Dec 8, 2014, Washington Post: Arguing with anti-vaxers: Maybe not a good idea
Dec 5, 2014, Jewish Journal: Measles makes a comeback
Dec 4, 2014, Longview (TX) News-Journal: Longview doctor: No need to resist childhood vaccines
Washington Post
The findings, published Monday in the journal Vaccine, build on previous research (some of it by the same author, Brendan Nyhan) that shows that providing accurate information about the MMR vaccine's perceived role in causing autism also reduced belief in that myth. But it still decreased the intention to vaccinate children among parents who viewed vaccinations least favorably.
"These results suggest that correcting vaccine myths may not be an effective approach to promoting vaccination," the authors concluded.
So the argument is, nothing can convince people who are paranoid about vaccines--especially when they're presented with "the facts."
This is make-believe journalism. Let's pretend that there never was an epidemic of neurologically disabled children no one can reasonable explain, there never was a Hannah Poling, David Kirby, Robert Kennedy, Jr, Dan Olmsted, Dr. Bernadine Healy, U.S. Rep Dan Burton, "Unanswered Questions," Age of Autism, U.S. Rep Bill Posey, The Greater Good, or a CDC whistleblower, or any of the dozens of independent scientists whose work raises serious concerns about vaccine safety.
Let's pretend that parents just come to their conclusions on their own. That's what the media would like us to think.
Members of the press ignore anything and anyone that challenges the mantra, vaccines are safe, vaccines save lives. BUT...these voices are out there. Parents are listening. They're much better educated than the doctors and the reporters trying to convince them vaccines do no harm.
I haven't written about measles in over two years, but unfortunately it's in the news again.
Measles is a very contagious viral illness that causes a high fever, rash, cough, and a runny nose. Complications include pneumonia, brain inflammation and death. Prior to 1963 there were hundreds of thousands of measles cases in the US annually, causing hundreds of deaths. In 1963 the measles vaccine was introduced, leading to an immediate decrease of measles cases in this country. . . .
The problem is that vaccination has been a victim of its own success. Before 1963 everyone knew lots of people who had measles, and everyone heard of some people who had terrible complications. The case for vaccination was obvious and universally understood. But with nearly universal vaccination, public understanding of the risk of measles has waned and increasing numbers of parents are choosing not to vaccinate their kids. Add to that a scurrilous and fraudulent campaign to link vaccines with autism (a link that has been debunked repeatedly) and you have the perfect milieu for reversing decades of life-saving progress.
Dr. Fuchs mentions autism ONCE...in a sentence in which he's clearly tired of hearing about the link to vaccine.
"Add to that a scurrilous and fraudulent campaign to link vaccines with autism (a link that has been debunked repeatedly) and you have the perfect milieu for reversing decades of life-saving progress."
WHEN ARE DOCTORS GOING TO GIVE A DAMN ABOUT WHAT AUTISM IS DOING TO OUR CHILDREN?
Seriously, I've seen hundreds of stories like this. A doctor is sounding an alarm about unvaccinated children causing autism. AND THAT'S IT.
Autism is that annoying condition that keeps coming up whenever anyone talks about vaccine safety.
SO WHAT IF YOUR CHILD WAS HEALTHY, HAPPY AND MEETING ALL THEIR DEVELOPMENTAL MILESTONES before they suddenly got sick and regressed into autism.
IT'S OFFICIAL...DOCTORS DON'T CARE. They're happy to leave autism as a mysterious, probably genetic condition that only seems like it's dramatically increasing among our children.
DOCTORS DON'T CARE. The American Academy of Pediatrics only brings it up when they remind doctors to LOOK FOR THE WARNING SIGNS.
Health officials yawn over autism, while scratching their heads, declaring that it's a "SERIOUS HEALTH CARE CONCERN" (never a crisis), that may or may not be increasing.
A backlash against childhood vaccinations has caused an occasional resurgence of long-vanquished diseases such as smallpox and measles, and that resistance is unnecessary, a Longview pediatrician says.
Several Longview residents also say they believe the resistance to the vaccinations is potentially dangerous.
Incredibly none of these doctors wonder why there weren't kids with autism everywhere 25 years ago. The Dachel Media Update is sponsored by Lee Silsby Compounding Pharmacy and OurKidsASD. America had to be sold on the measles vaccine in 1963 with the same techniques used today- exaggeration of risk, and citing statistics from 3rd world countries, and media manipulation. As is bragged about here: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1915318/
And none of these doctors will acknowledge breakthrough , vaccine caused measles cases, as documented here http://www.eurosurveillance.org/ViewArticle.aspx?ArticleId=20649

IT'S OFFICIAL...DOCTORS DON'T CARE.
***************
Yeah they do. The real ones anyway.
This is a media stunt, designed to muster up fear about diseases that are neither prevalent, or dangerous. And to muster up pubic hatred for people like us, who are slowly but surely steering the public to the truth.
Real doctors know that vaccines are a scam.

This is the criminal Offit , almost verbatim :
