Should Congress Investigate Autism-Vaccine Link?

There was amazing coverage by NewsMax's Sylvia Booth Hubbard in the story, Should Congress Investigate Potential Autism-Vaccine Link? on Feb 2, 2016.
While Congress plans a hearing on Feb. 3 concerning the contamination of Flint, Michigan's water supply with lead, it has yet to address another health crisis: the possibility — some even say the likelihood — that autism is caused by childhood vaccines.
Autism now strikes one out of every 45 children in every city and community in every state in the United States. "Autism is rising at an exponential rate," says nationally known holistic doctor David Brownstein.
...Most mainstream doctors believe the vaccines are safe and effective, but Dr. Brownstein is not alone in his fear that the MMR vaccine is linked to autism.
Many health experts have been calling for congressional hearings since August 2014, when a senior researcher for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Dr. William Thompson, claimed that the CDC found and then hid data from a study that linked the MMR vaccine to autism.
Regardless, Congress has refused to hold hearings. "The Chairman of this committee, Mr. Jason Chaffetz has refused to call Dr. Thompson or any of his superiors at the CDC to testify," says Dr. Brownstein. "In fact, there has been little or no news about the CDC controversy.
The article went on to describe the evidence that was destroyed by the CDC, including the findings on significant risk to African American males who receive the MMR vaccine before 36 months of age.
Ben Swann's new documentary was also included in the NewsMax piece, Truth in Media: CDC, Vaccines & Autism.

Thank you, Dr. Brownstein for having the courage to publicize the whistleblower story and thank you, NewsMax and Sylvia Booth Hubbard for covering it.
So many in the mainstream media have put the interests of their advertisers ahead of the health and safety of our children.
In July 2015, C-Span ran the story, REP. Bill Posey Calling for an Investigation of the CDC's MMR reasearch fraud
Congressman Posey begged his fellow Congressmen to look into the charges made by a CDC scientist that his agency had covered up a link between the MMR vaccine and autism.
How bad do the autism numbers have to get (now at one in every 45 children, one in every 28 boys) before we honestly address this controversy?

Dan , respectively , I do like the Madoff analogy (& I will try and see that film you mention) , but this story here (vaccines and the carnage they cause), is the biggest story in history EVER (their criminal success is breathtaking & astounding & audacious).
I cant think of anything that comes close to the magnitude of this , (I'm including the World Wars , the Japanese nuclear strikes , anything you want .)
Happy enough if anyone wants to argue the point .
I'm confident .

Yes, Congress should investigate the vaccine-autism link, beginning with Dr. Thompson and his four coauthors, and Julie Gerberding, but they won't; they are too cowardly, and they are fully bought. In fact, for the past two sessions they've done hardly anything at all, other than attempt to defund the ACA, and investigate Benghazi. They can barely get a budget passed. The Congress, the Administration, the Supreme Court, and the bureaucrats they oversee work for the plutocrats, the oligarchs, some of whom can be located on Wall Street, and the rest of whom can be found in corporate boardrooms the world over. It is going to take public action (like we did in Sacramento, but on a much larger scale) and public refusal of the denial of informed consent. I have no trust any longer in our political institutions. We are no longer a representative democracy.

Should Congress investigate the Vaccine-Autism link? I am personally not so sure anymore. Let me explain why. These so called Investigations can take years, decades or longer. While the investigations are under way, thousands-no millions of children will become ill with seizures, diabetes, ADHD, IBS, cancers, ASD, deadly food allergies like Peanuts that are in vaccines, Crohn's, asthma, MS, Lupus, brain encephalitis, strokes and enough children have been hurt from the 70 vaccines containing Aluminum, thimerosal/mercury, formaldehyde, MSG, cells of dogs, pigs, cows, monkeys, chicks,insects Leukemia containing bovine serum. This is the sickest generation of children-chronically ill kids ever seen. There must be another way. I am wondering if the 70 vaccines now required in all public schools as well as private schools in Ca. without religious rights , without philosophical rights is in part due to the generation of people in their 40's to 60's Not having children to begin with? It does not seem to concern them. The Corporate Pharmaceutical rights has trumped the rights of individuals, families, siblings, grandparents, the neighborhoods, and beyond. I believe that the scenario must play out on TV-the internet is Not enough in this case. There must be another way to get off this merry-go-round!

Among kids aged 6-17, the CDC says the rate is 1 in 50, or about 1 in 30 boys, because they are 3x to 4x more likely to be autistic.
If the rates continue to double every 6 years, then the rate in today's newborn boys will be 1 in 15. I'm expecting it to actually be much worse, because many women now get vaccinated while pregnant, which dramatically increases the rate of obvious brain damage. It could be that in newborns today we will see boys diagnosed at a rate of 1 in 6 -- but we won't know for between 6 and 12 years, depending on when the CDC runs its surveys.
In boys born 12 years from now, we could see a rate of 1 in 3 -- that will certainly get action, but it will take 12 to 18 years, and millions of damaged kids, before we know what the rate is -- and it will be too late, our civilization will be destroyed at that level: we won't be able to care for them, and the ones that aren't autistic will still have serious brain damage.

Absolutely, how bad do autism numbers anywhere have to be before something happens? I guess there may be one place where they are less bad, amongst a few perhaps, than the worst. That place could be Nevada County, California where uptake of vaccines is reported to be below 80% and has been for some years. What is the prevalence of autism here please?

Is the vaccine scam impermeable? The answer may be in "Chasing Madoff," the movie version of "No One Would Listen," by whistleblower Harry Markopolos. The SEC, led to the ballooning billion dollar dog pile five times, did nothing. Too many people making too much money; too many reputations at stake. Congress held "show" hearings only after the scheme collapsed of its own weight. There is inspiration in this story, though: we know what happened because of one dad who wouldn't give up.
