Dachel Media Update: Another CDC March in the Making

June 9, 2015, Tony Muhammad spoke at a rally against CA SB 277.
". . .This heinous bill has now come to the attention of the black community. I'm here to represent a man who told me to tell you that this fight is a universal fight. This fight is a fight from God down. And the man of whom I come to represent to you, we met with Bobby Kennedy in Chicago, IL. And when the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan heard about what's happening through the vaccine makers, he told me to tell you, this is nothing new.
"If you go into the Bible, there was a mindset like the minds behind me today. And there was the mind of a pharaoh--when the pharaoh saw that he could not control the people, pharaoh called his enchanters, or his magicians, and he made a decree to destroy all boy babies two and under. Could this be a bill to destroy all boy babies? And I'm letting you know that the black community, we are not going to stand by and let another Tuskegee experiment happen again.
"So, we are in this together. And the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan said that this year, on October, we're going back to Washington, DC. for the 20 year anniversary of the Million Man March with five million people. And we will make this platform a part of him talking to the government, that you will not vaccinate our children in the name of the pharma companies. . . .
"So not only is this being heard in California, but we intend to take a million people to Atlanta, GA. And we will stand in front of the CDC and ask them, we must hear from Dr. Thompson on his findings. . . ."
On June 18, 2015, Tony Muhammad spoke in Los Angeles. There he again talked about holding a rally in Atlanta at the headquarters of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. He wants to hear from the CDC researcher, Dr. William Thompson, who found a link between the MMR vaccine and autism in African American boys.
"Two weeks after that, we're going to Atlanta, GA, with one million people, and we want to say to Dr. Thompson, 'We want to hear from you!' One million strong!"
"We want to hear from you, [Dr. Thompson]!" ...should be our rallying cry.
On June 29, 2006, I attended a rally at the headquarters of the CDC in Atlanta during a meeting of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP).
Paul Offit was there. So were hundreds of parents. They carried signs about what vaccines had done to their children.
I remember one doctor driving into the entrance who stopped his car and screamed at us, "You don't know the science!"
Instantly, the mob of parents shouted back in unison, "YOU don't know the science!"
Some of the people going in laughed at the crowd.
Many of us went into the ACIP meeting for public comment. The doctors there just didn't care. Paul Offit was among them.
MAYBE when a million protesters are standing out front demanding someone be accountable, they won't be able to ignore us.

Not sure how a million will squeeze in between the gleaming pharma funded towers and the fancy multi use residential and retail complex but I'd like to see it!

Yes, I don't know how I'll get there either, but yeah... I want to be a little, white haired white woman in a million man march. My son is likely going to be too busy, seeing as he's the custodial parent of one of those non-African american boys who was developing normally until the MMR. Calling all Americans!

I'm definitely going to be in the "million man march." What choice do I have?
I had another futile conversation with a staff member today where he asserted that it was "common sense" that unvaccinated children should not be in a classroom; the immune compromised who "shed" viruses should also not be in a classroom. I guess classrooms are for healthy and fully vaccinated kids (contradiction?). What happens to kids who cannot get a medical exemption and whose parents work so they don't fit into the homeschooling option? He didn't know so I called the office of one of the authors of SB277, and asked his staff person (in this day and age one never ever gets the privilege of talking with an actual politician... those busy, busy people). What happens to a child who falls into the cracks of SB 277, that is, fails to get a medical exemption and yet for reasons of working mom cannot be home schooled, I ask the staff member. It's up to the school districts he tells me. So, I decide to call the school district...mine first...and I got the assistant superintendent. I asked her what happens when an unvaccinated child who can't go into a classroom does not have a home situation that can accommodate homeschooling? She was baffled. I told her the authors of the SB277 were leaving it up to the school districts. She said our district didn't have a plan but she would try to get back to me and give me an answer.
Maybe classrooms have become obsolete because so few qualify for them, I thought. So I composed two e-mail notes: one to the author of the bill and one to my assembly member in which I described the situation of this hypothetical child who in fact might be thousands of children that fall quietly and noticed due to a lack of a plan into no education, the no educational plan. And in fact all along I have had this eerie sense that the supporter of this bill and all those enthusiastic people who think everyone should get vaccinated before entering a classroom that unvaccinated children really do not exist in any real way. And now that is confirmed. There is no plan, and as far as California Democrats are concerned, they don't exist. So, I embrace the idea of marching on Washington Oct 10th with enthusiasm, and if we still continue to not exist...so be it...at least I gave it all I had.

I live in the west, but if they really do a "million man march" in front of the CDC, I'm in! I'll figure out a way to get there.
