Dachel Wake Up: WaPo on Doctors Who Force Vaccine Compliance
Nov 12, 2016, Washington Post: Parents are insisting on doctors who insist on vaccinations
Pediatricians around the country, faced with persistent opposition to childhood vaccinations, are increasingly grappling with the difficult decision of whether to dismiss those families from their practices to protect their other patients.
Doctors say they are more willing to take this last-resort step because the anti-vaccine movement in recent years has contributed to a resurgence of preventable childhood diseases such as measles, mumps and whooping cough. Their practices also have been emboldened by families who say they will only choose physicians who require other families to vaccinate.
...Last year, Childhood Health Associates of Salem became the first practice in Oregon to require all of its families to vaccinate their children fully and on schedule for the diseases most easily spread from person-to-person contact.
“Our policy happened because it simply did not seem ‘just’ to permit the kids who could not be vaccinated to face dire risks because another child’s parent ‘disbelieved’ vaccination,” Helm explained. “We did not want anyone to get measles because they passed through our waiting room.”...
For years, the official position of the AAP was not to dismiss vaccine-resistant families. But recently, the AAP recognized what many individual pediatricians have been wrestling with on an ad hoc basis. This summer, it announced for the first time that dismissal is now an acceptable option if doctors have exhausted counseling efforts....
The AAP found that pediatricians are increasingly likely to dismiss families who refuse vaccinations.
Well, I guess there soon won't be a need for exemptions. It seems doctor are laying down the law to parents: Either comply with vaccines OR you're out!
Of course Lena Sun at the Washington Post doesn't bother to tell us that all these vaccine zealots have no liability for injury from their vaccines--and YES, vaccines carry risk, and no one can predict which kids will have a reaction. Unlike any other medical procedure or product, we're supposed to assume that ALL kids can be lined up for the ever-increasing vaccination schedule.
This no-tolerance for vaccine exempting parents comes from the same doctors who stand around scratching their collective heads when a child has seizures, develops bowel disease, or stops speaking after being vaccinated.
I haven't taken my daughter to a doctor for treatment in ten years, since she had a sinus infection after a cold when she was six. Three perfunctory check-ups so she could do therapeutic horseback riding three summers. If either of us were desperately ill, we would go to a doctor or the ER, but we never are. We do not go to the doctor for a flu or bronchitis. And whether it's because of the years of breastfeeding when she was small or the avoidance of vaccines and drugs, she's as healthy as a horse and never misses school, one of the reasons vaccine pushers say makes it so necessary to vax to the max: can't have them miss any school.

I think parents would be well-advised to buy books like Aviva Jill Romm's book Vaccinations that have a lot of advice of caring for children with different symptoms, cough, fever, rash, etc. at home. Neustaedter's The Holistic Baby Guide and Ditchek and Greenspan's Healthy Child, Whole Child. Josephson's Homeopathic Handbook of Natural Remedies and Homeopathic Solutions Made Easy are all great books. Then they can treat most problems at home and avoid contagion from the doctor's office and prescriptions for dangerous drugs. These books point out symptoms of dangerous complications which require a trip to the doctor or the ER. They could always take the child to a family practice or internal medicine doctor rather than a pediatrician for something like a serious bacterial infection. Who needs pediatricians?

I have an idea. Compare the health of kids born into these fascist forced vaccination practices with the health of unvaccinated kids born into ethic practices. What percentage of the children 8 years old and younger have allergies? asthma? diabetes? epilepsy? autism? recurrent respiratory and gastrointestinal illness? cancer? paralysis? Then look at the teens. What percentage have any of the above now including syndromes associated with HPV vaccine? What is the mortality rate comparing these practices? SIDS? Why not take a close look and see? The stats are already right there. All we need to do is look.

Laurie,
"But I'd still like to see them once a year if you are ok wit that. Just for a check up."
Is she going to pay you for this social visit?

Perhaps President Trump will provide the AAP with their own “tobacco executive moment.”
Line up a few dozen AAP members and ask them, under oath, if they follow the CDC vaccine schedule... Did they provide their own child with a “mercury preserved prostitute vaccine” on the day of birth ???
Ask them if they will … RIGHT NOW … take the full set of two month baby shots. (shots on a tray ready to go)… perhaps for extra credit the shots could be adjusted to their body weight which would be 60-80 doses.
...perhaps for an inside joke hold down an actor and start injecting them with 80 doses of saline while the AAP looks on ...
Should get very interesting in Washington DC very soon.

Whelp....I was "fired" from one doctor practice and found another who tolerated my views but didn't agree with them. The wonderful Harvard educated pediatrician saw me last summer and asked me why they hadn't seen us in two years. I said, " Well, no one has been sick." and she asked in disbelief, " Nothing? No ear infections? No sore throats, colds or rashes?" Yeah....none. NONE. My freakishly healthy 7 and 9 year old are doing well thank you very much. She just smiled and said, " Yeah, your kids are always very healthy, it's awesome. But I'd still like to see them once a year if you are ok wit that. Just for a check up. " I agreed that would be fine because she clearly has finally reached a point of understanding who we are and what we are about. GOOD HEALTH.

I live in MA so there are quite a few Christian Scientists about. I have never met a child with autism whose family practices Christian Science. I have also not heard of Christian Scientists dropping dead from an assortment of diseases, so obviously the vaccines are not as great as claimed or they'd be dropping dead like flies because they don't use them. Nor are the unvaccinated such a threat as claimed, or, again, Christian Scientists would be dropping dead like flies and everyone around them would be suffering. Anytime a doctor or researcher or dimwitted reporter uses scare tactics, bring up Christian Scientists and see how they respond.

I apologize for repeating recent post .. but .. I think it is well worth repeating in light of unwarranted .. self-righteous pediatrician's .. who babble on and on about .. "not wanting anyone to get measles because they passed through our waiting room".
If an UNVACCINATED CHILD presents such a "dire risk" .. why does Johns Hopkins Patient guide warn the "immunocompromised to .. avoid contact with children who are recently vaccinated" .. and to ... "tell friends and family who are sick or have recently had a live vaccine (such as chicken pox, measles, rubella, intranasal influenza, polio or smallpox) NOT TO VISIT?
Is the pediatrician's office any "safer" for immunocompromised children" .. while children who "just received their MMR" are walking past them .. than John's Hopkin's hospital wards?
Indeed, according to Sally Fallon Morrel, president of the Weston A. Price Foundation ..
“Evidence indicates that recently vaccinated individuals should be quarantined in order to protect the public.” Scientific evidence demonstrates that individuals vaccinated with live virus vaccines such as MMR (measles, mumps and rubella), rotavirus, chicken pox, shingles and influenza can shed the virus for many weeks or months afterwards and infect the vaccinated and unvaccinated alike. Furthermore, vaccine recipients can carry diseases in the back of their throat and infect others while displaying no symptoms of a disease. Both unvaccinated and vaccinated individuals are at risk from exposure to those recently vaccinated.
Sally continues:
"Vaccine failure is widespread; vaccine-induced immunity is not permanent and recent outbreaks of diseases such as whooping cough, mumps and measles have occurred in fully vaccinated populations. Flu vaccine recipients become more susceptible to future infection after repeated vaccination."
Hopefully .. this will be the last time I feel compelled to repeat this comment .. but .. admittedly .. I do get exercised when I hear these disingenuous pediatricians prattle on about how "just" it is to expose their patients only to children who have been recently VACCINATED.
