Both the pertussis vaccine (either version) and the smallpox vaccine were very dangerous. The book The Age of Autism found records from Bedlam Asylum in London of small children interned there. They were developing normally, walking, talking, socializing, when they got the smallpox vaccination, and regressed into autism, losing their speech and acting crazy. One little girl started picking up hot coals from the fire with her bare hands. The smallpox vaccine caused withered limbs, cancer at the vaccination site, gangrene, anaphylaxis, and syphilis, TB, and leprosy from an unsterile reused vaccination instrument. For thirty years before the vaccine was discontinued, there were no smallpox deaths in the US, but many deaths from the vaccine.

My brother and I both reacted to the DPT at three months old with encephalitis, undiagnosed at the time. I screamed for days, and my distraught father took me to the doctor and said he would not leave until he helped me. LOL. My brother beat his head against the bars of his crib. We both grew up with Asperger's syndrome as a result of our reactions. My baby had her only words erased as soon as she got the DTaP booster at 18 months old and was diagnosed with autism two months later.

Since all three vaccines have caused a lot of death and disability, I don't know how you can say which was worse than the others.

As smallpox has been 'eradicated by vaccination' when it turns up anywhere it is now called monkeypox. You'll also see it in literature called: Variola or varicella.

"Human monkey pox: its clinico-epidemiological characteristics" (Zh. Mikrobiol. Epidemiol. Immunobiol. vol. 6, June 1988, pp. 23-30): During the course of the
smallpox eradication programme, a new eruptive disease clinically resembling smallpox was discovered in Zaire…the virus can be transmitted from man to man."

Smallpox vaccination set many of the precedents we deal with today, and therefore it is necessary to understand its factual history. Smallpox vaccination was the first vaccine (distinct from variolation), brought the first compulsory laws, provoked the first anti-vaccination leagues, and promulgated the first "eradication" claim. SmallPox Vaccination was Ineffective

This idea was introduced to the Western world by Lady Mary Wortley Montagu in 1717. She had returned from the Ottoman Empire with knowledge of the practice of inoculation against smallpox, known as variolation. This type of inoculation was simply a matter of infecting a person with smallpox at a
time and in a setting of his choosing.

Compulsory Vaccination:
- In 1854, the year England's compulsory law went into effect, there were dramatic outbreaks throughout the country.
- London's epidemic of 1857-1859 had 14,000 deaths
-From 1871-1873 Europe recorded the worst epidemic in recorded history, as England and other countries boasted near universal coverage. England and Wales incurred more than 45,000 deaths alone.
- The Philippines' epidemic of 1917-1919 brought 70,000 deaths (in a population of 11 million) after the US staged a compulsory vaccination campaign there.
-India's epidemic of 1953 revealed that 80% of the diseased had at least one small pox vaccination and 50% had two or three. (Kempe, 1960)

REALITY CHECK
Many of Jenner’s own contemporaries were shocked at how easily the scientific community was taken in by this poser.

Perusing the work of Walter Hadwen MD, celebrated English surgeon, author, and medical scholar of 100 years ago, we find a version of the Jenner story that is not so set in bronze as most of what we read today. Hadwen points out a few cracks in Jenner’s pedestal:

– Jenner was no physician. He never passed a medical exam in his life, completed any course of medical study, or received a diploma from any medical school.

– Jenner bought his medical degree for £15 from St Andrew’s College in Scotland, which he never attended (Hume, p 174, also Hadwen. )

–Jenner “tested” his theory on one patient, and then immediately claimed that he had “immunized” the patient against smallpox for life. Jenner also claimed that the vaccine would work universally. That’s it. No controlled clinical trials, no years of research, nothing! One patient.
With no proof whatsoever, and a sample size of one, Jenner tricked the entire medical profession, then and now, into pretending that cowpox was smallpox in cows – a total scientific inaccuracy. And then he sold the idea that his vaccine was the cure.

-1853, Parliament began passing compulsory vaccine laws despite the lack of research and testing. Then as now, the media was controlled by the vaccine manufacturers and the government, who stood to make huge money from the sale of these spurious vaccines. This is how mass immunizations got
started. Once the money machine started rolling, doctors who questioned the research were ignored. Despite the lack of scientific validation and hundreds of thousands of documented vaccine deaths, compulsory smallpox vaccination lasted for 120 years! The US was the last holdout, finally giving it up in 1971.

-Prussia passed a mandatory vaccination law in 1834 for smallpox along with Britain. Even to the point of forced
vaccination. The results: in Prussia 35 years after this vaccination law, a smallpox epidemic which killed “124,978 of her vaccinated and re-vaccinated citizens after thirty-five years of compulsory vaccination! England?

Alfred Russell Wallace offers abundant proof how vaccine statistics were manipulated in England during the 1800s – the who and the why of it. After a thorough presentation charting actual deaths throughout the UK and the Continent from smallpox and from the vaccine, Wallace concludes
that smallpox vaccine:

“.… has actually increased susceptibility to the disease. … the conclusion is in every case the same: that vaccination is a gigantic delusion; that it has never saved a single life; but that it has been the cause of so much disease, so many deaths, such a vast amount of utterly needless and altogether undeserved suffering, that it will be classed by the coming generation among the greatest errors of an ignorant and prejudiced age, and its penal enforcement the foulest blot on the generally beneficent course of legislation during our century.”

FYI:-US began vaccinating for smallpox 1902, England stopped by 1907, Holland 1928 & Australia 1925. Why? The smallpox vaccine not only didn’t work, but was dangerous and often fatal. The US stopped vaccinating in 1971, the last holdout in the world. From 1950 to 1970, zero cases of wild smallpox were reported in the U.S. After several years there are now a few cases of smallpox, but they only occurred among the ranks of the vaccinated. (Scheibner). Smallpox vaccination in the
U.S. persisted another 30 years after the disease was at an incidence of practically zero. Again, the only source of death from smallpox in the U.S. for 30 years was from the vaccine itself. (Mendelsohn, p 232, World Book, 1994). Today smallpox occurs nowhere in nature. The only time smallpox occurs-it's from the vaccine. Which is why it was stopped.

The Bush administration tried to fear monger the country into wanting and accepting the resurrection of the Smallpox Vaccine despite it's devastating history. Our government had already spent over $3 billion on the same vaccine. It hadn't changed a molecule. Obviously they were certain they could get the CDC on board but for once they did not follow suit. Vaccine industry didn't care one way or another-they made 3
billion. There were obstacles that the CDC could not cover up if the vaccine was resurrected. The vaccine could not be given to:
- HIV people
- anyone on immunosuppressive drugs
-anyone with eczema (go to the new mom websties and put in the search eczema and see how many babies have developed eczema after being vaccinated. Eczema is a manifestation of vaccines.)

The CDC quoted a study in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, describing vaccine reactions like blindness, scarring, and death. How many Americans would be excluded?

“Given the number of people who suffer from eczema, up to one half of the US population may be ineligible for routine smallpox vaccination.”

-AIDS patients and those on immunosuppressive drugs add another significant proportion to the group of those who shouldn’t be vaccinated. Let’s see – how many drugs are immuno-suppressive?

-Most Americans over 31 years of age had already been vaccinated for smallpox, since the vaccine was only halted in 1971 in the US. So if the vaccine really worked, then obviously these people will not need a new shot, right?

-The final nail in the coffin for the post 9/11 smallpox
vaccine program was the discovery in Mar 2003 that the vaccine should not be given to heart patients. Question: How many people died from heart attacks after they were vaccinated over the last two hundred years and it was never discovered why?

-The same individual who invented the program finally pulled it:
“Under the new guidelines, people who have been diagnosed with serious heart disease such as coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, heart attack and angina are being told not to get the vaccine. The change was ordered by Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy Thompson.” [138]

-CDC director Jeffrey Koplan has admitted that universal
smallpox vaccination could unleash a significant number of side-effects. He said that because many parts of our population do not have a "robust immune system," a fair number of people could have serious reactions.

Josephin B. Neal professor of neurology at Columbia University, wrote in 1942 that pertussis encephalitis in early childhood was likely to leave "very crippling residuals with motor as well as personality handicaps....

Anna Lisa Annell a Swedish researcher said in 1953; said the whooping cough may be associated with the most varying kinds of cerebral complications and that they do not appear to be confined to any particular region but may be cortical, suborbital or peripheral .

Well; the NIH and CDC gave up the small pox vaccine out of the goodness of their hearts but parents dragged them kicking and screaming - last in the whole wide world -- to give up whole cell - for the partial cell vaccine.

And still in the year 2007 - I ran into a little boy - the son of a fellow nursing student of my daughters - and he was the same -- the same as my son at that age. Starring off in the distance, not responding and then hyperactive when he did come to -- sick all the time with something.

It became obvious to me then - that the partial cell was the same - nothing had changed -- only what they called it - what ever this partial cell was - was the same thing that made the whole cell dangerous.

The wool has been pulled over our eyes again.

This following isn't extremely helpful without information as to how many infants in the area were vaccinated or unvaccinated, but...

Why do we get the impression (maybe it's just my impression) that the smallpox vaccine was perhaps the worse for adverse reactions?
