Dachel Morning Wake Up: Vaxalot vs Camelot
By Anne Dachel
Jan 15, 2017, St. Louis Post Dispatch (editorial board): Trump is flirting with disaster with choice to head vaccines panel
Asking Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to lead a panel on the safety and scientific integrity of vaccines is akin to naming climate change deniers Scott Pruitt to head the Environmental Protection Agency, Ryan Zinke to top the Interior Department and Rick Perry to command the Department of Energy….
Kennedy has been writing and speaking for more than a decade about supposed links between vaccines and autism. He has also toured the nation testifying against state vaccine mandates.
The theory has been widely discredited by reputable scientific studies…
They are not scientists and lack the skills to independently verify the safety of vaccines. They must rely on qualified scientists to make that judgment. Yet it’s exactly those scientists’ judgment that Trump and Kennedy are calling into question.
Kennedy has spearheaded efforts to roll back child vaccination laws. He ignores studies from respected scientific organizations, including the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, that say vaccines are safe and a national vaccine program is needed.
…Vaccines save lives. Study the science and turn down the political noise.
My posted comment:
Two percent of our children now have the neurological disorder called autism. Health officials can’t explain it. Children mysteriously lose learned skills, including speech, and regress into autism following routine vaccination. Health officials call regression a mystery. They say autism is just “better diagnosing” of a genetic condition that’s always been around, yet no one can find a comparable rate among adults.
Officials have lots of studies which the press constantly talks about. If anyone ever looked, they’d see that each and every one of them has ties to the vaccine makers. Hundreds of people at the CDC have conflict of interest waivers because they’re also being paid by the companies they regulate. The same people who approve, recommend and promote the vaccine schedule, are also in charge of vaccine safety. They literally have oversight over themselves.
Robert Kennedy, Jr is going to look into charges of fraudulent science and corruption at the agency charged with the health of our children, including statements by a CDC whistleblower. Instead of demonizing Kennedy, news outlets should be investigating what’s really going on at the CDC.

If the newspapers have nothing to hide about the safety of vaccines, why won't they cover the "CDC cover-ups" of....links of vaccines to autism as disclosed by William Thompson and Brian Hooker? Are they afraid of "stepping out of line"? Oh please! Their credibility is already becoming lost with their readers! They CAN regain some of it.....by doing their jobs! Is not the title "Investigative Journalism" about....investigating?
Let's all call one of the major newspapers and ask them to do their jobs and start reporting the TRUTH about vaccines and not rely on discredited and dishonest agencies who have as their task to both PROMOTE vaccines and make them safe at the same time. That's all Kennedy is trying to do and all Americans should stand behind Trump on this excellent decision. We may not all agree on his other cabinet choices, but on the person to head the vaccine safety panel? His choice is.... PERFECT for parents and children a like.

Well, the whole mountain of lies is crumbling badly. Now is no time to get discouraged. Let's let them reveal themselves and be revealed as corrupt criminals. Let us mind our manners, push forward with the truth, and not give an inch. Blessing upon you all, and as always, thank you AoA!

Anne,
Your comment is up, although I didn't check to see if it was edited. Only 4 comments in an article published 2 days ago. Somehow I don't think they published them all.
Thanks for all you do.

@ Anne
Strange, I've just used the link and yours is one of four comments. Best wishes.

A couple of weeks ago, a showing of "Vaxxed" at the local library was cancelled due to weather. It's playing again this Thursday. (01/19). I had a chance to call in to the local talk-radio station. The *one* person who called in first - and I'm GLAD he did! - really wasn't as knowledgable about the issue as I am. (IMHO!). So I was able to expand on, and clarify a couple of points. First, he was confusing Dr. Andrew Wakefield, and Steven Thompson(sp?) from the CDC.
If vaccines were LESS profit-driven, then we would see LESS CENSORSHIP & PROPAGANDA. To me, the lack of serious discussion, targeting individuals such as Kennedy, above, and the repetitive, half-truths & "talking points"-style "news", *ALL* points out at least serious questions that are not being answered!
THANKS, AoA!

So, Robert Kennedy Jr has been at this for a decade. Linda is right we need a calendar with the champions are on the monthly pictures. I did not know he had been speaking out that long.
Could put the criminals' pictures down at the bottom in a smaller picture though -- all in orange and peaking out between two bars.

Again .. it seems our major media will expend all their outrage and angst at the appointment of RFK to chair a commission to investigate vaccine safety and scientific integrity.
I haven't seen any editorial or column denouncing the formation of the commission itself .. all they do is criticize RFK being appointed to chair the commission? Why is that? Why don't these editorials and columns express similar "outrage and angst" that our president elect believes there is ample evidence that such a commission is not only necessary .. but .. long overdue?
I believe it is because the editor and columnists "do not want to make a public defense to protect the "status quo" .. where the US .. once had the lowest rate of "infant mortality" .. now has a higher "infant mortality" rate than 35 developed nations .. at the same time .. where children in the US have exhibited inexplicable .. dramatic increases .. in chronic auto-immune disorders that WERE .. and .. REMAIN .. far less common in all children who receive LESS vaccinations in their early childhood.
Much easier for editors and columnists to attack the "messengers" .. Trump, RFK, Wakefield .. than the "message" the commission is "necessary and long overdue".
