Dr. Mumper received her M.D. from the Medical College of Virginia and is board-certified in pediatrics. Prior to joining ARI as Medical Director for five years, she held a clinical faculty appointment at the University of Virginia for sixteen years. In 2000, Dr. Mumper founded Advocates for Children, her general pediatrics practice. Advocates for Families is designed to care for children with autism. In 2007 Dr. Mumper founded The Rimland Center in Virginia, to mentor clinicians and conduct clinical research.
