Weekly Wrap: Eight Years of Age of Autism, and a Chance to Double (and Deduct!) Your Money

Greetings, all, and happy birthday to all of us. Age of Autism turned eight this week. We’re coming up, conveniently, on 8,000 posts (7,720), 125,000 comments, and 20 million page views. And we’re "out there" every day in every possible way telling the truth that vaccines cause autism, recovery is possible, and the autism epidemic is real.
When I say we’re out there, I include Google. It’s important to consider how valuable that is. If you type Do Vaccines Cause Autism into the search engine, the first page has 10 results, all but one of them claiming they don’t.
First up is Vaccines Do Not Cause Autism Concerns, from the CDC; followed by How My Daughter Taught Me Vaccines Don’t Cause Autism, from Voices For Vaccines; and Autism-Vaccine Link: Evidence Doesn’t Dispel Doubts, from WebMD; and Autism and Vaccines, by the Autism Science Foundation; and the classic Do Vaccines Cause Autism. If you click on that last, you will learn one thing: "They F------ Don’t!"
Then – ta da – comes Vaccines Cause Autism, from Age of Autism. You’ve got to dig pretty deep into Google to find another listing like that. That's because we have the status of a news outlet. We are independent, we are reality-based, and we can't be bought or muffled.
Now, we are not solely focused on vaccinations. We are focused on autism and its allied disabilities -- the "Age" of iatrogenic damage that must be stopped -- and we try to be a broad-based forum for people who share this overall view of the world but may disagree on tactics, timing and emphasis. The fact that not everyone on "our side" likes every story we run is a sign we are living up to our mission to be journalists, not a house organ for any particular agenda.
And as you can see from the Google results, a lot of people are not on "our side". Our formal motto is “Daily Web Newspaper of the Autism Epidemic,” but I think our informal one is “Pirate Radio Station of the Rebel Alliance.”
We know we have a fight on our hands with the Death Star, and like most rebels we go at it every day with a certain reckless disregard for our bubble reputations and short-term results. ("Orac" would have little to do if he weren’t attacking us, which just shows that what we publish gets the attention of the folks who call themselves “skeptics” but are more like apologists for the ongoing harm to America’s kids. As FDR once said of his opponents, "I welcome their hatred.")
Now, the pitch: The Empire is well-armed, well-fortified and filthy rich. We are not, nor are we looking to be. But a certain amount of financial solidity helps us keep going, both with the daily blog and the books we publish. They all take time and, as the adage puts it, time is money. Dan, You are like so right. The enemy is filthy rich and in India I use that against them , because there are a LOT of people in India who understand making money more than they understand science. Today, after a father came to enquire from me about admission for his son, it became apparent from what he told me that Pentaxim ( 20 micrograms Thimerosal) + more vaccines with mercury had claimed another victim. I told the father, "Let me tell you what happened here. You gave those vaccines because you thought your child would be healthy. but now your child is not healthy. What really happened is that your wealth flew away to Europe and someone is using it now to buy a new racehorse... and you have a sick child.
No brainwashed American there, imagining that when mercury is put in a holy vaccine it must be safe. The father gave me another similar example from a different area of health ! He caught on very fast. I went back to work thinking how disgusting are our adversaries- Taking advantage of the love of a parent for their child. The lie cant live forever.

@Tony Bateson, Love that question dude. In India the answer might be something like this " We cant even give you a guestimate because all the millions of people who dont vaccinate dont know what the word "AUTISM" means."

Thank you, Dan. I do believe I stumbled on AOA early. You are the best. I will see what I can scrape up to send. Nobody knows better than me that my donations can't save anybody, but at my age it becomes a matter of principle -- as opposed to that additional principal I try to put on my mortgage every month so my adult children won't have to go through "that mess" twice -- but primarily because you and "The Rebel Alliance" scrape up hope for me every day. I can never repay you. P.S. If you ever need an "emergency back up Mom," I'm your gal!

I reacted to the DPT at three months old with days of screaming, and the vaccine encephalitis caused Asperger's in me. My brother reacted by beating his head on the bars of his crib, and also has Asperger's. I can think of five people I know who are so awkward and slow in speech and so socially impaired, that I'm certain they also suffered from an encephalitic reaction to the DPT.
Harris Coulter, co-author of DPT: A Shot in the Dark, believed that everyone born since the War had some degree of brain damage from at least a mild case of vaccine encephalitis.
I didn't know it at the time, but the smallpox vaccine, and polio and, of course, the measles and MMR vaccines, all caused their fair share of death and disability. And the diphtheria vaccine before the DPT. Before the vaccine epidemic started in 1988 with the three-dose Hib vaccine, there were three cases in every 10,000 (vaccinated) children of autism. Not that many, but not that few either, especially since pertussis had stopped being a big threat even before 1948.

Barry, You're right. My children all pre-date the post 1980s vaccine schedule. I am especially grateful they were not subjected to hep-B at birth. They all got good cases of chicken pox and mumps. But they all howled when they got shots for whatever was given back then. The older I get, the less I believe in any medical wisdom.

Vaccination had nothing to do with my sons' autism, but I am overjoyed that the "experts" cannot just turn away from this possible cause of the disaster of autism.

Thanks for forcing the horrific disorder of childhood autism into the limelight. For the past 50+ years I have tried to communicate with scientific authorities, and have been pointedly ignored. Difficult birth is brushed off as not significant. Vaccination had nothing to do with my sons' autism, but I am overjoyed that the "experts" cannot just turn away from this possible cause of the disaster of autism.

Dan, Kim, Mark, and Others who have been instrumental in the genesis and continuation of the impressive and oh-so-important Age of Autism blog,
HAPPY 8th BIRTHDAY, and JOB WELL DONE!
I, too, think of AoA as the "Pirate Radio Station of the Rebel Alliance" - perfect description! It would be so great to have some way to measure the incredible impact AoA has had on parents worldwide in helping to expose, undo, and reverse the decades of vaccine propaganda that have harmed, and killed, too many millions of children (and people of all ages) to count. What an amazing legacy Age of Autism already has, and may it continue until the Age of Autism and the Age of Iatrogenic Harm have ended.
With profound gratitude and endless thanks for this site where any and all can come to learn, share, educate, discuss, brainstorm, strategize, support, encourage, and hopefully, and most importantly, help put an end to this tragic time in history marked by a catastrophic Autism Epidemic in children across the globe, many of whom are now young adults.
It is my hope that each and every AoA reader will generously contribute what they can to keep AoA running strong and growing in the number of people it reaches.

A Congressional bill to force mandatory vaccinations across the nation has entered the House of Representatives under the name “Vaccinate All Children Act of 2015” or HR 2232.

The bill was introduced by the "medical/ vaccine expert" in the green cowboy hat....
This bill is essentially a national version of the SB277 mandatory vaccination legislation which passed in California earlier this year, with the same impossible exemption requirements. The bill, as currently written, would require all state public schools across the nation to mandate blanket vaccination of their enrolled students in order to receive their federal aid money.
For some reason there are no vaccine mandates in the third world country of Canada....

If the question 'Do Vaccines Cause Autism?' can't be satisfactorily answered or if they do not cause autism isn't it absolutely astonishing that Science does not know what does? Really? After more than seventy years? Cannot Pharma see just how plausible it is that the answer is known but people somewhere have succeeded in muddying the waters so much that the world at large doesn't know what to believe? Cannot Pharma see that when the typical dirge about 'Wakefield being debunked' appears relentlessly in thousands of small town newspapers in almost exactly the same words, that something is up? Couldn't Pharma see when fifteen years ago I wrote to 250 research bodies asking what is the prevalence of autism amongst the unvaccinated please, that the commonality of response, ie 'no response' gives the game away? So I still ask the same question; What is the prevalence of autism amongst unvaccinated populations please?
