Moms In Charge Presents Dr. Andrew Wakefield on CDC Whistleblower

"Recently, Dr. Andrew Wakefield spoke at a Moms In Charge event to introduce a new documentary about CDC and vaccine whistleblowers and the consequences of repeated disregard. No one knows how better to handle blowing the whistle than Wakefield himself. . . "
Dr. Wakefield described how the medical community has turned its back on the massive suffering of a generation of children.
From the video: Andrew Wakefield:
"Mainstream media has sold out. It sold out.
"I sat once with Sharyl Attkisson, one of this country's greatest journalists, working for CBS. And she said to me, 'Andy, when we finish this interview, . . . I will get a call from the top floor, from the money men, and they will say, that interview does not go out, because I've had a call from our pharmaceutical industry sponsors, and if it goes out, then they are going to pull their sponsorship.' And that is why she left [CBS]."
Dr. Wakefield talked about "the tsunami," the approaching "catastrophe" ---the impact of the massive, man made, worldwide epidemic of neurologically disabled children.
Health officials have chosen to protect themselves and the industry. Doctors refuse to address the symptoms these children exhibit or to even recognize how chronically ill and disabled they are.
Doctors are too scared to speak out about what they're seeing right before their eyes. Wakefield's work has been replicated a number of times, yet the press refuses to report on these studies.
Wakefield continued to talk about the media.
"I was sitting with [NBC Today Show's] Matt Lauer in an interview and he said, 'Dr. Wakefield, isn't this just conspiracy theory?' The press loves that! They love that, don't they? Conspiracy theory. Like that's it. A panacea for your madness. Conspiracy theory. I said, 'Well Matt,' because we were on really good term at that stage, I said, 'Matt, it's really interesting that you should say that because in the courts, in Australia, just this week, in the Vioxx trials against Merck, where they killed thousands of patients with Vioxx, knowingly. There were a series of disclosures about internal emails at Merck about how they would deal with doctors who dissented from the safety of Vioxx. And they said, we'll isolate them and we'll discredit them, and the final one, in court, said, 'We may have to seek them out and destroy them where they live.'
"So I said, 'Matt, you know it's less a question of conspiracy theory and more a question of corporate policy, don't you think?' And that did not make it off the cutting room floor, as you can imagine."
Dr. Wakefield talked about "Unanswered Questions," the paper that resulted from the investigation of the last 30 years of vaccine injury compensation cases, including recognizing autism as the result of vaccination in 83 cases. This happened at the same time federal officials adamantly denied any link between their vaccines and autism.
Wakefield showed a video of the son of Polly Tommey, who has autism, and who had had severe bowel disease and has now had his symptoms treated.
He showed a video about Alex Spourdalakis, the young man with severe autism who got no help from doctors and who was eventually killed by his own mother.
"Like Dr. Frankenstein, all the medical staff could do was stand and stare at what it was they had created.
Regarding the epidemic increase, Wakefield said, "The prevalence of autism, . . .from the CDC's own numbers, . . . one in 68. The risk for a child born today is one in 25, in 2025, it'll be one in 2. . . . Not my numbers, the CDC's own numbers. That is a glimpse into the future. This is not isolated as you know. These cases happen all the time. They're in the news. People reach a point where there is nowhere else to go. Rather than see their children suffer any longer, mothers do extraordinary things to alleviate that suffering. One thing I've learned over the years is not to be judgmental about anyone. I have no right. . . .
Finally Wakefield talked about the CDC whistleblower.
"Last summer, Dr. William Thompson, senior scientist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and someone working on the national immunization program came forward after 13 years and said, 'We have known for 13 years, MMR vaccine causes autism and we have concealed that fact.'
"He not only said it, he gave us all of the documents--all of the original emails, transcripts, data outputs, databases, draft papers, original analysis plans, exchanges with his colleagues where he had tried repeatedly to bring this to their attention. Right to the very top of the CDC. Right to Julie Gerberding, who was director of the CDC before she left to join Merck as their director of immunizations.
"They all knew: Walter Orenstein, head of the National Immunization Program--they all knew. He had told them all. They concealed it systematically, and eventually, he could no longer live with himself. He came forward and has become a whistleblower.
"He refuses to speak to the press. He wants to speak to Congress. He has met with [Congressman] Bill Posey's office and has given them all of the documents. . . .
Wakefield explained that they had gone public with William Thompson's name because "he is much safer if his name is known." Wakefield said he hopes that William Thompson will be allowed to testify before the House Oversight Committee.
Wakefield added that the CDC's own research showed the vulnerable subgroups of children. "And that is what they concealed, and in doing so they put millions and millions of American children in harm's way, knowingly and willfully."
"And so the documentary that you are here tonight to help support is the expose of Dr. William Thompson and the CDC's fraud. And if you are going to win in the state of California, against these vaccine mandates, the plank of their argument from which everything else flows is that vaccines are safe and effective. And if you can pull the rug from under those, then there is no bill."
Wakefield added that there is another whistleblower, someone who worked on the MMR vaccine at Merck. He was ordered to cover up data on the mumps vaccine, and he refused.
At the end of the talk, Dr. Wakefield said, "My final message is to how you deal with Senator Pan's issue. The plank of their argument is that they are safe and effective. You now know, as a matter of fact, they're not safe and effective--and that's just for one vaccine, the MMR. I would suggest to the senators and to the congressmen and to the governor of this state, that armed with this knowledge: federal admission of scientific fraud in relation to vaccine safety, corporate admission of fraud in relation to vaccine efficacy, you cannot . . . mandate immunization in this state, or indeed anywhere. . . . And if you do, and children are harmed, then you have personal liability for that damage.
". . . We need to get this story out. . . because what will the world look like in 2025, if we don't?"
And I would just add that the most encouraging moment for me was when Dr. Wakefield showed a slide of a severely affected child, Wakefield said, "And this is why I do what I do. And that's why, having done it for twenty years, I am never ever, ever, ever going to go away." (Cheers and clapping followed.)

@Science is pure. People are corrupt - Ah yes the UK Guardian and The Times, both lose £millions annually and are kept afloat by corporate subsidies, including from pharma industries. Remember, Murdoch's Times gave Brian Deer a platform to publish his lying, fantasy based, character/professional assasination of Dr Wakefield.
However, whatever the vaccination truth about Leo Blair, the alleged quote from Cherie Blair is 'not right' at all. If the Guardian is quoting from her autobiography 'verbatim', then her statement that Leo "was given his MMR jab within the recommended timeframe." seems to have ignored the fact that TWO MMR vaccine doses are administered in the UK, one at around 15-18months and a pre school booster at age 4-5. Leo (now 15) was quite a big boy when Cherie's autobiography was published. Did Cherie forget about Leo's booster? ....or did he not get a booster? .....or was immunised with single measles, mumps and rubella jabs.
During the recent 2013 Welsh measles outbreak, there was a HUGE emphasis on FULLY MMR vaccinated i.e. TWO jabs.

Cherie and her 'within the recommended time frame' amuses me. If Andrew was there and recommended anything I am sure it would have been a slightly different time frame from the one recommended by the government..
And I see no one has dared to bring up the subject of baby prince George and his shots. Knowing that the Royals are avowed followers of homeopathy I wonder what the compromise will be for Kate and William? Love to be a fly on the wall there.

As it is they were so agitated about autism in a near relative that they apparently had Andy to tea when Leo was 17 months old in October 2001.

Indeed John....and it occurred to me the CDC seems to have chosen a critical time to deliberately issue this press release. If vaccine patches are proposed as a (quote)"Game Changer" in vaccine administration, providing single painless vaccines, one at a time, isn't that EXACTLY what Dr Wakefield advocated for measles and rubella at that fateful press interview nearly 17 years ago?
I was interested to note the proposed list of diseases deemed suitable for patch vaccine administration DID NOT include mumps, an MMR live vaccine component which has had disastrous consequences. Initially, there was the Urabe scandal; now we have the admitted endemic adult mumps in our universities and colleges, mostly involving MMR vaccinated persons. Even Offit admitted the mumps MMR vaccine component 'wears off after around 10 years'.
US parents are in danger of having their parental right to refuse vaccines for their children, for religious or philosophical reasons, trampled in a blatant pharma sponsored campaign, which has ignored parental concerns and what most right thinking persons would regard as the due processes of democracy.
At the recent senate education hearing of the proposed bill, removing Californian parental vaccine exemptions and choices, I was impressed by the number of doctors, nurses, teachers and other health and education 'frontline' personnel, who lined up to express opposition to this draconian bill, which will apply to private and public school pupils alike. Parents cannot even get together with others to share home schooling duties.
Behind the scenes, and regardless of the utterances of Senator Pan and and those in other US states, pushing this legislation, there will be fear of reprisals from parents and other outraged citizens. After all, this new legislation applies 'across the board', including the children of senators, doctors, nurses and teachers, who can only escape this by moving to an area not covered by the legislation, but in the US there is now an attempt to make it nation wide.
Mary Holland, famously asked the Chair of the education senate meeting, how this legislation would be enforced, but was ruled out of order. Were parents who defied this ruling to be jailed?.....Their children held down and forcibly vaccinated? How would the state keep track of all or any child vaccinations without employing an army of 'enforcers'?
This brings us bck to John's question:-

Every time I have opportunity to hear Dr. Wakefield speak I am inspired by his personal courage ... fearlessly speaking "truth to power" after having lost his profession and country.
Webster's defines "Strong" thus:
"physically powerful" .. "morally or intellectually"
And so .. there are two types of courage
#1 .. physical courage .. such as .. police officers and fire personnel running towards danger .. while other are running frantically in the opposite direction. Think of 9/11 and those burning towers about to collapse.
(No one dares disparage the "physical courage" of first responders. However ...)
#2 .. moral and intellectual courage .. such as .. Dr. Wakefield .. standing fast .. standing tall .. STRONG .. in spite of a well organized .. well funded .. effort to "shame, disparage, destroy" his reputation and career.
I am a senior citizen .. and .. having spent many years as a "first responder" .. I have no doubt the "moral and intellectual" courage of Dr Wakefield far outweighs all the "physical" heroism that I witnessed first hand over a 24 year career in NYPD.

Hi John - I believe this new patch vaccine is designed to administer one vaccine at a time with minimal adjuvent. The patches are easier to store, administer and preserve. Although this CDC press release stresses the advantages of the vaccine patches in the third world, it is inconceivable that this new technology would not replace the present antiquated syringe/needle vaccine administration in the western world also. The following vaccines are planned to be replaced with the new patches:-

Between 1998 and 2002, my now autistic Grandson was referred to the Paediatric Gastro clinic at the Royal Free Hospital. During that time he was investigated and diagnosed with Ileal-lymphoid-nodular hyperplasia, by a multidisciplinary team led by Professor John Walker-Smith. My Grandson was treated appropriately by the clinicians, with medications and other clinical procedures.
Like Polly Tommey's son, my Grandson's condition improved enormously as a result of these therapeutic measures; we were and are very grateful to the Royal Free team for my Grandson's referral and treatment. Our family members were appalled when Royal Free Clinicians, Professors Walker-Smith and Murch, and Researcher Dr Wakefield, were dragged before the GMC, for a three year 'inquisition'. Prof W-S called these GMC London premises a 'torture chamber' in his subsequent memoirs.
No -my Grandson was NOT one of the 1998 Wakefield et al 'Lancet 12' children, but his condition was identical to theirs. He was referred to the Royal Free a few years later than these children. It would be easy to 'blame' the lies, fantasies and misrepresentations, of sole complainant, Murdoch employed journalist Brian Deer, but he was sourced, then guided and sponsored by an organisation convened and paid for by Pharmaceutical industries, all with vested interests in protecting their products. Senior Labour Government Ministers, including Health Minister, John Reid (now Lord) and even then Prime Minister Tony Blair, were screaming for Dr Wakefield's 'head on a plate'. Inevitably Dr Wakefield's clinician colleagues got pulled into this spider's web of deceit and distortion, since Dr Wakefield's research post at the Royal Free PRECLUDED any patient clinical contact. Ironically, Tony Blair STILL hasn't told us whether or not his son Leo, born in May 2000, has had the MMR vaccine or individual single doses. This refusal caused far more parents to reject MMR vaccine than anything said or done by Dr Wakefield.
My Grandson is 22 now and still has profound bowel problems, which are mostly unrecognised and untreated. History will condemn those persons in power who have conspired to cover up and ignore this terrible ongoing injustice, and threat to human existence. Thank you Dr Wakefield, for devoting your life at great self sacrifice to helping these children and their parents. I believe the MMR and other 'multi' dose child vaccinations are finally on the way out, but we must not allow any 'face saving' on the part of those medical criminals who continue to prostitute themselves and the sanctity of the Hippocratic oath, to collect their pharma 'pieces of silver'.
