But you love him. But you love her. And it's not his fault. Her fault. It's not. It never was. It never will be. It's not your fault either. It never was. It never will be. Autism will kick your ass.
And you love him.
And you love her.
Her.
Her.
XOX Hang in there. Kim
It really sad that our government will continue to put innocent children and hardworking families through this unpredictable disorder just for money. What's worst is that the government is quick to play a major role in giving this disorder to our children and then turn around and provide limited resources to assist families in helping our children.

All you parents of autistic children are kick ass parents. because they autism has kicked your asses and they are still going strong. Respect.
Autism is government approved child abuse. For which, future governments will issue apologies for the impacted. But what about the children today.

Thank you for this! This is exactly how I feel right now, as I am so tired that the thought of getting off the couch is a lot!
My beautiful, sweet 14 year old vaccine injured son is pacing for hours screaming. He wants to bite me, but he doesn’t. He puts his mouth on my arm and tells me with his sad eyes how much pain he is in at this moment.
Thank you to Kim, and all the Autism parents that write these articles and give me a bit of energy, and the feeling that I am not alone in this surreal experience that we call “Autism”

Benedetta,
If you 'hope to keep a lot of these things at bay', you may be interested in reading Dr Carolyn Dean's book, The Magnesium Miracle. She puts forward a very good case that most of us are short of magnesium (I don't think you are short of aspirin). A 2009 WHO report also backed up what she says about magnesium and heart problems. Incidentally, the shortages of magnesium in mothers, she contends, can be passed onto our offspring, making them also more susceptible to problems and onslaughts to their bodies. Regular blood tests give little indication of true levels of magnesium in our bodies.

Benedetta,
You need to be careful. Yes, low-dose aspirin will prevent strokes etc. caused by blood clots, but it INCREASES the risk of hemorrhagic stroke, which my mother had. I take two forskohlii capsules a day: it's very good for heart health and normalizes blood pressure. In the morning, because it makes my permanent insomnia (mercury poisoning) even worse if I take it after noon. There's also hawthorn in many forms, which is also good for your heart: it was standard treatment for many kinds of circulation and heart problems until they started making pharma drugs based on it in the '50s. Please don't take statins: a friend took them for her high blood pressure for a short time, but stopped because it caused liver problems. That was YEARS ago, but the liver problems are still there. I recommended that she take milk thistle, which will normalize many liver problems.

So many heartbroken parents and families. I wonder everyday if this will ever come to an end.
Do not judge the bereaved mother.
She comes in many forms.
She is breathing, but she is dying.
She may look young, but inside she has become ancient.
She smiles, but her heart sobs.
She walks, she talks, she cooks, she cleans, she works, she IS, but she IS NOT, all at once.
She is here, but part of her is elsewhere for eternity.

I myself started taking an aspirin a day. .81 mg of aspirin and even more if some one weighs over 150 pounds a day. I hope to keep a lot of these things at bay. Apparently aspirin effects an enzyme that thins the blood where as those darn ibuprofen, (which two of mine take daily for the last 20 years), or Naproxen which my Mother takes daily), Salsalate which my Dad takes daily) all effects that same enzyme to thicken the blood. All are in the same class as Vioxx. Geesh.

I see finally that we gifted our children not just with out right vaccines, but we gifted our children with our own immune systems that are inflamed.
I have had several mothers around me that I have befriended that have died of a stroke, had heart attack, survived breast cancer, have diabetes, died of Lou Gehring's disease, and have Parkinson disease.
So, take care of yourself too. Your girls needs you. Scary thought that you can not get sick, and sure can't die.

"And no one will listen. DAM! Don't give up warriors. The truth has to reach a tipping point where all of a sudden everyone will know."

It will happen a lot faster if we stop calling it autism, and start calling it what it really is. Which is child government sanctioned child abuse.

A well aimed kick,
but we rise,
staggering,
to protect our kids-
Blood dripping
from an arm.
We take the pain
to ease theirs.
We will protect.
We will heal.
We will help.
With our last, gasping breath
We will make a difference.

Thank you dear Kim
Perfectly said
Perfectly worded
Perfectly true
Thank you
My ass is kicked
I am down
I get back up
Like a bozo the clown punching bag
Because I love her
I get back up ass kicked and sore
