The apparent online writings of the mother of the man who killed nine people in a shooting at a community college in Oregon discuss guns and the autism spectrum, painting a partial picture of the environment the family lived in, their beliefs and the challenges they faced.
Online posts linked to Laurel Harper, the mother of the gunman, are limited and incomplete, but they seem to indicate two things: that her son, Chris Harper-Mercer, had a developmental disorder, and that the family had a familiarity with firearms and gun laws. . . .
Autism spectrum disorders can cause significant social impairments, communication problems and restricted, repetitive behavior patterns. But studies have shown there is no direct link between Asperger's and violence. The question was also raised three years ago, after Adam Lanza, who was said to have Asperger's, killed 26 children and adults at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.

Schizophrenia, autism, and Asperger's are three of the many possible outcomes of mercury poisoning. The book The Age of Autism shows how rates of these and other mental disorders were either caused or greatly increased by industrial pollution starting in the early nineteenth century. They are all the results of brain damage. Vaccine encephalitis even without mercury can cause autism and Asperger's, maybe schizophrenia too, but I haven't seen information about that. Those who have been brain-damaged by mercury, encephalitis, or prescription drugs are all different, but many of them are violent and even homicidal. Of course it doesn't mean that every autistic person may become homicidal. An old friend the other day asked me if there was any difference between mental retardation and autism, and I exploded in a predictable way, but ultimately said that many autists also had MR, but that most of them didn't, that it's primarily brain damage to the language and social center of the brain. (But damage to the social center that reduces the capacity for normal feelings toward others may sometimes result in homicide.) I think that is the case here as well. While most Aspies and autists are not violent, some are, and it's because of their brain damage. I don't think it's useful to say that violence and autism are completely separate conditions which never coincide.

I worry about what this "correlation" will do to my child. She has Apergers, and is high functioning, so it's only a matter of time before someone or something gets her attention on this. "Mom, if there are other people with Aspergers that are killers, does that mean...?" I can hear my linear, "if-then" thinking child asking me this.

Here's a reminder of what the flu shot does for pneumonia:

Once again, the 2015 magic of the “great American flu vaccine” has started, with the “study after study” that shows the vaccine linked to preventing not only the flu, but pneumonia as well.
Somehow this study was released ....”just in time for flu vaccine season”... at your nearby local grocery store or pharmacy.
One had better not skip a damn flu shot or else...
No one in Science knows how a virus vaccine can also stop a bacterial pneumonia... but statistics of a few hundred people cannot be wrong... all to help sell a few hundred million doses.

For some reason, it has been stated that the “flu mist” may be a bit delayed this year to the supply chain, but the mercury vaccines are ready right now....
The 2015 vaccine already looks to be much better than the 13% effective 2014 vaccine...in trying to lower the 2% of the American population that may catch the “actual flu” ....down into the 1% level.... which of course would be a smashing success.
Look for the “flu and the flu shot” to be mentioned in your favorite TV show soon...

Apparently .. according to this article .. the shooter is reported to have used lithium .. a drug that is used to enhance the effect of SSRI drugs .. which sounds like lithium makes dangerous SSRI drugs .. even more dangerous.
Odd .. ABC World News Tonight .. quoted some of the shooter's on-line comments .. but .. used his real name .. instead of his "screen name" .. which the article reports was "lithium love".
Have to wonder .. if his screen name was anything other than a prescribed SSRI drug .. would ABC have used it?

So, again I have to raise the question, as the sister of a schizophrenic: Are these young people being diagnosed with Asperger's because it is more socially acceptable than schizophrenia? I don't know about Adam Lanza, but this Oregon shooter sounded like your everyday, run-of-the-mill schizophrenic to me. (And actually, so did Adam Lanza.) The next question, then, is whether autism is actually a Schizophrenia Spectrum Disorder, in which case the differences are primarily 1) the age of onset; and 2)the trigger.
