Lawsuit for Shingles Vaccine Failure
Note: The The National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986 needs a bit of an update to protect vaccines mass marketed to the unsuspecting, pharma trusting, medically ravenous elderly. Not sure where this law suit will go, but the mere fact it exists highlights how overreaching rarely ends well. Golly, I wonder if NBC Nightly News will air an ad for it? If Pharma and the Public Health community had only (insert vomit emoticon here) been satisfied with over-vaccinating children for profit they might have gotten away with it a bit longer. Dubious but plausible. But when you injure and kill young women (Gardasil) and the elderly start shaking their canes at you because your vaccine failed, you might have a problem that's snowballing into the public consciousness in a way we "anti-vaxxers" (emoticon again please) have predicted. Merck’s Zostavax is a shingles vaccine for people age 50 and older. According to The National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC), Merck’s product is the only live virus shingle vaccine currently available. The CDC recommends that adults 60 and older receive a dose of the vaccine.
The vaccine contains live varicella zoster virus – the chickenpox virus that also causes shingles. Once a person has had chickenpox, the virus remains dormant in their body. Later in life, if the immune system becomes weakened, the virus can reactivate to cause shingles. Zostavax, according to Merck, contains a “weakened” or “attenuated” form of the virus, which stimulates the immune system in an effort to keep the virus dormant and prevent shingles.
What is the Problem With These Shingles Vaccinations?
Let’s start with the report that Zostavax’s effectiveness in preventing shingles is reported to be about 51 percent. In addition, it’s likely that the vaccination causes the very disease it is intended to prevent – shingles – as well as chickenpox. The vaccination warnings regarding these outcomes may be insufficient to adequately alert patients, including some of the most vulnerable in our communities, of the risks.
There is some indication that the vaccination is linked to death. NCIV analysis indicates that there were more than 1,100 serious adverse events reports made to the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System from 1990 until September 2015 related to shingles-containing vaccinations. Of these reports, 90 were for deaths associated with the shingles vaccine.
Both chickenpox and shingles may result in serious damage to the nervous system including conditions like meningitis, encephalitis, acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM) and stroke. Some people who develop shingles have serious side effects, such as Guillain-Barre syndrome, congestive heart failure, or varicella pneumonia.
The Signs and Symptoms of Shingles
Shingles is characterized by a painful skin rash. Usually, the disease first manifests by a pain that tingles or burns at a single site on one side of the body. A rash typically appears after a few days and may even blister. The rash can last for up to thirty days.
Shingles is mainly a disease of the elderly, but younger people can also get it. One out of every five people who get shingles end up with nerve pain that can last months, and even years.

May 2016, my sister had robotic hysterectomy, and suffered a stroke. In ICU it was found she had Shingles. Yes, she's had the vaccine and here she had them. 2008 she had a stroke. Since surgery in May, she has had 4 surgeries. All heart related. Mandubriotomy February 20, in nursing home still.

I recently viewed .. and .. posted on another column .. a nationally advertisement on Foxnews .. wherein a LAW FIRM is seeking anyone who suffered a serious adverse reaction AFTER receiving the shingles vaccine.
My friend .. there is only ONE reason a LAW FIRM would advertise on national television .. seeking clients who have suffered serious damages AFTER receiving the shingles vaccine .. KNOWING how hard/difficult/adversarial .. it would be to prevail in the Vaccine Court .. is the NUMBER of potential litigants .. including the families of those who DIED .. must be overwhelming.
Consider .. when LAW FIRMS .. who for decades have considered vaccine litigations unwinnable, therefore unprofitable .. begin to nationally advertise for "litigants" who have been seriously DAMAGED by vaccines .. the "house of cards" upon which the Vaccine Court rests .. hopefully .. may be in serious threat of complete collapse.

Australia - An elderly patient has died after receiving the Shingles vaccine. The media is reporting this morning that he had a compromised immune system. Well he probably has if his doctors over the years have been encouraging him to have every vaccination known to man. The only reason shingles has evolved is because we have all been needle stuck with the chicken pox vaccines when we were younger. Shingles was unheard of years ago prior to the chicken pox vaccine! KEEP YOURSELF INFORMED. As much as we like to believe our doctors and we 'trust' their advice please do your due diligence before having many of these toxic immunisations forced into your bodies.

Reading these anecdotal comments are so frustrating. The utility of vaccines have been demonstrated many many times. Look at the actual facts as concerns the target diseases that are controlled and the incredible diminution of the incidence of these diseases in the populations that have acquired herd immunity. The immunological science of vaccines has been demonstrated by millions of people who otherwise would have succumb to these disease. Autism is not a consequence of vaccines. The fellow who wrote the original paper in the 1990s was demonstrated to be a charlatan and his medical license was soundly deep sixed. Zika is a reality and a vaccine under development will save many unborn children in the future from the horrors of microcephaly.

They have found the zika virus in the babies and Mothers born with microcephaly, I think that is the reason they have linked it. The only reason.
It maybe that everyone in South American and Africa has the zika virus so of course they will find it.
Is there some other reason or discovery? Does any one know?
If it is the Zika virus - and it is shown that this common virus is now causing birth defects - will they say it has always done this, or is it a new phenomenon for this virus - like Polio?
IF so then Dan Olmstead and Mark has come along with brilliant ideas - connecting dots at the very right time Of course we still have people in high places that lack any curiosity or creativity that insist let us fight all microbes with vaccines and change nothing else that we do.

Perhaps these two articles explain the "curiosity" .. they inform readers the "outbreak" of "birth defects" began to "sky-rocket" approximately 7 MONTHS after Brazil had MANDATED ALL PREGNANT WOMEN IN COUNTRY RECEIVE A DPT VACCINE .. APPARENTLY IN RESPONSE TO AN INCREASE IN PERTUSSIS .

Of course NIAID's Director Fauci spouted to the Congressional Committee that CDC needed a $Billion or so to fast-track the creation and testing of brand new anti-ZIKA vaccines. OF COURSE, vaccines will always save us. Thank you, Herr Fauci! Another vaccine for pregnant women, yeahhh!

Birgit, Many sources have documented that in 2014 the Brazil Government mandated universal DTaP vaccination of all pregnant women; also, it is well documented that the northeast area of Brazil is massively planted with sugar cane (to derive ethanol fuels) and the sugar cane and other crops are the most heavily treated with pesticides of all countries that keep track. I think you will agree that vaccinating pregnant women with ANY vaccine is medical malpractice.
To blame microcephaly on the ZIKA virus is laughable --- yet another scam perpetuated by Health Authorities who never look at toxic exposures, especially never look to vaccines as causing terrible damage to babies and children.
By the way, straight from the CDC webpage on microcephaly, the U.S. averages 7,000 (yes, seven thousand) babies per year born with microcephaly, and this has been going on for many years. As to Brazil, out of cases of microcephaly actually investigated only a minority (several hundred according to variable sources) test to have been exposed to the ZIKA virus. It's preposterous to suspect ZIKA. And, to top it off, the U.S. Congress is in the midst of authorizing up one to two Billion dollars of our taxpayer monies for this ZIKA Fraud, thanks to our CDC causing this needless panic.
My favorite term for CDC is "Centers for Disease Concoction", whose Director of Infectious and Allergy Disease is Anthony Fauci (who testified on Capitol Hill that ZIKA was the best culprit for microcephaly, certainly not anything like manmade toxins) and who adores every toxic Pharma product and vaccine. Fauci easily wins every year since 1986 the annual Josef Mengele Award, when he heavily endorsed all the deadly antiretroviral drugs for so-called anti-Hiv therapies (those who never take these drugs, on average, have normal life expectancy, well documented around the world).

Microcephaly has been around in South America for a long time. These birth defects are not new. They are actually a lot older than the discovery of the Zika virus. I am curious why someone connected the Zika virus with it only recently. Microcephaly was described in 1908 in a German textbook. In it it is hypothesized that toxins most likely cause this birth defect. But who am I to say what it is. My guess is that it is a combination of toxins and Zika getting out of hand. Pandora's box is man-made in my opinion.

I think one of the main problems has been the introduction of varicella vaccine. Hasn't it reduced natural exposure and therefore immune priming? I believe there has been much greater incidence of shingles in young persons. Again, it seems to have been s poor trade off. Let's play God, make money and not really worry about real effects....

I guess the point is that even very old and immune compromised people get shingles and survive. I am not sure the vaccine has that great of a track record.

on the other hand
the Zika virus discovered in 1947 .. that suddenly .. after 60 YEARS .. is causing MANY deformed babies .. a RECENT phenomenon that so far appears to be a very serious problem located heavily in BRAZIL.
Maybe it's just me .. but .. 1,100 serious adverse event reports from 1990 to 2015 ought to have .. at the very least ... raised RED FLAGS over those years .. just saying.

If a person gets shingles; it is because their immune system failed, how in the heck is a vaccine suppose to work?
I have been wondering if Merck was not taking advantage of the natural state of shingles and claiming something works when in fact it don't.
But what I found interesting is that the shingles vaccine is not recommended until - oh I think after 50 years old, as the immune system begins to fail. .
According to the stats before there was any vaccine; For each decade a person lives after 50, the chances of getting shingles increases. By the time a person is in their 90s, the chances of getting shingles is getting pretty high.
According to stats with the shingle vaccine; the effectiveness of the shingles vaccine decreases for each decade of age, a person is after 50 -- by the time a person is 90, the chances are the shingles vaccine will fail.
Sigh; I have been raked over the coals by doctors when my kids were babies, teenagers, in their 20s - getting well into the 30s now------ and just last year I was raked over the coals by a little VA doctor for not letting my 92 year old Father have a shingles vaccines - 3 months after he had gotten over the shingles.
Not that you can't get shingles again - my aunt (my father's sister) got it about three times. A year after receiving her shingles vaccine - then she had to have her heart operated on - - one of the valves was all swollen and inflamed. Like a heart murmur - like in what my son developed at around 2 months old after a DPT vaccine.
