Some North Carolina senators worried about the revival of certain communicable diseases want to do away with North Carolina's childhood vaccination exemption on religious grounds.
These lawmakers need to hear from residents whose children are vaccine injured. This blind acceptance of all vaccines as safe makes no sense. I posted comments.
Robert Kennedy Jr. testified in front of a Senate executive committee. While stressing he's not anti-vaccine, he did say there needs to be more transparency in the Centers for Disease Control, the federal agency that oversees vaccinations.
He says more people would be willing to get vaccines if they trusted the organization responsible for making sure they're safe.
Excellent video coverage The message needs to be out there everywhere: THERE IS NO OVERSIGHT. The CDC is owned and operated by the industry it's supposed to be overseeing. It's that simple. We cannot trust their studies. The health and safety of our children is not what motivates them.
Kennedy: "The CDC is a cesspool of corruption. There have been four now, separate, federal investigations that have been scathing in their criticism of the financial ties between the vaccine industry and CDC."
Supporters of state legislation to tighten vaccine exemptions appeared poised for success this year after the Disneyland measles outbreak, but opponents are hoping the Kennedy magic proves equally contagious.
Longtime vaccination critic Robert F. Kennedy Jr. notched a victory last week with the defeat of a bill in Oregon, one of his first stops on a national barnstorming tour of states considering measures to make it tougher to opt out of childhood immunizations. . . .
Mr. Kennedy has emerged as a polarizing figure with his battle against the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. He calls the CDC a "cesspool of corruption" with conflicts of interest on vaccination, but also has been accused of stirring up anti-science hysteria.
Kennedy is taking the national stage calling out the CDC for its gross oversight failure. This is the message that needs to resound everywhere.
