March 19, 2015, ABC 20, Springfield, IL: Robert Kennedy, Jr Talks To Senate On Vaccines
March 16, 2015, Washington Times: RFK Jr. leads charge against state bills limiting vaccine exemptions
Some North Carolina senators worried about the revival of certain communicable diseases want to do away with North Carolina's childhood vaccination exemption on religious grounds.
These lawmakers need to hear from residents whose children are vaccine injured. This blind acceptance of all vaccines as safe makes no sense. I posted comments.
Robert Kennedy Jr. testified in front of a Senate executive committee. While stressing he's not anti-vaccine, he did say there needs to be more transparency in the Centers for Disease Control, the federal agency that oversees vaccinations.
He says more people would be willing to get vaccines if they trusted the organization responsible for making sure they're safe.
Excellent video coverage The message needs to be out there everywhere: THERE IS NO OVERSIGHT. The CDC is owned and operated by the industry it's supposed to be overseeing. It's that simple. We cannot trust their studies. The health and safety of our children is not what motivates them.
Kennedy: "The CDC is a cesspool of corruption. There have been four now, separate, federal investigations that have been scathing in their criticism of the financial ties between the vaccine industry and CDC."
Supporters of state legislation to tighten vaccine exemptions appeared poised for success this year after the Disneyland measles outbreak, but opponents are hoping the Kennedy magic proves equally contagious.
Longtime vaccination critic Robert F. Kennedy Jr. notched a victory last week with the defeat of a bill in Oregon, one of his first stops on a national barnstorming tour of states considering measures to make it tougher to opt out of childhood immunizations. . . .
Mr. Kennedy has emerged as a polarizing figure with his battle against the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. He calls the CDC a "cesspool of corruption" with conflicts of interest on vaccination, but also has been accused of stirring up anti-science hysteria.
Kennedy is taking the national stage calling out the CDC for its gross oversight failure. This is the message that needs to resound everywhere.

I don't think it entails any constitutional infringement - just a list of bodies, groups, agencies, institutions that they need to bear in mind when conducting policy. Unfortunately, they barely have to bear the mainstream media in mind at all.

Why is the media listed as a Stakeholder in The United States Vaccine System, Appendix 5 of The National Vaccine Plan?
Isn't that against some fundamental rules of journalism?

As a grandparent who's almost 14 year old grandson regressed after MMR shot, as a grandparent of a 5 year old grandson who needs the albuterol in the nebulizer too often, I say hats off to Robert Kennedy, Junior!

CIA, I'm a lifelong democrat, as well, and am thinking the same. When weighing all of the issues, I had to stop and think, the most important is the well being of our children. The democrats with whom I've been associated, have turned turned to chanting "anti vaxer", all the while reading the provided propaganda, and ignoring science. Why, why? Because the designer science can't be distinguished from the real, and the pharmaceuticals are in control . Every thing I stood for my entire life isn't worth disabling one more child. One in a million..they say...I don't know a million children, I doubt I know a hundred..and I have seven on the spectrum, six asthmatics, one recent hpv totally disabled, two others seizuring , some with heart issues , many boys with an iep for speech..many adhd.. within that group of a hundred. I will be a republican.

are you familiar with hopefromholly.com
The little girl ( Holly, after whom the law was named) died from her second MMR vaccine. The federal government admitted it, and in her memory they passed a law saying children in New jersey could get a blood draw for titres instead of having to have a second MMR vaccine.
I wonder how many tears vaccine injuries and death have caused?
Then there is Angelica Black, non verbal and in a wheelchair for life, and her siblings who were also injured by vaccines. ( You can google her)
The federal government conceded these injuries were caused by vaccines.
You probably haven't heard about them, but if you are going to come here to a site with many parents of vaccine injured children, you will probably become a lot more aware of the kind of injuries and deaths that are occurring .
The schedule you were vaxed on is nothing like today's schedule. People born before 1980 had only 9 doses of a total of 7 vaccines by the age of 6, compared to 49 doses of 14 vaccines required by the age of 6 today.
By the way if the mandate for kids passes, you might want to check if you are fully vaccinated? There are a lot of vaccines the CDC recommends for adults, including annual flu shots, hep shots etc, and most adults are under vaccinated. If we don't win our fight for medical freedom, most likely your freedom to choose will go next.

Suzanne: I am someone who chose to minimally and selectively vaccinate. My children are fine. I am still gob smacked and horrified for these parents who have suffered complete ignoring and indifference, even mocking of their vaccine-injured children. The fact that I have a relative who was paralyzed with Guillaume Barre after her flu vaccine helps me to see that vaccine damage is very real. Their children are just as precious and real as those who die from disease. Think about it. Really.

My national congressional representative Vicky Harzler wrote me yesterday to say that she is against any kind of vaccine mandate, that it is parents who should have control over making vaccine decisions. She's Republican, while I've always voted Democrat, but I am probably going to be turning my coat in the next election.

Talk to most of the regular commenters here or on sites like Thinking Moms Revolution, who have seen our children react to vaccines with permanent disability, even death. Are you in the U.S.? I assume not, since you say that children in your country are dying now of these diseases. No one in the U.S. has died of measles since one ten years ago, while since that time, at least 120 children have died from the MMR. Every year an average of ten children dies in the U.S. of pertussis, but that figure is dwarfed by the number of children dying of SIDS or asthma caused by the pertussis vaccine. You do what you want, but let us do as we think best for our families and ourselves. My daughter has autism, I have MS, and my father was paralyzed for the last three years of his life from reactions to vaccines. We're never going to take another of them.

"I'm old enough to remember the tears of joy in my Mom's eyes after my brother and I received our polio vaccinations in 1957. She and Dad no longer had to worry about their kids being paralyzed or dying from polio."
How would your parents have felt if you or your brother had been one of the children permanently paralyzed or killed by that polio vaccine?
"After receiving Salk’s vaccine, forty thousand children developed headaches, neck stiffness, muscle weakness, and fever; about two hundred were permanently and severely paralyzed; and ten died. Most of these children lived in California and Idaho, and most were paralyzed in their arms, even though polio typically paralyzed the legs. Children were getting polio even though polio season was still a few months away. And children given Salk’s vaccine were spreading polio to others." From "The Cutter Incident By Paul A. Offit" page 3
Imagine how the parents of these children felt, for that is how parents of vaccine-injured and killed children feel today.
And the early polio vaccines were contaminated by SV40 monkey virus:
"If you received a polio vaccination in the 50's, you may have gotten more than you know... "

"Talk with your grandparents - ask them what a difference the introduction of vaccines for polio, measles, mumps and chicken pox made at their school and in their communities."
That would be me .. in my later seventies .. proud father of two .. now 48, 50 .. who have made me the proud grandfather of five .. boys 25, 15, 14 .. girls .. 23, 12.
My own perfectly healthy daughter suffered a "rare" blood disease (ITP)that required the surgical removal of her spleen at the tender age of 4 .... my 25 year old grandson has been suffering severe asthma attacks .. requiring emergency room treatment .. since the age of 2 ... my 15 year old grandson "regressed" just prior to three years of age .. and .. is now non-verbal requiring constant 24 - 7 care .. which we anticipate .. just as my daughter's life without her spleen and my asthmatic grandson .. will be lifelong.
By the way .. that "rare" (ITP)blood disease my daughter suffered is NOW listed as a potential "adverse reaction" on at least two manufacturer insert warnings .. and .. my autistic grandson is just 1 of the 68 children being counted today among the ever-increasing numbers of autism in a country where autism .. just like ITP and juvenile asthma .. was far less COMMON in my own childhood generation.
In any event .. believe me .. my heart breaks for any child who "dies" from measles, mumps, chickenpox or polio .. but .. the damage done to my family .. that I believe was caused by vaccines .. over two generations .. is no less tragic or heartbreaking.

@ Suzanne- according to sciencey stuff- the recent measles outbreak is a predictable result of measles vaccine failure. Here is the article from the Journal Vaccine entitled: "Re-Emergence of Measles in Developed Countries." The article, written in 2012, talks about....the re-emergence of measles in developed countries:
" measles outbreaks also occur even among highly vaccinated populations because of primary and secondary vaccine failure, which results in gradually larger pools of susceptible persons and outbreaks once measles is introduced . This leads to a paradoxical situation whereby measles in highly immunized societies occurs primarily among those previously immunized ."
Being scientifically illiterate is dangerous. If you took a brief amount of time to educate yourself, you would lower the probability that you or someone you know will become vaccine injured.

Suzanne, you believe in vaccines (and readily trust the CDC, despite documented corruption), fantastic. Vaccinate yourself and your family; if vaccines work like you think they do, you should be good. NOBODY here or in the government is trying to take away your right to make that decision, to force you NOT to vaccinate. NOBODY is trying to assume the right to make your personal medical decisions for you. Yet that is exactly what you are implying you believe should happen to us -- our right to choose should be taken away. This is NOT about polio or whooping cough or measles (though there is plenty to debate about there). This is about medical tyranny. Life is not risk free, but I should have the right to choose what risk I am willing to live with. Vaccines carry very real risks, more than most people even understand, because there is NO informed consent. How would you feel if your baby was born perfectly healthy, then injected with OVER 25 TIMES the FDAs safe maximum amount of toxic mercury on 3 different occasions (and OVER 50 TIMES on 1 occasion)? How would you feel if vaccines completely disabled your child for life? I'd really like an answer.

I suppose we would feel as badly as we do when a vaccine we allowed harmed our child for the rest of his or her life, and perhaps even led to their death by wandering, drowning, caretaker abuse. Don't use the death card here. It's unseemly. Kim
Posted by: Stagmom | March 20, 2015 at 06:43 AM
How would you feel if your baby was injured or killed by a vaccine and everyone just bullshitted you?
Posted by: For Suzanne | March 20, 2015 at 06:20 AM
How would you feel if it were your child who died of whooping cough or measles because you chose not to vaccinate him or her? Because in our country children are dying from these preventable diseases. The more people who choose not to have their children vaccinated the greater the chance of disease outbreaks and yes, deaths from preventable diseases. The Disneyland measles outbreak is just one example. I'm old enough to remember the tears of joy in my Mom's eyes after my brother and I received our polio vaccinations in 1957. She and Dad no longer had to worry about their kids being paralyzed or dying from polio. I'm also old enough to remember when serious complications from measles such as blindness and encephalitis (swelling of the brain caused by an infection) weren't just words on a page. They were things that happened to kids in your school. Talk with your grandparents - ask them what a difference the introduction of vaccines for polio, measles, mumps and chicken pox made at their school and in their communities. Thanks for taking the time to read my comments.
