Eric Gladen and Shiloh Levine’s documentary, Trace Amounts, was featured as part of the United Nations 2015 NGO Conference.
Since Tuesday, hundreds of international Non-Governmental Organizations have been gathering at UN Headquarters in New York City to “Honor the Past, Recognize the Present, and Imagine the Future.”
Yesterday, a crowd of 150 conference goers watched the film and attended the post-screening Q & A which featured Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Eric Gladen and Dr. Brian Hooker. Given the international reach of the conference, attendees particularly were interested to learn that, while the U.S. has reduced thimerosal in many vaccines on the childhood schedule, thimerosal-laden vaccines are still being widely distributed in developing countries, exposing millions of children to the risks of mercury.
A video of the post screening Q & A will be available in a few weeks and will posted widely.
