Introducing Children's Health Defense a Robert Kennedy Jr. Initiative

There are some important changes coming up in our organization that we’re very excited to share with you.
We know you realize that there is no greater crisis facing our world today than the chronic disease epidemic that has sabotaged the health of our children. When we first learned that mercury, one of the most neurotoxic substances on earth, was being injected into newborn infants, the World Mercury Project team was shocked beyond belief and crusaded for this dangerous practice to stop.
Through our advocacy work we have come to the realization that our children diagnosed with autism back in the 1990s were the tip of the iceberg with regard to injury, and that mercury was one of many harmful exposures driving the chronic disease epidemic that is plaguing our children.
Today, World Mercury Project is relaunching with a new name: Children’s Health Defense (CHD). We will have the same dedicated staff and board with Chairman, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Vice Chairman, JB Handley leading us. We will continue to publish our popular online newsletter Kennedy News and Views. If you already follow us on social media, you will automatically be switched over to our new Facebook, Twitter and YouTube accounts in the next couple of days.
As our new name implies, CHD will have a bigger, bolder mission to end the childhood health epidemics by working to expose causes, eliminate harmful exposures, hold those responsible accountable, seek justice for those injured, and establish safeguards so this never happens to our children again. As part of holding those responsible accountable, CHD plans to introduce multiple legal initiatives in an effort to defend the health of our children and obtain justice for those already injured.
With over half of our nation’s children suffering from one or more chronic health conditions—and our federal agencies doing nothing to assist or even acknowledge there’s a problem—our collective efforts to end these epidemics are critical. I couldn't agree more with Laura Hayes' comments as well as David Weiner. I need to once again add and point out that we went down the mercury road in 1999. Those of us involved for that long, and longer, know that was a mistake. It is also a mistake to compromise and advocate for anything but total, pure medical freedom.
I am glad to see a supposed broadening of mission, but as Laura pointed out: "I have serious concerns about what some in our movement are/will be advocating for, things such as...a return to the 1985 schedule..."pre-screening" (think of the ramifications if you/your child/your grandchild "passes" the pre-screening)...the continued use of some form of exemptions, as though anyone should have to do anything other than say "no thank you" when they want to decline or refuse any medical treatment or procedure for themselves or their child..."
We are at a critical time in history and I very much share Laura's concerns as a 23 year veteran of this war. We have far more than enough reason, scientific information, international and Federal codes, treaties, agreements and so on to simply do what should have been done over 30 years ago, ban vaccine mandates. I said ban mandates, not vaccines, though that would be even better! All else is a waste of time at a time when we have none. Tick tock....
Mind blowing that well over 225 years ago, Benjamin Rush saw exactly what the result of not including medical freedom in the Constitution would lead to.....we are there. Why are we wasting our time fighting for anything other than the complete freedom to say NO and stopping this Holocaust in its tracks? Imagine if we had socialized the idea of banning mandates all the way back in 1986 as opposed to compromising? Look where compromising has gotten us. Why repeat that mistake? Question people's motives. Everyone has them. Please don't assume they are the same as yours. We would do well to learn from history here as opposed to repeating it, again.

Thank you Laura and David Weiner, I agree with all your comments on this subject. In particular I think the sentence "Faulty premises lead to faulty conclusions" sums up my feelings. I find many of the other points people have made interesting (and I've been trying to think of a better title without success!) I believe Jonathan Rose's premise that all the diseases being addressed by the new organization commence in childhood is not borne out by the science. Look at the HPV vaccine which has killed and injured many healthy young women and men. And Dr. Wakefield has described ME as adult onset autism. You could say Alzheimers is Senior onset autism, and I could go on. What we need is an end to all vaccination, and this is going to require a complete paradigm shift in the approach to medical science, and , of course, a draining of the swamp. This is why I think the topic needs to be drawn much more broadly, and I personally would like to see all anti-pollution campaigns becoming affiliated in our mission. We need to stop pretending that all of the damage being done by poisons is unrelated to all the rest. We need recognition of the incompatability of toxic chemicals with human and other life.

Faulty premise/faulty conclusion:
"Folks will not leap from "Wait, there's a problem," to "OK, let's end the program."" So, let's not stop vaccine mandates and vaccines outright, let's continue to permit mandates that people be injected from fetus to grave with that which we know is causing grave harm and premature death. Not to mention, let's not address the fact that a government program prescribing pharmaceuticals for the entire populace, or any portion of it, is wrong in and of itself!
Folks WILL make the leap if leaders in our movement would stop:
focusing on just one horrible aspect of vaccines (e.g. mercury in vaccines) when the list is seemingly endless, and continuing to grow as evidence mounts and knowledge increases;
putting forth the notion of "greening vaccines" (e.g. simply remove Hg and Al and all will be well);
putting forth the notion that there is a spread out/delayed/friendly schedule that is "safe" for children to receive (common tactic based on nothing other than personal opinion, perpetuates the vaccine propaganda);
putting forth the notion that vaccines should remain on the menu of choices despite the fact that not one vaccine, nor the myriad, haphazard combinations in which they are regularly administered, has ever been tested according to the scientific gold standard, and no vaccinated/unvaccinated comparison study has ever been required, commissioned, or consulted by government regulatory agencies;
putting forth the notion that more studies are needed...news flash...the needed studies needed to be done BEFORE any vaccine was ever approved or recommended...and it should go without saying that no vaccine should ever have been mandated; furthermore, the evidence is in, vaccines cause injury, both in the short and long term, and across generations, and they cause premature death;
putting forth ideas that won't fix the problems with vaccines, or stop the vaccine carnage (e.g. pre-screening before vaccinating, as though there are some for whom it will still be acceptable to inject with the health-and-development-destroying ingredients in vaccines);
putting forth half measures as acceptable (e.g. advocating to fight to keep and/or expand exemptions, instead of advocating to demand the banning of mandates, as nothing other than a simple "no thank you" should always suffice when one wants to decline or refuse any medical treatment or procedure for oneself or one's child, most especially in a free and ethical society);
and, not admitting and promoting the full truth of the matter (which results in defending the indefensible)...i.e. that vaccine "truths" have been manufactured since the inception of vaccines, that situations are contrived to promote both the further sale of vaccines and the increased mandating of them, that vaccine whistleblowers have been silenced in various ways since the inception of vaccines, that corruption exists at every turn with regard to vaccines, from manufacture, to mandate, and beyond...and, perhaps most importantly and obviously, that health does not come by injecting heinous ingredients made in heinous ways into human beings from fetus to grave.
What would happen if ALL the leaders in our movement demanded an immediate ban on vaccine mandates (since they violate a most fundamental human right, not to mention they make both the ethical practice of medicine and informed consent impossible), and an immediate moratorium on vaccines (since not one has been approved properly or ethically, and therefore should not be on the market)?
What would happen if ALL the leaders in our movement stopped trying to find some way to placate both sides...i.e. past, current, and future vaccine-induced-injury-and-death victims and their families, and at the same time, vaccine supporters, promoters, and profiteers? Why are they doing this in the first place? Who is actually benefitting when this tactic is taken?
We must reclaim what is rightfully ours...specifically, unfettered medical choice freedom and unfettered parental rights. That won't happen if we don't demand them, and/or if we are willing to accept anything less. Compromises in either area are not acceptable, and should not be promoted as such, advocated for, or accepted.
Analogies of faulty premises leading/faulty conclusions:
Folks will not leap from, "Wait, Pintos are exploding upon impact" to "Let's stop driving Pintos right away." So, let's not stop their sale and use outright, let's continue to permit the selling and driving of them.
Folks will not leap from, "Wait, thalidomide in pregnant women is causing miscarriages, severe birth defects, and premature deaths" to "Let's stop prescribing thalidomide for pregnant women." So, let's not stop the use of it outright, let's continue to prescribe it for pregnant women.
Folks will not leap from, "Wait, we found dangerous levels of lead in our drinking water" to "Let's stop letting our kids drink that water." So, let's not stop the lead-laden water supply outright, let's continue to let if flow from the taps.
Folks will not leap from, "Wait, that person is a known pedophile" to "Let's stop letting our kids go play at his house." So, let's not stop the playdates outright, let's continue sending the kids over to his house.
Fact:
People WILL act on truthful information. Truth RESONATES. It might have to be repeated numerous times, and by numerous people/sources, but it does resonate.
Partial truths, misleading statements, and propaganda perpetuation, PARADED as truth, unfortunately, also resonate...at least initially, until effectively countered and corrected. That is why speaking the unadulterated, unfiltered truth at every opportunity is imperative. Propaganda, especially with today's many means of mass communication, can become pervasive. It must be fully and forcefully countered and corrected at every opportunity, not timidly or partially addressed, nor placated at any level.
Some things in life are black and white, no room for gray (e.g. teaching your children not to run out into traffic). An immediate ban on vaccine mandates and an immediate moratorium on vaccines are both black and white issues, with no room for gray.
Who of us has time or desire to wait for this Vaccine Holocaust and medical fascism to end?

The pattern here is that when there is a failing government program, all of the establishment-minded people want to rush in with their ideas about how to "reform" it. They never raise the obvious question: maybe we would be better off with out it altogether?
If there were only minor problems, and no massive violations of people's rights, reform might make sense. But when you have an unmitigated disaster on your hands and tyrannical abuse of parents and children, then it's a different story.
If the NHS crucified Wakefield for daring to suggest that kids get the separate measles, mumps, and rubella, instead of the MMR, I doubt that Handley's proposal to roll back the schedule 23 years will be greeted any more favorably.
Opportunities to make changes to entrenched programs do not come along every day. We should make the most of them. Clearly, (supposedly) removing mercury from childhood vaccines did not achieve the desired effects. And half-measures like these never will. As Thoreau said, there are a thousand hacking at the branches of evil to one who is striking the root. We should set our sights on abolishing the government vaccine program. We may not be able to accomplish all 4 of Laura's aspirations right away, but that is the direction we should be headed.

It would be great to create a repository of stories of children who have been negatively affected by their environment, if it also included a detailed documentation of those children’s vaccines. Only then can we have a complete picture of all exposures and only then can we even know the extent of other exposures that area not vaccine related. Only a completely unvaccinated child exposed to other toxins, and showing chronic conditions can we be sure that what we see is NOT almost exclusively attributed to exposure to vaccines alone and exacerbated by other environmental exposures. What a great “retrospective” study this would be.
My guess is that you won’t get many completely never-vaccinated takers because they are, for the most part, free of these chronic conditions. So then you will have no control group by which to compare your MyChildToo stories. Not vaccinating will get you 90% closer to eliminating chronic illness in children. Let’s start there.

Really? Will this be the solution/part of the solution in his new book on how to end the autism epidemic? Let us remember that it is the 1985 schedule that led to the passage of the 1986 Act. Ahh, the pre-screening "solution", as though there are some children for whom it would be ethical, wise, protective, or health-inducing to shoot them up with improperly tested and unethically approved vaccines which include known and admitted toxins, neurotoxins, carcinogens, poisons, viruses and retroviruses of both human and animal origin, aborted fetal material, DNA from other humans and other species, food proteins that can’t be broken down outside the GI tract, anti-freeze, detergent, antibiotics, and who knows what else, as not all ingredients are required to be listed under the guise of "trade secrets".

Personally, I do not want to have to continue to wonder and worry how my young adult children are going to protect themselves and their children, should they have them, from further vaccine harm, from forced vaccinations, and from escalating and expanding medical tyranny. Rather, I want vaccine mandates to be banned, immediately and forever, and vaccines to be immediately eliminated from the marketplace and from use, for the reasons given above.
It is my sincere hope that all in the movement will boldly and unequivocally demand that which is needed:
- an immediate ban on vaccine mandates
- an immediate restoration of individual and parental rights to make any and all medical decisions for oneself and one's children, without any government interference, coercion, cost, or penalty
- an immediate repeal of the 1986 Act
- an immediate moratorium on all vaccines

I am kind of disappointed with the new emphasis because I think the main cause of these childhood illnesses is still mercury. Most of the little kids who show up in our Andy Cutler chelation support groups still have mercury as their root problem. Chelate them and they get better. And mercury is the toxin that can cause such a huge diversity of symptoms. Other poisons tend to act in one specific way. I don't think there is one other environmental poison that could cause the diversity of symtpoms we are seeing in our children.
The other poisons are nasty add-ons. But the fundamental, mother of all poisons, is still mercury.

This seems such an urgentaly needed initiative!
I'm thinking of the possibly already scientifically disproven t-shirt slogan worn by a group of nurses, "vaccines cause adults" dismissing all the chronic conditions young adults now deal with, the shortening life expectancy of the rising generation, and further all those who did not make it into adulthood because of one or more vaccines.
I'm also thinking of the circumstances we observed with CA SB277 which at some point aimed to mandate vaccines also for teachers and parents who assist on school grounds in addition to our children. If I understand things correctly, the state teacher's union came out in opposition to the bill, but compromised to taking no position once the teacher mandates were removed. What does that say? What does it say further that perhaps several other short term compromises on keeping exemptions for those already in the system facilitated the bill's passage?
I also recently reviewed part of the first The Truth About Vaccines episode and listened again to Jennifer Margulis relaying that she has talked with doctors, some at the CDC, who are not following the CDC schedule for their own children, but administer it to their patients and only speak to her about this off record to protect their jobs (but apparently they either need to talk about it, or hope that their anonymously talking off record will somehow move the needle in some way).
Are many of us "adults" deep down just using children (especially other people's children) as career stepping stones and/or human shields of our own bodies and our deep down not really trusted false world views?!?
I'm further hearing in the back of my mind the phrases "demographic winter" and "you ain't seen nuthin' yet..."
But I hope for and want, up front, even if it comes with some dark buyer's remorse, to see a robustly healthy and intellectually sharp, emotionally sound rising generation ... and hopefully some major unwinding of the global corporate oligarchism currently founded upon human exploitation ... and pray further for some major reversal of the injuries already sustained and otherwise respectful and truly healthy lifelong care for those from which we've been positioned to most learn the need for all of this from.

Let us give credit for "Credit That Is Due" -- as RFK, Jr. takes up (to share) the baton accurately targeting toxic vaccines as The Epic Scourge of our children that is disintegrating our families and National Society.
Such credit goes to Barbara Loe Fisher and her husband and their medical expert allies whom 25+ years ago created National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC), published books, and are still energetically active and located in Virginia just outside Washington, DC. Their website is fantastic and comprehensive.
It's perfectly logical that RFK, Jr. et al. have expanded past their initial focus on vaccines' neurotoxical mercury focus, and into the spectrum of all the other terribly toxic substances/chemicals in ALL the vaccines.

I think it's a good idea that RFK has changed the name of his initiative...and broadened the initiative. It's very, very important to address the threats to those who are currently injured and to future generations. The name doesn't bother me as much as other issues.
I agree with part of what Grace has said. I am the mother of an adult son who is profoundly impaired by autism. I can say, after being in the trenches for 25+ years and trying every treatment in autism out there, is that once autistic children become adults, they are forgotten.
Disagree? How many research projects focus on helping adults with profound intellectual disability learn and grow? How many research projects focus on curing adults with autism? (There are some Aspies who want a cure too) How many research projects even focus on finding effective treatments and therapies for adults with autism? The lower-functioning you are on the spectrum, the less anyone cares. For those severely impaired, it's drugs to restrain them and group homes to contain them. Although I believe in RFK's mission, I want more. I want something for the adults who are injured too.
I think I can pinpoint the time when the professionals (teachers, doctors, etc.) in my son's life stopped talking about his potential...sometime before puberty. And it's not just professionals...try getting therapy, treatment, or even "babysitting" for someone who's an adult (my son can't be left alone). There seems to be a perception that if it's not fixed by puberty, might as well forget it. Never mattered how much I talked about neuroplasticity or other research that shows that brains and nervous systems can continue to heal and grow throughout life. I would try to get more challenging goals on his IEP, only to be told "you don't really think he can do that." I would insist, and then the teachers would put the goal on the IEP and never address it all year.
Hard to reverse these issues unless we actually give them some attention. Heck, we might learn things from research into helping adults that would benefit children too. Identifying causes matters, but so does treatment and therapy and education. I think adults could actually make a lot of improvement - but I don't see anyone caring enough to put in the time, effort, money, and research. Attention to children matters, but so those who are already injured shouldn't be ignored and left behind just because they've grown up.

It is understood that severely sickened children grow into sick adults if they survive childhood. The focus is on children because they are the most vulnerable, the most preyed upon, and they are our future. All successful efforts to protect children from the enormous list of environmental poisons will benefit all.
Speaking of our future, just saw this Utah news report on how the North American airline industry is short 127,000 pilots right now. Seems there are no pilots to replace retiring boomers. Why would that be?

From my perspective, our movement opens itself up to such a criticism when it tries to ban specific ingredients and attributes all (or most) of the harm to such ingredients.
Not that there is anything wrong with pointing out the harm of certain ingredients. That is a good way to educate people about the dangers of vaccines. But ultimately our agenda must be more holistic: rolling back the root cause of the damage, which in my view is the government vaccine program.
The burden of proof (of benefit and safety) lies with the vaccine promoters, not the parents or patients. It is not incumbent upon us to present an airtight case for exactly how vaccines cause each and every harm that we are seeing. In fact, it is most likely impossible to do this, when you consider that there are other factors that are likely contributing, including glyphosate and EMF's. Government and industry are effectively conducting multiple, uncontrolled experiments simultaneously.

The reason RFK jr et al chose the name they did was due to the fact that "All Governments Lie" was already in use. Given that pharma and the chemical industry have so much influence in government to the point the bureaucracies like the FDA, CDC, EPA, FCC all serve those corporate interests, the those interests are now a form of government known as a Corporatocracy.
I'm curious Grace, what name would you have selected that would have included everyone whose ill-health at whatever age, could be attributable to collective behaviors of medical associations and corporations who put profits above safety. We may need to have coffee over this discussion.

Unfortunately the more inclusive “Human Health Defense” lacks the same compelling protective response. Most people understand, or work toward, getting infants and children off to the best possible start. However one’s own progeny is always considered a child, no matter what age.
I am grateful that Kennedy and his team have expanded their mission, though sad that societal circumstances dictate they must. One specious accusation against vaccine safety advocates is that they keep moving the goalposts by adding more toxic ingredients to their ban wish list.
“Next it’ll be aluminum,” I heard a Minnesota public health attorney whine sarcastically too many years ago. Well, YES - if it’s harming the brains and immune systems of infants and children.
Such reflexive resistance to health-improving change tragically ensures more children will begin their lives with brain damage, or die far too soon. Yet these public health officials are appointed long term, some even for their remaining lifetime… until their bosses are given sufficient reason to toss them out of office.

Hi Grace,
People make mistakes when thinking up names all the time. ( Some of the really bad names babies get called is evidence of that!) But someone choosing a company name you feel isn't inclusive enough isn't the same as a decision to exclude.
At the point where they say; we don't want your help, we don't want to hear from you, then ; you're officially excluded. Until then, I would consider that you are a much a part of their organization, with the same goals,and the same willingness to help, as you want to be.
Imo, if people perform actions that exclude, that matters. Names they choose for business organizations; not as important. And they may have chosen the words "children's health" as a strike back at all the organizations that say they are promoting "children's health" whilst really promoting "mandated vaccines for all" I am glad they are including more than just mercury, as potentially health damaging, now.
Have always been a bit of a believer in "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" , until proven otherwise.

I believe that this name change is a great improvement and I appreciate the work that Kennedy is doing.
I think that it is a big mistake to give too much emphasis to any particular element causing harm (though I recognize that some toxins, including mercury, should be a serious concern).
With respect to vaccines, government is the most toxic ingredient in the mix. The process by which (supposed) therapeutics are developed and approved and marketed and recommendations/mandates formed is deadly.
If the process is sound, then the results will be good. Hopefully, this initiative will give due consideration to this angle.

@Grace Green- You make some excellent remarks. I too was a bit disappointed that people with Alzheimers and pre Alxheimers ,for example, would be excluded. I am also a person who believes (with plenty of evidence) that many health issues of today relate to mercury. To digress a bit, anyone will be absolutely astounded to see the lists of symptoms that have reduced and vanished in people who had the mercury amalgams removed from their teeth.
Nevertheless, I see many advantages in turning towards the children. We are faced with a huge percentage of young mothers who will do absolutely what their doctor tells them in pregnancy (flu vaccines and DTP vaccines) and vaccinating their children after they are born. We have to get the news out that each parent must look after their own child. Doctors are not likely to do it for you. When a child develops asthma, allergies, leukemia, or diabetes, which parent realizes that it may be due to vaccines ? Even doctors seem to be unaware that health disorders in children are on the rise. So, maybe this name change is for the best, and I personally am hanging my hopes on RFK and his crew, and wish them well- a thousand times well.

Surely you're being unfair to RFK Jr., Grace. He quite rightly calls his organization Children's Health Defense, because all the illnesses he is fighting onset during childhood. Unless these health problems can be reversed (something I wouldn't rule out), then yes, people will live with them for the rest of their lives. That goes without saying. But they all start in childhood, and that's where we have to identify and eliminate the causes. I wish RFK all the best in this noble crusade.

Yes, I think it is a great idea to change the name; as our understanding of just what is being put in vaccines broaden, and to include all injuries and not just the worse, "autism".
On a personal note; what a really small world we live in. Years later a Kennedy is the moving force of justice again.

I'm hugely grateful for the efforts being made on the modern health problem by so many talented and knowledgeable people. It's true that this has been caused by environmental pollution including vaccines and other "medicines". It therefor puzzles me that they didn't sit down and think of an appropriate name for the new initiative, based on the nature of the problem. Toxins in the environment and going into our bodies do not just affect children. And, once injured, children do not remain forever children. If we call this a problem of childhood, not only do we exclude the many adults, young and old, who are also suffering, but we give the impression that these health problems are all temporary, that the children will "grow out of them". I think this might even feed into the often unspoken belief that autism, ADD, ADHD and the many other names that are given to vaccine injuries, are nothing but bad behaviour caused by bad parenting. This is why the language we use is so important. It's a pity that, when they were thinking of changing their name, the Mercury Project didn't consult more widely. Too late now, so I suppose all us adult Aspies and auties and people who've been injured by vaccines in adulthood can consider ourselves excluded.
