Point of View: Mandatory vaccines are bad medicine, bad politics
Note: We are surprised yet pleased to see a mainstream site (NewsOK from Oklahoma) allowing this book review/editorial. I laughed when the ad that popped up was for flu shots at Yale New Haven. Good grief. The Bots sure are smart! So is Dr. Steven Lantier. Let's hope he doesn't lose his job over writing this editorial.

TO anyone interested in understanding myth verses fact regarding vaccines, I would recommend the relatively new book, “How to End the Autism Epidemic” by J.B. Handley. Here are a few examples:
Vaccines are absolutely one of the causes of autism. Proof? There are thousands of documented cases of vaccines given one day, and regression into autism the next. The same aluminum adjuvant contained in many modern vaccines has been found in autopsies of autistic individuals. Also, the U.S. Vaccine Court believes vaccines cause neurologic injury. To date, the court has paid over $3.6 billion in claims.
The incidence of chronic diseases among children is epidemic — at 54 percent and rising. Most of these diseases are gut and autoimmune related. So is it just coincidence that vaccinations are designed to hyper-stimulate the immune system? Is it also coincidence that these are the exact same changes that happen to lab animals when they are tested with vaccine material?
There is actually not much science behind “herd immunity.” The vaccine rates in the United States for Hepatitis A (9 percent), Hepatitis B (24.5 percent), pneumococcal (20.4 percent) and influenza (43.2 percent) are many times below their threshold, yet we haven't had outbreaks of these diseases for decades now. Actually, vaccines often have the opposite effect. Not only can they — and often do — make people sick, it is well documented that vaccinated persons have passed on to others the same virus they were being protected from.
Last point: Viruses and bacteria live in us at all times. The overwhelming majority are not only good, and necessary for our existence, but their constant mutations are mostly for our benefit.
The burden of proof for safety and efficacy falls on the company that markets the drug, not the 2 million plus victims spread across America. You know the deal...two pivotal studies - prospective, randomized, double blind, placebo controlled. A long-term study with neurological endpoints would be helpful in this difficult situation.
Merck doesn't have this and never has.

So, you want a study that says that these brain injuries will later manifest into autism?

@Matthew, show one honest high-quality COI-free attempt to answer the question of vaccine-autism causation that has been allowed to even get off the ground. Maybe even try showing the honest battery of science that should be there backing up the very vaunted claims that "vaccines save lives," "the benefits far outweigh the risks." No point in pointing out to people who know the system is gamed against them through years of experience of watching what is done and not done that the bar is higher for establishing vaccines risks than it is for establishing the "vaccines saved us" oligarchy tale.

Show one peer reviewed study that is not filled with holes that shows vaccines cause autism otherwise stop promoting bad science and bad medical advice.

Martin, This link is from the UK NHS website. We do not have chicken pox vaccine in UK as it is not considered a serious disease and it is far better to get it when young.
As far as your comment re 'the autism link is BS' is concerned, this is offensive to those of us who saw our children/grandchildren regress after a round of vaccines.
I do not understand why you even bother to make such naive comments on a website that has intelligent readers who have done thousands of hours of research on this subject, mostly after their children received lifelong disabilities.
You are out of your league.

Encephalopathy may be accompanied by a medical progression of an array of symptoms including autistic behavior, autism, or seizures."
The United States Government told you vaccines cause autism.

Taking a look at the graph of chicken pox deaths in the US. Not only did they rise in 1987 but also earlier.... so what exactly is your point?

All, there is no rational conclusion for "disease" mortallty, when most all U.S. national mortality bases its figures on such as several hundred thousand "reported" cases of those and/or registered" per year from a miscontrued database.
In fact, for decades, US virtually =ALL four milion children (from early 1950s through the 1970s) incurred all the typical diseases:easles, mumps, chickenpos, pertussis, while mortality was plumenting toward single digits --- BEFORE vaccines, these 4 miilon per year infants grew healthy and fit with good nutrition.

Here is pertinent info as to varicella cases/deaths in the U.S.; the Graphs tell a lot.

1) Note cases and deaths abruptly rose in 1987, AFTER the 1986 Congressional Act voided any vaccine manufacturers' liability (I know, the chicken pox vaccine wasn't approved until 1995). Thus, my own question is whether a new onslaught of the other newly-protected vaccines actually caused chicken pox to more severe?
2) The Graphs cite chicken pox cases way, way below the actual number of annual cases, in truth numbering 4 million each year (the number of new babies each year for decades); with virtually every child coming down with (unreported) chicken pox thus being truly 4 million a year (like measles, mumps, pertussis, on and on).
Summing up, so many disease stats are obviously off-base to begin with, such as measles, chicken pox, mumps, etc. as they state ONLY those cases being "officially reported" --- so all stats based on this clearly inaccurate "reporting."are not truly meaningful. Also confounding every disease stat is the extremely toxic effects of all the other vaccines, as in 1986 and ongoing today.
AND, of course there is unwitting misreporting by doctors who believe a sick child cannot have any disease he/she has been vaccinated against; another monkey wrench tossed into true disease stats.

WOW! Thanks for the link, but the paper, "the Oklahoma "whatever"" has comments behind a PAY WALL! I found Dr. Lantier's article to be VERY WELL written, and reasoned. I saw no need to comment or add to it. THEN, I saw, and clicked on the next-day "rebuttal" by that "Dr. Kuhls". Read that, too. My God what a mish-mash of pro-PhRMA propaganda and talking points! Psychobabble and gobbledygook. Kuhls' "logic" was slipshod, circular, and borderline incoherent. Not really logical at all. I wanted to respond to some of the more outrageous ridiculous nonsense that Kuhl's said, but, that PAY WALL! And, Kuhl's basically ignored several good points in Dr. Lantier's article, which he could have responded to. That is, IF Kuhls actually had anything intelligent to say, beyond parroting the PRO-VAX PROPAGANDA....

I don't think we need to worry about Dr. Lantier losing his job over this letter. He works for the Surgery Center of Oklahoma, which is headed up by libertarian surgeon Keith Smith. Below is some information about the Center from their website:

I lent a copy of this excellent book to a friend. At first he read it as a 'duty' (he is a good friend). After the first couple of chapters he was hooked and asked me loads of questions.
He uses our local library very regularly and, when he finished 'How to end the autism epidemic', he asked if he could slip it into the health section there. As I still have one copy left I agreed. He rang me this morning to say that it has gone. Obviously we have no way of knowing who has it now but, hopefully, it will be spreading the word to someone who was previously unaware.

This past Sunday .. my local paper had lengthy article reporting on a recent .. dire .. foreboding .. "outbreak of measles" in our County .. a few dozen I believe .. with a heavy emphasis on those who are not fully vaccinated being a major contributing factor to the 'outbreak".
This is not the first time .. nor will it be the last … when I try my best to contact the editor who wrote this article .. asking explanation for the truly stunning "generational outbreak of 54% of children diagnosed with "chronic diseases .. most of which are gut and autoimmune related"? I will of course expect to receive no response .. none .. nada .. zip.
JB's excellent book .. "How to End the Autism Epidemic" .. should be mandatory reading for the editor I will be contacting .. if for no other reason than to provide the editor an opportunity to challenge, refute .. or otherwise dispel J.B.'s well researched and documented case for ENDING THE AUTISM EPIDEMIC.
