Bullying The Elderly: Flu Shot Nurzis
Below is a FB post from a friend of AofA. I asked if I could run it in full. Have you been bullied? Can you imagine the elderly person who could withstand this browbeating by a medical professional? On what planet is this taught in nursing or medical school? The dog catcher would be fired for using these tactics....
To all my Autism Parent friends who are Pro Vaccine Choice and/or Anti-Vaccine:
I went with my mother this past week to her routine monthly blood work and mini check up appointment at her Dialysis Clinic (she is in End Stage Renal Failure; has Peritoneal Dialysis 7 night a week at home - done by me), and we were confronted by the Nurse Clinical Manager regarding giving my mother the Flu Shot.
I have NEVER experienced so much medical bullying in my entire life as I did with my mom about this Flu Shot (and I'm a high frequency healthcare consumer due to not only my mother, but my Medically Fragile son who also has 9 pages of active Dxs, including Autism).
I said all the right things, asked all the right, tough questions and got unbelievable answers.... such as, if my mother refuses the Flu Shot she has to:
1). Sign a paper stating that she has refused it against medical advice.
2). She has to wear a mask inside the Dialysis Clinic anytime she is there and there are other Unvaccinated patients present.
3). I too, as a Caregiver, who brings her and am involved in her appointments, will have to wear a mask when other Unvaccinated persons are around, if I am also not vaccinated for the Flu.
We listened and were engaged in approximately 20-30 mins of heated discussion about the facts, specific patient population necessity, and true efficacy of said Flu Vaccine...which all amounted to serious pressure and bullying without the Nurse knowing her facts nor having read the Manufacturer's insert for the vaccine she was pushing so hard. When I asked if she had read the insert, she responded that she had only read a portion of it.
I promptly asked if she had a copy of said manufacturer's vaccine insert and could I have it. The nurse was polite enough to make me a copy. But, she then continued to direct her pressure and bullying towards my mother, saying, "You've always been vaccinated before. Try to convince Renée to allow you to get this shot. You are in a high risk population. You could end up going from Peritoneal Dialysis to Hemodialysis and be even more at risk!".
**SCARE TACTICS** There's nothing going on with my mom that even remotely indicates that she may need to be switched. Unbelievable!
As for being previously vaccinated, my mom never lived with me in years past and just always accepted and agreed to whatever vaccines healthcare workers told her she should have.
So, I asked my mother, in front of the bulky nurse, just exactly why she had always been vaccinated for the Flu and Pneumonia in the past, and my mother replied, "Because they always said that that is what I should do so I did it!". So I looked at this bulky nurse and told her that "This doesn't sound like informed consent to me! She has a right to INFORMED CONSENT, so we're going to take home the Manufacturer's Vaccine Insert and we'll be back for Clinic Day in two weeks and my mom can give you her decision then. Until then, you will not be marking her down as refusing nor will she sign as refusing any "recommended flu vaccine as it is not mandatory."
OH MY GOD!!!!!
We got into the car and I told my mother that it is against the law for them to demand people answer to whether they've had their flu shot or not and make patients/caregivers wear masks. FURTHERMORE, I advised my mother not to sign that she is refusing any vaccine especially when they've written it up as a refusal of a Medically necessary vaccination for her when it is NOT!

As follow up to our story, here is where things stand now:
-We have since gone back to my mother's Dialysis Center (Fresnisius) for her October monthly check up and were engaged by the same "bully" nurse from two weeks prior (sorry about the typo "bulky")...who also happens to the the Clinic Manager...once the "grunt nurse"? took my mother's vitals. Bully nurse was calm and simply asked my mother if she would be "receiving the Flu Vaccine today?" To which my mother responded, "No, I have decided not to get the Flu Vaccine and I feel comfortable with my immune system and with my family with whom I live which help keep me protected from getting sick in the first place."
*Drop Mic*
-Not another word about the Flu Vaccine was uttered from Bully Nurse's mouth for the rest of the visit.
-No one, not Bully Nurse, not the Social Worker (you know how medical establishments often love to sic those folks on you in high pressure scenarios), not the Nephrologist, NO ONE questioned mine nor my (also in attendance) best friend's vaccine status
-NO ONE mentioned the supposed official clinic "Mask Requirement" to prevent possible spreading of the Flu amongst the Unvaccinated population.
-NO ONE offered my mother any form to sign that she was refusing said Flu Vaccine.
-My mother's next mini check up and blood work appointment is next week and Bully Nurse tends to act much more haughty and in charge when the doctor isn't in for Clinic Day. So, we will see if Bully Nurse gets on her high horse an tries to trample on my mother's and my privacy and/or human rights or otherwise bully us further.
-I'm always down for the drama though. I pull no punches. I've taken Bully Nurse on once before my friends, for a completely separate issue in "her clinic" (barefoot in public places) and took her to school then too; Human Rights Act printed, highlighted, and I signed/dated the copy for her!
P.S. Don't mess with parents of the vaccine injured, who KNOW it was the vaccines and how it all happened!
P.S.S. Yes, I've heard Suzanne Humphrey speak about the renal effects of the Flu Vaccine. I am sickened and infuriated that highly educated Nephrologists are obviously contracting with national Dialysis Centers (of which there are only a few companies nationwide) to staff their clinics and treat what were once the Nephrologist's private office patients, and allowing this bullying and attempted mandatory vaccination. THE ALMIGHTY DOLLAR!

I have though read about that U.S. Surgeon General that did decide to stand up against the big tobacco companies, and the government agencies that was wrapped up with the tobacco companies. He was brave; he took a deep breath, had a spine, and took a chance that his career could be ruined, to do the right thing.
You think such men are often around?
You think valor, and bravery are regular everyday things?
They are not. They are rare and to have a the right - righteous person in charge at the right time is very rare.

Some fab articles on Age of Autism , I came across this by chance earlier this year looking fo up to date info for a good friend's grandson who had been evaluated properly at seven years old as being "on the spectrum"
I started my nurse training forty years ago this december and am totally horrified at the standards being offered to people in so many areas [choice is an allusion!]
My own mother Donalda was well and truly Vioxxed in 2004 yet the evidence was withheld that this medication was causing death and carnage in 2001 and was not withdrawn from market untill 2004
even today there has been no responsibility or accountabality acknowledeged for this .
surely there is somthing very wrong with lack of regulation ?

I am 60.
When I was as young as five; I was put to work pulling tobacco plants and listening to the radio.
In between songs like "Put your sweet lips a little closer to the phone" or "I've stayed around and played around this ol'e town to long - and winters com'in on" The announcer would site studies that proved that smoking was in fact healthy for you.
So go ahead and put a few little tripe comments in here .
But you must understand who you are talking to. A parent that has witnessed her children's injuries. One immediately and the other - well when she all grew up she had bipolar from her vaccine injuries. Oh, and I grew up listening to tobacco studies.

Please everyone, acquaint yourselves with the new CDC regulations which are about to be passed. Our rights to medical freedom are about to be lost. Please go to Barbara Lowe Fisher's site and read about it. The (completely corrupt) CDC is about to grant itself the power to imprison people who they deem to be in a "pre-exposure" state. You may not get out of line, or turn around in stalled traffic on the interstate. You can be confined and forcibly vaccinated or treated. You can be forced to wear an ankle monitor. Our medical rights are about to be written off. (I personally will be going to the camp in all likelihood, because I made a public comment on the CDC's site.)
C'mon, how about we in the autism community wake up? It is now not just about autism, which connects us all. It is about losing the whole American way -- it is about losing our rights of freedom and self determination, and our parental rights.

I found this reasoning particularly mindless. By this reasoning the woman discussed in this article would have to (according to the nurse) wear a mask at the Dialysis Clinic because of the other "unvaccinated" patients. By virtue of this reasoning, all of the "unvaccinated" patients at the clinic, would have to wear masks, not just the woman the nurse was intimidating. Sometimes, I truly wonder if those in the medical profession had lobotomies during their incarceration in medical school. Friggin morons, most of them.

Six years ago I took my mother under my care because she was ill, needing a heart valve replaced. In the course of changing doctors (Primary Care Physician) and being referred to a specialist for open heart surgery, we too, ran into this stupid insipid push for a Flu Vaccine. Now, keep in mind the doctor wanted my mother to get a Flu vaccine and this in the month of June, 2010. My mother at that time was 83 years old and very savvy about vaccines and especially the Flu shot. She declined. The nurse turned to me and said; You will have to get the Flu shot, instead, in order to protect your mother." I declined, telling her; "Really? In the month of June? Do you even have a supply of vaccine for the upcoming 2010-2011 season?" That pissed her off no end. I finished with; "Even if you did, I would have to decline. I have never had a Flu shot and never will. I recall very clearly what happened in 1976. What a fiasco that was and continues to be!" I have also been approached in our local grocery store (there is a pharmacy in the store) and have been asked to step over to the pharmacy to get "My Flu shot." Like a shot has my name on it? Things have gotten way out of hand.

My response would have been simple. It would have been:
"Have you ever had a Complaint with the Nursing Board before, or is this going to be your first one?"
Then: " OK, let's get started - your full name please? Your Nursing License Number? Your immediate supervisor's name? What documents do you have to back up your claims? Are you offered any financial rewards for this program? Is this facility licensed by a State Agency? What Agency is that? Is this facility contracted to my health care provider? Can I get a copy of that agreement, please?"
I don't bluff.

All vaccines cause inflammation.
As in my son's first DPT shot caused his left ventricular to swell making it appear boot shape. They looked cause he developed a heart murmur right after the DPT shot. I took him back in to the doctor two days afterward. They said he was born with it, and he would always have it. But when I got the medical records, I found he did not have a heart murmur - they actually look for them as soon as they are born and many times from the day of his birth right on up to the day he came in to get his DPT shot - no heart murmur detected.
There was a good study that came out and then got buried that most heart attacks of the elderly followed close after a flu vaccine. Now all you will find is the flu shot prevents heart attacks.
If there is a chance for heart attacks because of inflammation - so can strokes. And for that matter inflammation when - on going is causing most of the diseases that we are seeing today like - inflammation to the pancreas - diabetes Or as this author's mother - has right now - damage to the kidneys. and on and on .
One 2007 study published in the Journal of Pediatrics, found that 85% of newborn infants experienced abnormal elevations of CRP when administered multiple vaccines and up to 70% in those given a single vaccine. Also, overall, 16% of infants were reported to experience vaccine-associated cardiorespiratory events within 48 hours postimmunization.[25]

Granted, influenza and norovirus in nursing homes and extended care facilities are miseries to be avoided -- but not at all costs, if one result is vaccine injury to a medically sensitive person.
It's hypocritical for nurses to point the finger of disease-spread blame at the unvaccinated. Nurses regularly spread infection through hygiene shortcuts, often borne of overwork from short staffing. Room after room of bedridden people getting sick... it doesn't take long to figure out that transmission path.
The "bulky nurse" description is apt. Caregiving, as autism parents know firsthand, is a high-stress occupation predisposing one toward various forms of self-medicating (overeating, smoking, or worse). Recently my bulky self was enjoying the ample seating at a surgical clinic that performs laparoscopic surgery; sadly two of the nursing staff there would qualify as bariatric patients.

When you go into the hospital and you are told to sign a paper, if the word biologics or a variation of that word appears in the text, then you could be giving the hospital permission to give you a vaccine.

Been there and failed on my daughter in her late 20s too.
It never - never - never ends.
Don't it just remind you of the Bible's description of the Mark of the Beast. Marked on the fore head/ hand - meaning messes with your thinking and you ability to move .
Can't buy or sell with out it.
As in you have to sign that you refused treatment, can't go to school, can't keep a nursing job, can't teach children , can't get dialysis , can't; can't; can't.
And all the Christians are thinking it is going to be some kind of microchip LOL!

Summary
A man in his 70s presented with bilateral, painful legs and feeling generally unwell following the seasonal flu vaccination. The patient had a background of B cell lymphoma in partial remission. His current medications included simvastatin. Initial investigations revealed rhabdomyolysis and acute renal failure. He was admitted to critical care for renal replacement treatment. Other causes of rhabdomyolysis were excluded and expert opinion agreed that the most likely cause was the influenza vaccination with the concurrent use of simvastatin. The patient's renal function gradually normalised and after several months the patient has regained full power in his legs.

If your Mom needs dialysis, she should absolutely not get any vaccines. Have you read Dr Suzanne Humphrey's book, Rising From The Dead? She is a nephrologist, and she first recognized vaccine injuries in her kidney patients.

My mother in law also developed severe pneumonia within days after flu-pneumonia vaccinations and died 4 weeks post vaccination. Vaccinations of elderly are premeditated medical murders.

Almost 3 years ago My father received both a flu vaccine and pneumococcal vaccine, at the same time.
He was 83 and became incoherent, not recognizing us, within a day. This lasted several weeks, and he slowly regained some memories of family, but died a few months later. I strongly believe those injections given together were the beginning of his end.
Those 2 vaccines Should not be given together, especially in the elderly. Many health care professionals do not know the full extent of the vaccines, or their ingredients, to realize the hazard to some people.
You are blessed to live close enough to be able to advocate for your mom. Keep going, and don't be bullied ! Hugs

I suspect your mother's renal failure is a result of her frequent vaccinations - i.e. injections of mercury, aluminum and plethora of other toxins. Renal diseases are skyrocketing now in US, as is post vaccination encephalopathy called autism.

My daughter(23 years old) encountered a problem last year. She had a bad sore throat and went to her university health office (she is a graduate student getting her PHD at a prestigious university). The nurse practitioner told her she had to get a flu shot in order to get antibiotic and a strep culture. She left without any treatment. She came home a few days later, very sick, with a horrible rash. She had scarlett fever!!! A reaction to untreated strep. She knew better than to get a flu shot when she was so ill. She told me the bullying was incredible. And she looks about 15 years old, so you can imagine her frustration when she is treated like a child. By the way, she still had to pay the copay. I am very frightened that she will be expelled from the program if she does not comply in the future. Ironically, she is getting her PHD in physics and studying connections in the brain. Practical applications would be for treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.

The path of least resistance is to tell them you got your flu/shingles/pneumonia/whatever they're pushing vax at the grocery/drug store or church/community vax clinic. Then the bully nurse can tick her box and will leave you alone. I have advised my elderly mother to do so. If truth mattered, vaccines wouldn't be legal.

About 5 years ago, my mother, then in her early 90's but still very alert, was ill and in the hospital. The nurse asked her if she wanted a flu shot. My mother said, "Don't you know that you are not supposed to give flu shots to people when they are ill?" The nurse replied, "Yes...but do you want one anyway?"
For my mother, that was the final proof that the medical establishment has gone bonkers regarding flu shots. She has not had a flu shot since. She will be 99 next month - still alert, no flu shots and no flu.

Also, beware signing any form (prior to surgery or otherwise) agreeing to "routine" care that may include biologics/biopharmaceuticals/(seems like there was another term I've heard that I can't remember and I wouldn't be surprised if they come up with many obscure ways to not say vaccination).
As this nurse demonstrated, giving medical procedures (with significant "nonspecific" adverse effects that a certain major type of "healthcare" system has benefitted from treating without having to investigate and acknowledge their causative role in for some time) without informed consent is quite routine now.

My aunt and uncle in their seventies went to their local doctor last week and he (without even asking them) had their flu shot needles already filled up and laying their on a table waiting for them. My aunt told my mother she had planned to say "No" to the flu shot this year but since he had the needles ready she didn't want to make a fuss and she went ahead and got it. She said he was doing that for ALL of his patients that day, getting the needles filled up and laying them out.
I'm guessing doctors get some kind of financial kick backs from Big Pharma for giving the flu shot...the same way pediatricians get $400.00 for every baby they fully vaccinate.

LET'S TRY THIS INSTEAD -->
I got out of the mainstream medical insurance world this year because it is far too expensive, I don't want to participate in mainstream medical care (unless I have an accident/trauma), and I never had any of my previous integrative/functional care visits covered. Who wants to pay a minimum of $8000/year and have no doctor/blood work covered? Certainly not me.
Instead, I moved over to Liberty Health Shares (LHS) -- a Christian Ministry that offers comprehensive "sharing" of medical expenses and catastrophic coverage of $1MM. This coverage is acceptable as an alternative to ObamaCare, so a covered patient will not be fined by the government. LHS seeks patients who have already adopted healthy lifestyles and want to use functional MDs, NDs, and this type of prevention and health intervention. I first heard about this alternative through one of the many free functional health webinars offered online. I appreciate functional medicine, the medicine of "why" and understanding root cause, rather than the overmedication offered by mainstream medicine that merely manages your disease symptoms. I appreciate recovery, not disease management.
I believe many more of us who do not buy into mainstream medicine -- with its harmful procedures like vaccines -- will want to research and consider moving over to this type of alternative health care coverage.

they've been pushing vaccines on the elderly for a number of years now. All the more reason for the ACA to find its way to the trash. Even Medicare and Medicaid patients are finding it more and more problematic every year. If something has to be signed for refusal, it is best to cross off what you don't agree with and write in your own words. So glad you were there with your mother.

I .. too .. as a senior citizen .. was RECENTLY confronted by "new regulations" regarding my vaccination information that requires I sign a form .. allowing doctor to "share" my vaccination record .. which can then be accessed at any time ... say an emergency visit to a hospital .. by any "health care practitioner" .. who then decides what vaccinations I am "behind in" .. and .. I presume .. will then take action to make sure I am "up to date" on my vaccinations.
Public Health officials are presently working very hard towards achieving their stated goal to have all ADULTS RECEIVED RECOMMENDED AND APPROVED VACCINATIONS .. BY THE YEAR 2020.
Trust me .. the Affordable Care Act provides opportunity for public health officials to REQUIRE adults be fully vaccinated .. or risk not being covered by the ACA .. if that ADULT suffers any supposedly vaccine preventable disease .. such as .. HEP B, A, C, on and on ..
They have warned us .. and .. we must understand they mean exactly what they say ,, which is:
ADULTS .. NO VACCINATIONS ... NO HEALTH CARE COVERAGE.
