthy" (even though you're now laden with adjuvant loaded immune cells that could set something "unrelated" off in the future). If not, oh well... Hurry on your defective way, dump your blood, sweat, and tears into pharma's coffers (ha, ha and you think vitamin C might have saved you instead, no, we don't even need to try that to know that we don't want to try that, now you need half a dozen drugs, so obviously you'd have been a goner without that disabling vaccine) and be grateful you're still alive and have vaccine "herd immunity" around you, oh wait, but you've got to take some more (vaccines) anyway because you're still breathing and we in the worshipped medical system have determined you can tolerate a few more...?

I don't understand why Republican Senators and Congressional Representatives aren't speaking out against this. Has Fox News spoken out? Why hasn't Trump weighed in? The Senate is still under Republican control. Can't they hold hearings as well?
Another thing I was wondering about...I'm sure the 500 parents who came to testify at the hearing also contacted their Congresspeople about being shut out. I'd be curious to know what the response was.

No irony in Schiff promoting the 'Freedom of the Press': it is a false flag enterprise. It enshrines the sacred rights of the powerful to bully and lie.

The NY Times is advocating both censorship and practicing it. They "removed" my comments and those of others after having posted them earlier. The only "objectionable" information was that they cited actual Government data and scientific study that did not support mandatory vaccination.

Rep Schiff's call for censorship of any information regarding vaccine concerns was accompanied by a Foxnews "breaking news' headline report … repeated over three days … claimed the same RUSSIAN bots and trolls that "attacked our country" during the last Presidential election … are now heavily engaged in sowing discord and distrust of vaccines by using various internet sources .. such as .. Facebook and twitter .. to name just two.
Odd this item about RUSSIAN efforts to sow discord and distrust regarding vaccines did not gain .. outside of Foxnews .. much national attention. Wonder why not .. "censoring Russian bots and trolls" ,, while at the same time "censoring all information regarding vaccines" … sounds like something the vaccine industry would fully support.
