SaneVax Presents HPV Vaccines: Freda Birrell Addresses Scottish Petitions Committee
Please bookmark the SaneVax site for information about HPV vaccines.
I would like to thank the Committee for allowing me to provide additional information relating to my request for ‘A round table discussion to be held at Edinburgh between scientists and medical professionals from both sides of the HPV vaccine safety debate.’ I speak today on behalf of not only the UK Association for HPV Vaccine Injured Daughters who have had their lives turned upside down after HPV vaccine administration, but each of the 2019 people from 55 countries who signed because they are having similar experiences and support open scientific discussions.
Our association was organized at the beginning of this year when it became apparent that we needed to co-ordinate everyone’s individual efforts as a group. Our association represents families from Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland operating under the banner of HPV Vaccine Injured Daughters (AHVID). As a group, we were able to receive greater publicity. The increased awareness caused our membership to grow by leaps and bounds. Our initial group of 60 members has expanded to 208 and rising. Despite the fact that Scotland only accounts for 8% of the UK population; 15% of the association’s members come from Scotland. We don’t know how many others are out there, but for now there appears to be no end in sight.
A senior politician within the Irish Government, Pashal Mooney, gave an impassioned plea to Irish Government officials regarding the Irish HPV vaccination program, lack of informed consent and the devastating effects on young girls around the country. He specifically mentions Irish girls being admitted to psychiatric hospitals following HPV vaccinations.
Japan has rescinded the government recommendation for HPV vaccines and initiated studies to determine whether there is a causal relationship between HPV vaccines and adverse outcomes as well as a 21 year study to determine whether HPV vaccines have an impact on cervical cancer diagnosis rates.
- In Denmark, the National Association of HPV Adverse Sufferers is hosting an HPV Vaccine Information Symposium to bring families together with medical professionals, health authorities and legal professionals to explore treatment options and potential legal remedies on October 31st. Denmark has just recently made the decision to change from Gardasil to Cervarix as the HPV vaccine of choice. 24 Oct 2015, at the urging of Liselott Blixt, Danish politician with a Gardasil injured daughter the Danish government has set aside 7 million kroner to conduct an independent investigation into the HPV vaccine and its side effects.
Our association is in the process of compiling information to submit to the EMA for consideration during their safety assessment of HPV vaccines. Of the 88 family reports analysed to date: 68% reported their daughters experienced health problems serious enough to interfere with their education; 24% reported symptoms so severe their daughter could no longer participate in educational activities; 70% required help with daily care; and a full 91% reported being told their daughters’ medical conditions were psychological in origin.
Psychological in origin? Interesting to note that national health authorities in Denmark, Norway, Japan, France, Spain, Colombia, Ireland, and many other countries have led doctors and other vaccine administrators to believe that any new medical conditions experienced after HPV vaccine administration are most likely psychosomatic. Consequently, when the average medical health professional is faced with a patient exhibiting symptoms they have never seen before; symptoms which do not fit neatly into any current diagnostic criteria, the natural assumption is psychological problems as have been experienced by many UK families.
So, I put forth these facts for your consideration:
- According to Merck’s Gardasil 9 package insert, 3.3% of participants who were given Gardasil during the most recent clinical trials “experienced new medical conditions potentially indicative of autoimmune disorders.” (3,300/100,000 recipients)
- According to a press release from Sanofi-Pasteur MSD dated June 17, 2015, 183 million doses of Gardasil have been distributed worldwide.
- Using Merck’s own clinical trial percentage, this means there could be as many as 6,039,000 girls around the world suffering autoimmune conditions which could very well influence their health for the rest of their lives.
- According to the World Cancer Research Foundation, there were 528,000 cases of cervical cancer diagnosed worldwide in 2012.
Is this worth the risk? I am very much aware HPV vaccines are a controversial issue and that this information puts Scotland at a cross-roads with a difficult decision to make.
Do we accept what the manufacturer and their list of experts are saying and assume HPV vaccines are safe and effective and there just happens to be an epidemic of psychosomatic disorders spreading round the world affecting certain young people who have one thing in common, they were injected with HPV vaccines?
Or, do we listen to experts from both sides, try to discover exactly what the situation is and make every effort we can to get the problem solved?
Do we sweep all of these families under the proverbial ‘psychological disorder’ carpet and ignore their misery; or do we treat them with the dignity and respect they deserve by using every means at our disposal to identify those at risk of serious adverse reactions and develop successful treatment protocols for those already suffering?
Please, demonstrate to the world that Scotland is still a country that does not ignore the suffering of innocents.
Show the world Scotland is not afraid to hold open, honest scientific discussions no matter how controversial the subject might be.

Brittney just now states that one of her physicians told her that medical students receive ONLY TWO WEEKS INSTRUCTION on vaccines. Brittney also feels that people/physicians need to understand that VACCINES ARE CAUSING MORE HARM THAN GOOD.

Thank you Freda. I sincerely hope your presentation results in an attitude change, amongst our Scottish politicians, regarding the advisability and necessity of vaccinating all our young girls with the HPV vaccine Gardasil.
In her letter to me Rona Watters stated :-
"Prior to immunisation taking place, consent will be sought from the parents/carers of the children and every effort will be made by the school nurses to address any concerns the children or parents may have. Parents receive an information leaflet which outlines the risks and benefits of vaccination. Vaccination can be carried out without parental consent only if the child is deemed by a medical professional to have a full understanding of the risks involved."
This is the current advice leaflet provided to girls and their parents in Scotland:-
http://www.immunisationscotland.org.uk/vaccines-and-diseases/hpv.aspx
Extracts from above:-
"The human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine for girls aged 11 to 13 years helps protect against cervical cancer. The HPV vaccine is offered to girls at secondary schools across Scotland."
(ME - They don't yet know how effective or otherwise HPV vaccine is in preventing cervical cancer. These girls are guinea pigs for a vaccine, which is already known to lose much of it's effectiveness after a few years.)
"The vaccine does not protect you against all other types of HPV that cause cancer, so you will still need to start going for regular cervical screening (smear tests) when you reach the appropriate age. This combination of immunisation and cervical screening offers the best possible protection against cervical cancer."
(ME- Pap smears are very effective at diagnosing and treating any pre cancerous cervical lesions. They are also HARMLESS. As Freda pointed out, the Merck vaccine insert states 3.3% of girls vaccinated "experienced new medical conditions potentially indicative of autoimmune disorders.” This fact ALONE should be enough to completely ban this vaccine worldwide, yet it has been ignored.)
"Parental agreement is always advised, although it is not always necessary. If you or your parents have any questions about having the immunisation, speak to your nurse first if you can, or your doctor."
(ME - Our vulnerable young girls are subjected to extreme pressure from nurses, teachers and peer groups, who call them stupid and foolish if they refuse HPV vaccinations, which 'save' them from cancer. Parents who withhold consent are disregarded, since older children can consent themselves in the UK.)
"The vaccine meets the high safety standards required for it to be used in the UK and other European countries. Clinical trials with thousands of young women have shown that the vaccine is very safe."
(ME- Merck has admitted its most recent clinical trials have revealed serious problems in a significant number of girls vaccinated with Gardasil).
BAN THIS VACCINE WORLDWIDE NOW. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!

Thank you for posting my presentation. The Scottish Government via the Scottish Petitions Committee now know and cannot say they have not been advised and the drums have been beating hard from the Highlands of Scotland down to the borders. With the publicity this has been generated will have raised enormous awareness among the general public and give people food for thought. Some of the leading newspapers have picked it up and if the Scottish Government decides to ignore or tries to pretend this is not happening then they are preparing themselves for a huge fall, in my opinion. It has been out there, it has not been hidden and when more adverse reactions are reported or when they decide to give the jab to boys, and they too become sick, then they will have no place to hide.
Common sense has to play a huge part in this - it is not normal for previously healthy, very active young girls to suddenly change and become disabled, living in a dark place and the one thing they all had in common was the HPV vaccine. Apart from severe disabilities they have lost so much education. That is why we work together and why we stand up for our girls and why we will never stop - their young lives deserve to be protected and that is what we intend to do.

@ Susan
"The pharmaceutical companies/medical staff seem to have stock answers to vaccine injuries. For HPV it is 'psychosomatic' and for autism it is 'better diagnosis' (i.e. no increase)."
--------------------------
The pharmaceutical companies/medical staff "stock answers" are carefully crafted "plausible denials" .. which is exactly what government intelligence agencies .. such as .. the CIA & KGB .. have become expert at .. as a means to "cover up" their most dastardly deeds that have gone terribly awry .. and .. are terrified should the people know exactly what happened and who was responsible for it.
Not to get political because ALL (Republican as well as Democrat) governments do it .. former Sec of State Clinton blaming the terrorist attack on embassy in Bengazi on a "film" rather admit things gotten dangerously out of control in Lybia during a Presidential election campaign.

The pharmaceutical companies/medical staff seem to have stock answers to vaccine injuries. For HPV it is 'psychosomatic' and for autism it is 'better diagnosis' (i.e. no increase). How much longer will the public be fooled? At least there does seem to be more publicity from mainstream media re Gardasil injuries in last few months.

As we know vaccines are the greatest cause of coincidence known to man.

"I think the attitude of the Scottish Health Protection Team stating "Gardasil has not been proven to be the cause of these deaths", is deplorable."
------------------------------
If I remember correctly .. GM denied initial reports of GM vehicles suddenly losing control causing serious accidents .. including death .. claiming their autos "had not been proven to be the cause of death".
How did those denials turn out for GM?

The following is extracted from a reply I received in June 2012, from the Scottish Chief Medical Officer and Public Health Directorate, Public Health Division, following my letter expressing concerns about certain child vaccines, including Gardasil. Note the reponse states Gardasil protects from only 2 HPV strains and 2 genital warts strains. I am unsure whether this has been replaced in Scotland with the new Gardasil vaccine, stated to protect from 8 different strains:-
“Studies of the interactions between Gardasil and numerous other vaccines have been conducted (including Menactra [Meningococcal (Groups A, C, Y and W-135) Polysaccharide, Diphtheria Toxoid Conjugate Vaccine] and Adacel [Tetanus Toxoid, Reduced Diphtheria Toxoid and Acellular Pertussis Vaccine Adsorbed (Tdap)] and RECOMBIVAX HB [hepatitis B vaccine (recombinant)]). These studies have shown no contraindications to co-administration with Gardasil. (Delays to vaccination schedules put children at unnecessary risk of serious illness therefore this is to be avoided if at all possible.)
You state in your letter that ‘Gardasil is officially acknowledged to have killed more than 100 young girls worldwide’. This is not the case. It is true that there have been 106 deaths reported after Gardasil vaccination, however, Gardasil has not been proven to be the cause of these deaths. As reports of possible adverse events to vaccinations are greatly encouraged and vaccination is very common (millions of vaccine administered annually), it is usual to have reports of deaths in vaccinated individuals but it is not correct to assume until proven otherwise that these deaths are in fact related to the vaccination.
School vaccinations and HPV
We note your request that vaccination campaigns should not be carried out in school settings. Under the childhood immunisation programme, the majority of immunisations are carried out at GP surgeries. However, the HPV and teenage booster vaccinations are mainly carried out within schools by trained health professionals and with full training of how to deal with anaphylaxis, fainting or other side effects. Prior to immunisation taking place, consent will be sought from the parents/carers of the children and every effort will be made by the school nurses to address any concerns the children or parents may have. Parents receive an information leaflet which outlines the risks and benefits of vaccination. Vaccination can be carried out without parental consent only if the child is deemed by a medical professional to have a full understanding of the risks involved and it is always the preference to have parental consent.
In Scotland girls are vaccinated against Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) using the Gardasil vaccine. There are many strains of HPV, however Gardasil protects against two strains of HPV that cause over 70% of cervical cancer in UK and a further two strains that cause the majority of genital warts.
As you noted Gardasil carries a black triangle symbol (▼). This is a standard symbol added to the product information of a vaccine/medicine when it is under more intensive monitoring by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Authority (MHRA) and aims to encourage reporting of all suspected adverse reactions. If a doctor, nurse, pharmacist or patient/carer suspects that any adverse reaction to one of these vaccines has occurred they should report it to the MHRA who investigate all reported side effects seriously. This does not mean that the vaccine is untested or experimental, all vaccines undergo strict testing before they are licensed for use in the UK, they are then monitored by the MHRA.”
Rona Watters
Health Protection Team : June 2012
I think the attitude of the Scottish Health Protection Team stating "Gardasil has not been proven to be the cause of these deaths", is deplorable. Whatever happened to caution and 'first do no harm'? (106 reported deaths in 2012 - far more reported NOW, plus widespread horrific life changing disabilities alleged to have been caused by HPV vaccines).
Freda Birrell has worked tirelessly to bring this scandal to the attention of our Scottish Government, but WILL THEY LISTEN?
