James Lyons Weiler on A Frightening New Syndrome: Vaccine Risk Awareness

Wake up callNOTE:  Thanks to James Lyons Weiler for this post following the attempt to mandate Gardasil in Pennsylvania. And here's an article From Trib Live Allegheny County Board of Health won't pursue HPV .vaccine mandate

By James Lyons Weiler

PITTSBURGH, PA.  Local residents are wondering who to contact to report a sudden emergence of awareness in the risks of vaccination after a proposal emerged to the Allegheny Board of Health to consider writing a proposal to make HPV vaccination of 11- and 12-year olds mandatory for all who want to attend public school.

People who suffer from this condition, called “Vaccine Risk Awareness”, or VRA, report various symptoms including thinking for themselves, taking responsibility for their own health care decisions, and for those of their children, and various neurological symptoms such as having a brain capable of understanding that

  • >95% of all HPV infections are cleared w/in 2 years with no signs of cancers, or precursors to cancer;
  • current HPV vaccines only work on <10% of the HPV types circulating, of which there are around 100, and thus, contrary to claims by doctors and Merck, the vaccine cannot eradicate HPV infections;
  • the CDC’s own data show no net change in overall HPV infection due to the use of HPV vaccines in the US:
  • no study has ever been done that demonstrates that incomplete immunization via HPV vaccine lead to a reduction in cancer rates due to HPV;
  • throat cancer is reducing in the US at a rate of 2-3% due to a reduction in smoking (American Cancer Society);
  • the science shows that 1 dose is as effective as 3 doses at clearing the HPV virus types targeted by the vaccines;
  • HPV is not spread in the school setting, and if it is, someone is in big trouble;
  • HPV vaccines have been found to have 2X the rate of serious adverse events compared to other vaccines;
  • HPV vaccines have never been tested for carcinogenicity, however Merck’s data provided to the FDA show that women infected with HPV who receive the vaccines have twice the rate of the precursor conditions to cancer after vaccination;
  • babies who have breastfed from mothers who have recently been vaccinated against HPV have died, which is double the rate of mothers who were injected with aluminum adjuvant only;
  • thousands of young women have been killed or maimed by HPV vaccine;
  • the serious adverse events can include blindness, paralysis, premature ovarian failure, and death;
  • HPV vaccine injuries can not only destroy a girls’ life, but can do damage to her relationship with her parents, and can contribute to the destruction of  families;
  • there is in fact a drug called RANPIRNASE from Tamir Biotech that clears the HPV virus from infected patients and so in all likelihood the vaccine is pointless.

Sufferers of VRA sometimes blurt out “NO VACCINATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION”, which is possibly a side effect of awareness that the Allegheny Board of Health is an appointed, not an elected, body. They also take up odd habits such as reading about two pending Bills in PA to strip Pennsyvlanians of their rights to refuse a medical procedure if they object to the procedure due to philosophical reasons.  Some even exhibit signs of knowing that “PHILOSOPHICAL” means “Of or about the LOVE or KNOWLEDGE”.  In other words, because they know better.  Read more here.

Linda1,

I have commented on the 'quality' of their study: "First, the authors use a passive surveillance database, like VAERS, and the gross under-reporting of such databases is well-known. Second, the authors choose an arbitrary 42 day cutoff period to search for adverse events. What's magic about 42 days? What happens after five years; after fifty years?". From those words, you should be able to glean how much credibility I assign to the study and the results.

If you want to link emergency room visits subsequent to vaccination as cause and effect, that's your choice. So, if a vaccinee twists her ankle the day after vaccination and goes to the emergency room for treatment, in your mind that's cause and effect? That's the problem I have with Laura's relating the number of emergency room visits to the vaccination.

Dr. Kostoff,
SIDS deaths are also not admitted to be vaccine adverse events. In fact, most hospitalizations post vaccination, even same day hospitalizations, are not attributed to vaccination. So it is no surprise, in fact it would unusual, if the authors considered out loud that HPV vaccination was a cause of any significant numbers of subsequent ED visits. They have done in their conclusion what is done in most like studies - they have twisted the facts to their desired conclusion. But their conclusion doesn't make sense.

An ED visit is a highly unusual event for a healthy young person. Most illnesses are seen in primary care, at least in the insured. So, there is no way to downplay the significance of a very high percentage of vaccinees ending up in the ED for any reason. Neurological symptoms can lead to accidents, suicide, and all kinds of adverse events that would likely not be attributed to the prior vaccination. Babies die within hours of vaccination and everyone swears up and down that the vaccines had nothing to do with it. We have to take the author's conclusion in that light.

Laura Hayes,

"958 hospitalizations + 19,351 ED (emergency room visits) = 20,309 VERY SERIOUS ADVERSE EVENTS following HPV vaccination (19,351 total if hospitalizations were a subset of the ED visits, unclear). 20,309 very serious adverse events within six weeks of HPV vaccination that were serious enough to warrant going to the hospital divided by 195,270 recipients means more than 1 in 10 girls (10.4%) is being seriously injured by the HPV vaccine! If one includes the 958 hospitalizations as a subset of ED visits, then the figure is 9.9%, so still 1 in 10!"

According to the paper's Abstract:

"Over the period 195,270 females received 528,913 doses of HPV vaccine. Of those receiving at least one dose, 192 reported one or more AEFI [adverse events following immunization] events (198 AEFI events), i.e., 37.4/100,000 doses administered (95% CI 32.5–43.0). None were consistent with VTE. Of the women who received HPV vaccine 958 were hospitalized and 19,351 had an ED visit within 42 days of immunization. Four women who had an ED visit and hospitalization event were diagnosed with VTE. Three of these had other diagnoses known to be associated with VTE; the fourth woman had VTE among ED diagnoses but not among those for the hospitalization."

The report's conclusions are that the rate of adverse events is 37.4/100,000 doses, orders of magnitude less than the 10% you propose. You are assuming the ED visits are a consequence of the vaccine, but that is not stated by the authors. They admit to only the 192 reported adverse events.

There are at least two problems with the study. First, the authors use a passive surveillance database, like VAERS, and the gross under-reporting of such databases is well-known. Second, the authors choose an arbitrary 42 day cutoff period to search for adverse events. What's magic about 42 days? What happens after five years; after fifty years?

Comment I just posted in response to this article:

Canadian study shows that 1 in 10 girls goes to the ER or is hospitalized within 42 days of HPV vaccination. That is UNACCEPTABLE! As a matter of fact, it's worse...it's child abuse in the form of medical assault.

The study is titled "Adverse Events Following HPV Vaccination, Alberta 2006-2014", by Liu, Bell, Simmonds, Svenson, and Russell, published by Elsevier in 2016.

The study's figures reveal an abominable situation:

958 hospitalizations + 19,351 ED (emergency room visits) = 20,309 VERY SERIOUS ADVERSE EVENTS following HPV vaccination (19,351 total if hospitalizations were a subset of the ED visits, unclear)

20,309 very serious adverse events within six weeks of HPV vaccination that were serious enough to warrant going to the hospital divided by 195,270 recipients means more than 1 in 10 girls (10.4%) is being seriously injured by the HPV vaccine! If one includes the 958 hospitalizations as a subset of ED visits, then the figure is 9.9%, so still 1 in 10!

And, it can be readily assumed that some girls slipped through the cracks, others didn't go to the hospital for various reasons (e.g. might not have proceeded beyond their general practitioners, fear of hospitals, lack of transportation, etc.), and some adverse health effects no doubt occurred after the 6-wk. mark, so are not included. Also, there very well could have been some deaths that resulted but which were attributed to other causes.

Males were not studied. What is the rate of serious adverse events for them following HPV vaccination?

Here are the authors' conclusions:

"Conclusions: Rates of AEFI after HPV immunization in Alberta are low and consistent with types of events seen elsewhere."

That they would deem this many girls and young women suffering severely enough to go to the hospital as "low" occurrence of AEFI (Adverse Events Following Immunization) is reprehensible!

If these disturbing results "are consistent with types of events seen elsewhere", then clearly this vaccine needs to be halted immediately!

Please share this information with those you know who might be considering HPV vaccination for themselves or for their children.

Great list. I'm going to print it out and keep it handy. I generally don't tell people what to do, other than to do their research, but one of my friends asked me if her son should have the shot. He has severe autism and unless there's a magic wand out there to fix it, he will never have sex. I told her not to do it. It seems as if vaccines no longer need a good reason to be administered. You just do it like a good little soldier. It's always about risk versus benefit. For some reason, we are expected to assume all the risk. And big pharma get's the benefit in the form of lots of money. At some point, these vaccines will come off patent. I wonder what will happen then?

go Trump

Sad days in France once again.

In the US of A, 10 infants EVERY DAY ... will not live ... to see their next round of vaccines.

Vaccine Risk Awareness - very good article but on a serious note , we are too slow getting the message out there to counter the barrage of ever present mass media misinformation .
Children are getting maimed injured and killed all the time on an industrial scale .
I tell people all the time and you always get this wry smile from them , something like them feeling sorry for me (but the message does get through with some of them). Attacking the mass media for their lies definitely works - less people seem to want to put their names up front to something that could blow up big time - even Offit has gone quiet (it means he is worried).
I don't hear the mantra much anymore "safe & effective" and that is because of the ridicule we are countering it with . But we are in a race against time .
