RFK Jr.: CDC Vaccine Program a 'Cesspool of Corruption'
By Anne Dachel
NewsMax covered Robert Kennedy, Jr.'s involvement in the vaccine controversy on June 1, 2015, in the piece, RFK Jr.: CDC Vaccine Program a 'Cesspool of Corruption.'
There was an article and the video of Kennedy's interview on NewsMax TV.
The video begins with a video of CDC representative, Rear Adm. Anne Schuchat, testifying before a U.S. Senate committee meeting. She denied vaccines can cause autism. She cited "dozens of studies" showing no link.
Next NewsMax anchor Ed Berliner said:
You have just heard from Director of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. And that is how she responded when Senator Lamar Alexander asked her what her answer would be to a parent who heard childhood vaccinations can lead to autism. Despite a mountain of evidence to bolster that finding, there remain those who stay the fight and believe in essence, the government is lying to parents.
Our guest is a longtime environmental activist, an attorney for the Natural Resources Defense Council, and he brings an important name in American politics to the debate. Welcome Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. to Midpoint. Robert, thank you so much for joining us.
Berliner: When did this become something, this autism and vaccination issue, that you knew you had to follow and you had to hone in on all the time?
Kennedy: I'm pro-vaccine. I had all six of my kids vaccinated. . . . I think that we need a vaccine program where the vaccines are safe, and that we have a regulatory agency that has integrity and public credibility. And we don't have either of those things right now.
I got dragged into this issue kicking and screaming. . . .
Kennedy talked about his work on mercury emissions from coal fueled power plants. Mothers of vaccine injured children came to his talks and told him he had to also look at the mercury exposure in pediatric vaccines.
I actually started reading the science, and the science did not say what the CDC claims the science says.
You just heard the head of the CDC [National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases] saying there is no connection between thimerosal and autism. I will challenge her to show me a single study that actually says that. In fact, I've put out a challenge that I will give any journalist who can show me a single study that shows that thimerosal is safe $10,000 - and there are literally hundreds and hundreds of studies in the peer reviewed publications, including CDC studies, there's 39 studies that show thimerosal does cause autism and there are hundreds of other studies that link it to pediatric neurological . . .
Berliner: Here I have in my hand from the CDC, from a number of researchers, in July 1999, back then, the Public Health Service Agencies, the American Academy of Pediatrics, vaccine manufacturers, all agreed-you're talking about thimerosal-they said there is absolutely no evidence that low doses are even in vaccines. They said it's only minor reactions like redness, swelling at the injection site-if there's anything. And there is a ton of evidence here, Robert, which I have to tell you, says that there is no link between vaccines and autism, yet you continue to say that there is. . . .
Kennedy: There is a difference between established science and the scientific establishment. The public health regulators are not telling the truth about this. I am not the only one to say that.
Bernadine Healy who was the head of FDA [sic] said the reason they're lying is because they're scared of finding results, for two reasons. One is because they required people to take these vaccines back in 1989-that's when the vaccine schedule changed and these huge loads of thimerosal were put in the vaccines, and that's when all of these neurological illnesses began, in 1989. EPA says that was the gateway year. . . .
And number two-this is what Bernadine Healy says-they're reluctant to study something. . .that they believe will frighten people away from taking vaccines. There's an argument from saying let's not look at something that may be unpleasant, but I think there's a much stronger argument in a democracy for saying with science, we need to look at the hypotheses even if they're unpleasant.
There are four federal studies that looked at CDC and said the vaccine program at CDC is a cesspool of corruption.
What you just quoted me were statements from CDC. You did not quote me a study. Quote me a scientific study. I can quote you many many-hundreds of them right now that say that thimerosal is causing brain injury to our children. You can't tell me one study that shows that it's safe.
Berliner: There is not one study that shows the connection though. You would agree with that. There are a number of studies that showing there is no connection between autism and thimerosal.
Kennedy: There are many, many studies that show a connection. I'll give you an example, the Kronenberg Study. . . 2013 which was . . . a CDC study published in JAMA Pediatric showed that when thimerosal was removed from vaccines in 1993 in Denmark, that the rate of autism dropped by 33 percent. That's just one study. There's many, many other studies that show a direct connection. Thimerosal causes autism-like symptoms in monkeys, rats, guinea pigs and hamsters. And children who get autism are children who do not produce glutathione , which is the enzyme that excretes mercury-
Berliner: "I understand all this. But is it not fair to say that thimeroal was removed U.S. childhood vaccines 15 years ago. So why are we still talking about all this? Because there those people who say it's completely safe right now without thimerosal-even if there is a connection.
Kennedy: "That's one of the industry's talking points that is. Again, another canard.
It was taken out most of the pediatric vaccines, but not altogether in 2003, but it was added at the same time to the flu vaccine and the flu vaccine was then added to the pediatric schedule.
Not only are we giving these kids massive doses continually of thimerosal, but we're giving it to pregnant women at the most vulnerable point of a child's development. . . .
Berliner, ignoring what Kennedy just said, told him that all the doctors that they talked to disagreed that there was no evidence that thimerosal was dangerous.
Kennedy:". . . I think we should have vaccines without mercury in them. . . . Just because I don't want mercury in my fish doesn't mean I'm anti-fish. . . . I'm just against mercury.
The doctors are reading what CDC tells them to read. They're not going back, they're not toxicologists, they're not pharmacologists. They're not reading the original data. They're not reading the science. I've talked to hundreds of doctors. . .
Next NewsMax had a medical doctor to challenge what Kennedy had said.
Dr. Sanjay Jain asked why the CDC didn't look at the science Kennedy said shows thimerosal is dangerous.
Why isn't the CDC looking at that study? . . . I don't see any reason or intent for them to take those studies out. I want clarification. It doesn't make any sense to me.
Kennedy pointed out that there are six studies on the CDC website.
Kennedy: All of those studies are epidemiological studies; they're population studies that were created by CDC and the vaccine industry. They're either overtly fraudulent or they have been disavowed by their own authors, yet they're still on those websites.
Kennedy held up his book, Thimerosal, Let the Science Speak.
Kennedy: We spent three years with a dozen of the best scientific researchers in the country and we went through PubMed, we went through the entire public medical literature. We found every study ever done about thimerosal, and we put it in here. . . .
Jain: Are you saying that the CDC is intentionally ignoring the studies that you've researched?
Kennedy: Yes, the CDC is intentionally ignoring those studies, and I'm not the only one saying this. The chief scientist at CDC, Dr. William Thompson, who is still at CDC, and who was the primary author of two of the three American epidemiological studies cited by CDC to exculpate thimerosal-Dr. William Thompson, in August, invoked federal whistleblower status and turned thousands of pages of documents over to Congressman [Bill] Posey and has asked to be subpoenaed before Congress because he believes that he and his division are at least partially responsible for the autism epidemic. . . . He has been ordered to lie.
Ed Berliner asked Dr. Jain if he thought he was being lied to by the CDC. Jain said he didn't feel he was.
Jain: If there's a legitimate research study out there that's proving what Mr. Kennedy is actually saying, it's their responsibility to look at that. I find it very unusual-It doesn't make sense for any organization that's in the interest of public health would intentionally ignore something like that.
Jain then said he wanted to know if Kennedy's studies were legitimate.
Kennedy reiterated that mercury was a known neurotoxin and it had no place in vaccines, to which Berliner responded as if he hadn't heard anything Kennedy had said.
Berliner: But it hasn't been injected into anybody in 15 years.
Kennedy: I just explained to you, it's still being injected into people every day in the flu vaccines in this country, into children in every year of their lives from six months on and pregnant women.
Ed Berliner promised to follow up on this controversy.
This coverage was both good and bad in terms of legitimacy. Robert Kennedy, Jr. was at least given an opportunity to explain his position (which doesn't often happen), but once again, the news source was on the defensive with regard to the safety of vaccines. Ed Berliner challenged Kennedy's claims, but he didn't question what Dr. Jain said.
The article included a link to Kennedy's book, "Thimerosal: Let the Science Speak," but Berliner did not ask him about anything in his book. (If I were a news person interviewing someone about the subject of a book, I'd have read the book.)
Kennedy's book is only 172 pages. I'm still waiting for a reporter who writes about Kennedy's efforts to stop these bills to end state vaccine exemptions to actually say they've read his book and understand his position.
In my book, The Big Autism Cover-Up, How and Why the Media Is Lying to the American Public, I have a chapter on Dr. Andrew Wakefield and his treatment by the press. I specifically cite the way he was attacked on TV in 2011 at the time Brian Deer wrote about him. Wakefield pleaded with Anderson Cooper on CNN to read his book, Callous Disregard.
Cooper refused to allow him to even talk about it. And on ABC's Good Morning America, George Stephanopoulos told Wakefield that he had read his book, yet Stephanopoulos couldn't cite anything that Wakefield had written. I asked Dr. Wakefield if he thought Stephanopoulos had really read it and he said most definitely he hadn't.
NewsMax ran the headline, RFK Jr.: CDC Vaccine Program a 'Cesspool of Corruption.' That is a very serious charge. This isn't just a case of conflicting scientific study findings. Kennedy is accusing our nation's top health agency of criminal acts. He's talking about fraud and cover-up. This calls every claim they've ever made about vaccine safety into question.
Anne Dachel is Media Editor for Age of Autism and author of The Big Autism Cover-Up: How and Why the Media Is Lying to the American Public, which is on sale now from Skyhorse Publishing.
I must add that even though Kennedy wasn't really listened to, it was still one of the best interviews I've seen him give. He was able to give so much useful information. Maybe others that saw it(not including the choir) will find it very important.

What a great quote.

A few people have asked me lately why Bobby is doing this work when he is endlessly attacked for it. It is because he knows it is the right thing to do.
"Few men are willing to brave the disapproval of their fellows, the censure of their colleagues, the wrath of their society. Moral courage is a rarer commodity than bravery in battle or great intelligence. Yet it is the one essential, vital quality for those who seek to change a world which yields most painfully to change."

So it's time to see if the democratic process works. As David Foster said he would do, make sure NONE of the bastards is EVER reelected. Encourage budding politicians more concerned with the lives and minds of their constituents' children than with pharma largesse and the gravy train. Make it clear that we will NEVER forget or forgive politicians who sold us down the river. See if brioche from Merck equals a majority of votes.

Mr Kennefy should be applauded. He has no vaccine-injured children yet is fighting this fight wholeheartedly for the sake of truth. Thank you so much, you are a hero to many!
Thank you Anne for all the great links and for this article.

I cannot believe what insults and sly jeering Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is voluntarily subjecting himself to for the cause of children and families in our country and all countries. We will never be able to thank him enough.

"...Look at what happened in California. Instead of playing hardball with the Democratics, exposing they are corrupt to the core, the group leading the charge against mandatory vaccination in that state chose to throw flower petals around the capital and wear professional clothing to meetings. Well, that had NO impact..."
I haven't been to Sacramento re SB277, but I've seen Bolen's criticisms about the efforts to push back 277 out here and I have to say, ON THIS ONE ITEM ISSUE, I disagree with him. He offers up criticism, but offers NO CRITICAL STRATEGIES to buttress his remarks.
Parents and professionals showed up IN DROVES in opposition to SB277. Over 1000 individuals showed up, opposing 277 during our first committee hearing. Many brought their children, many had to take time off of work, and many had to carpool and/or spend the night bunked up in someone's home (complete strangers to them in some cases), just to make it to the Capitol, to stand in line for hours and state their name, where they're from and that they oppose the bill.
I cringed when I heard about the flowers being strewn around and cringed even more when I heard Dr. Sears tell everyone to be POLITE, etc., so forth. But playing Devil's Advocate, I wasn't down there; I couldn't make it to Sacramento, so who am I to criticize the efforts of those that DID make it down there.
Further, Bolen was NOT in Sacramento and to my knowledge, Tim has not been actively involved whatsoever in the push back effort. He can criticize all he wants, but HE WASN'T THERE.
He claims to be more active NOW, but it's a little too late for that. It does look as though 277 WILL be signed off by Gov. Brown.
So Tim Bolen can criticize the efforts of all these people all he wants, but from where I'm standing, I APPLAUD the efforts of all the individuals who have taken time out of their daily lives to fight back.
This is a huge state and there were many splinter groups gathered to help defeat this bill. I think what most people from out of state don't realize is that we're up against a completely corrupted TO ITS VERY CORE, political system and I honestly don't believe ANY PUSH BACK was going to defeat this horrendous bill.
California's political legislators have heard not just from its constituents, but from folks outside our state, as well as from individuals in other countries, voicing their concerns with this bill!
And STILL...it's not been enough to push back this thing. You all read about the Lieu strategy employed during our first committee hearing. It's been absolutely dismaying to have to witness this corruption right in front of our eyes. It's disgusting...
So please - a little temperance, here. After viewing just about all of these hearings and witnessing the hundreds of folks lined up in those hallways in the Capitol in opposition to this bill, it's VERY apparent there was most likely nothing that could be done to keep this monstrous bill from passing into law.
Folks from Oregon have viewed what's been going on here in California with complete dismay and have acknowledged that our political system here is corrupted to its core.
There was a comment made by someone on Facebook that, when attending one of our hearings, he was told that in over 30 years, they'd never seen this many people show up in opposition to a bill...TO ANY BILL.
And yet, it's done no good. The good folks of California HAVE spoken, but it wasn't good enough. They are determined to pass this bill. I only hope there will be lawsuits flying when this atrocity gets passed...

The CDC should watch carefully the ramifications of FIFA - 'the truth will always out even though it is the first casualty of war'. This is a war, when lying is the only way out of a desperate miscalculation things can only get worse, implicating thousands of otherwise decent people who know their jobs can be at risk should they issue a single word that could begin to unravel the tissue of fabrications. We should never let up in pursuit of the real history of twentieth century vaccination.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention: protecting the private good?
BMJ 2015; 350 doi: http://dx.doi.org/10.1136/bmj.h2362 (Published 15 May 2015)
by Jeanne Lenzer, associate editor, The BMJ, USA
After revelations that the CDC is receiving some funding from industry, Jeanne Lenzer investigates how it might have affected the organisation’s decisions
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) includes the following disclaimer with its recommendations: “CDC, our planners, and our content experts wish to disclose they have no financial interests or other relationships with the manufacturers of commercial products . . . CDC does not accept commercial support.”1
The CDC’s image as an independent watchdog over the public health has given it enormous prestige, and its recommendations are occasionally enforced by law.
Despite the agency’s disclaimer, the CDC does receive millions of dollars in industry gifts and funding, both directly and indirectly, and several recent CDC actions and recommendations have raised questions about the science it cites, the clinical guidelines it promotes, and the money it is taking.
Marcia Angell, former editor in chief of the New England Journal of Medicine, told The BMJ, “The CDC has enormous credibility among physicians, in no small part because the agency is generally thought to be free of industry bias. Financial dealings with biopharmaceutical companies threaten that reputation.”2
Industry funding of the CDC has taken many doctors, even some who worked for CDC, by surprise. Philip Lederer, an infectious diseases fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, and a former CDC epidemic intelligence service officer, told The BMJ he was “saddened” to learn of industry funding.
The CDC’s director, Tom Frieden, did not respond to a question about the disclaimer. He told The BMJ by email, “Public-private partnerships allow CDC to do more, faster. The agency’s core values of accountability, respect, and integrity guide the way CDC spends the funds entrusted to it. When possible conflicts of interests arise, we take a hard…

The host, drunk on the Kool Aid and probably on orders from his producer, adopted the typical Matt Lauer/Anderson Cooper antagonistic role, without truly listening and asking good questions.
Amy Goodman, he ain't. Asshat, he was.
Kennedy got agitated with the man's ignorance. That was good to see and others will see how eager the host was to attack a legitimate guest.

"Back in 1997, Mary took the couple's 1-year-old son, Nicholas, to the doctor for the combination vaccine against measles, mumps and rubella. Right after the MMR shot, Mary says, Nicholas started crying uncontrollably.
'This was unbelievable screaming,' she says.
Mary and her mom started driving Nicholas back to their home in Evans City, Pa.
'We got about 10 minutes down the road,' Mary says. 'We had to pull over because he was screaming so violently.'
Nicholas was also running a fever. When they got home, the adults gave the little boy some Tylenol and a bath. A few hours later, he finally stopped crying. But from that moment on, as Mary remembers it, Nicholas was different.
'He wasn't talking anymore,' Mary says. 'He wasn't playing with his brother, who's only 18 months older than he is.' At that point, she says, it was like she had taken her baby to the doctor and brought somebody else's baby home.
About a year later, Nicholas was diagnosed with a severe intellectual disability....
'The rooster crows and the sun comes up — but the sun's not coming up because the rooster's crowing,' he [Paul Offit] says. 'It's the same thing here....'
The [vaccine] court dismissed their case in December."
http://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2015/06/03/411244055/are-the-vaccine-courts-requirements-too-strict
"In March, the federal government removed the latest vaccine injury court statistics—more than a year’s worth of data—from one of its publicly reported charts. It was an abrupt departure from the normal practice of updating the figures monthly.
Wiping the latest data means the 'adjudication' chart on a government website no longer reflects the recent, sharp rise in court victories for plaintiffs who claimed their children were seriously injured or killed by one or more vaccines....Another recent change made vaccine injury data more difficult to find. The 'adjudication' chart used to be the first item that showed up on the statistics page. But that has been replaced by language stating that vaccines are safe and effective."

Sanjay Jain is a collaborator and tool of the Medical Industrial Complex and was chosen to continue to push the propaganda in the form of a manta to the public. These people are given talking points and specific instructions what to say and what not to say and they will not steer from their talking points. Telling the truth is no longer part of their genetic makeup. The fact that he hasn't read or seen any study confirming thimerosal is toxic and destroys the human brain is disingenuous. Hey, how about just getting online and searching mercury & brain damage. Any doctor since the year 2000 who has not been curious enough to at least do a minimum of research into vaccines considering all the noise of the last decade should lose their license. Why would the EPA state that there is no amount of mercury-thimerosal safe for human consumption? You pour mercury, any amount down the drain or toss it in the waterways and the EPA gets wind of it, you are given a hefty fine. Jain probably researched his next Ipad or his luxury car more than he's researched what he is prescribing to pump into the bodies of children. A professional should never admit to be as ignorant as Dr. Jain professes to be-he's never read a study saying mercury causes neurological damage. Liar!
Next time Kennedy does an interview he should fist:
-Stop saying he is Pro-vaccine. It's irrelevant. He should simply say as an environmental consumer advocate I have thoroughly researched the information I am about to provide and these are the findings. He should present the research he has done on behalf of the consumers and how his research has initiated changes within other industries to boost creditability to his pursuit of mercury damage in humans.
-He should have as many studies (the science as it's called) on hand with the researchers vaccine industry/CDC connections and the funding sources highlighted to demonstrate that the studies the various interviewers are highlighting as valid, are in fact insider created.
-He should have copies of the vaccine vial inserts with the chemical as well as the side effects highlighted. He's quoting information from memory which is great but those pieces of paper will go a long way to convince others that the information actually exists.
-He should find out ahead of time if possible what "expert" will be debating with him and research that person's ties to pharma and tactfully expose them.
I know now days people want to be politically correct and feel a need to draw a line of distinction between the aggressive campaign of the CDC/Vaccine industry and those who oppose their agenda be they non-vac, pro-choice, informed consent or pro-life. It's kind of like the Democratics that feel during campaigns they are too good to get down and dirty with the Republicans during campaigns and there is a higher quality to being civil BUT 9 ties out of 10 times, they get bulldozed, never getting their message out. As they say in politics, its' about the message. The message of the dangers of vaccines is not getting out. Look at what happened in California. Instead of playing hardball with the Democratics, exposing they are corrupt to the core, the group leading the charge against mandatory vaccination in that state chose to throw flower petals around the capital and wear professional clothing to meetings. Well, that had NO impact.
Messaging and exposure via civil disobedience is what was effective back in the day and maybe Kennedy should be utilizing that platform rather than one on one interviews that limit what he can say and if not live broadcasting, can edit out any comments that are damming to the status quo.
You can be heard, but only if you make some noise.

NewsMax had a medical doctor to challenge what Kennedy had said .. Dr. Sanjay Jain .. who asked "why the CDC didn't look at the science Kennedy said shows thimerosal is dangerous."
Dr Jain continued:
"Why isn't the CDC looking at that study? . . . I don't see any reason or intent for them to take those studies out. I want clarification. It doesn't make any sense to me."
Apparently, it wasn't until the date of this Newsmax interview .. June 1, 2015 .. that Dr. Jain ever heard someone claim the CDC has avoided legitimate research that clearly indicates serious problems with mercury in vaccines .. even though Dr. Bernardine Healy .. former head of the FDA was widely quoted making this very same claim of the CDC's malfeasance .. who years ago said:
"the reason they're lying is because they're scared of finding results, for two reasons. One is because they required people to take these vaccines back in 1989-that's when the vaccine schedule changed and these huge loads of thimerosal were put in the vaccines, and that's when all of these neurological illnesses began, in 1989. EPA says that was the gateway year .. and ..they're reluctant to study something. . .that they believe will frighten people away from taking vaccines"
Well Dr. Jain ... you have now been informed of the allegations against the CDC .. and .. if you are sincere in your remarks YOU now have a professional obligation to ascertain if RFK and Dr. Healy are correct in defining the CDC as a "Cesspool of Corruption".
Therefore .. pick up your "glove" and "get into the game" .. DO RESEARCH ON YOUR OWN .. TO "MAKE SENSE" OF WHY THE CDC WOULD "INTENTIONALLY IGNORE" WHAT WOULD SURELY BE IN THE "BEST INTEREST OF PUBLIC HEALTH".
In other words .. Dr. Jain .. you can no longer claim that you just "didn't know".
Posted by: Bob Moffitt | June 03, 2015 at 09:15 AM
THREE MONKEYS. Dr. Jain simply cannot fathom the depth of lies, betrayal, and deceit perpetrated by the CDC and abetted by trusted media. Our children are in the hands of the medical establishment: deaf, blind, and mute monkeys like Dr. Jain sunbathing by the CDC cesspool. Jain is a great example of cognitive dissonance, circular reasoning. Like Mom said of the second Gulf war: "Of course Saddam Hussein is behind 9/11! If not, why would we invade them?"
Then there's Kennedy, God defend him, unmuted. Thank you, Robert Francis Kennedy, Jr., for standing up and speaking out, and speaking plainly.
You gotta see the video.

There are thousands of parents who say that their normal child had a reaction to a vaccine (fever, screaming, diarrhea, etc.) after which he was no longer normal. Why doesn't that constitute a "ton of evidence"?
