Best of: How to Deal with a Vaccine Bully

Chances Are You Are "Anti-Vaccine" And Don't Even Know It.

MirrorNote: Thank you to our friends at Thinking Moms Revolution for this post by our own Julie Obradovic - which we are pleased to excerpt. Please share.

Exactly Who Is “Anti-vaccine”?

If you want safe, non-neurotoxic vaccines for everyone, given in an independently tested and verified schedule and combination, you are “anti-vaccine.”

If you want transparency, accountability, and ethical science when it comes to vaccines, you are “anti-vaccine.”

If you believe those who profit from vaccines should not be in charge of vaccine policy or research, you are “anti-vaccine.”

If you believe you should have the right to informed consent, and that not all vaccines are created or needed equally, you are “anti-vaccine.”

If you believe we should study those who have reacted negatively to prevent problems for others in the future, you are “anti-vaccine.”

If you believe you have the right not to inject yourself with something made using aborted fetal cell lines because it goes against your faith, you are “anti-vaccine.”

If you believe the program has been derailed by special interests ever since they received federal liability protection, and that liability protection should be amended to apply only in times of emergency (if at all), you are “anti-vaccine.”  Read and comment on the post at Thinking Moms Revolution.

The idea behind vaccines is admirable, and were there NO risk for possible long-term physical, mental, or neurological injury, I might be supportive of vaccines. No matter how admirable the idea, there are toxins that can cause injurious reactions in some people including babies and children...and there's no telling who it will injure, and the trusting parents are co-victims who have to live with the knowledge that they allowed their child to be harmed. Pharma companies are never liable, and neither are the doctors...only the trusting parents who've only done what they were told.
Either choice is a gamble. Study the diseases...those that the vaccines are supposed to prevent, and study the vaccines...there are plenty of adverse effects that happen but are denied by the doctors. Weigh the risks knowing that both options could lead to suffering. Your child may not be immediately or visibly affected...but other children have been. Is it fair to make every parent take that chance with their child? There's no test or guarantee. Parents sign a waiver to take all responsibility for vaccine injury...so why are we stigmatized for deciding that it should not be our responsibility if our child is injured by vaccines and instead choose not to take that chance? I know that I should be thinking of all the children who can't be vaccinated, but who's to say that mine won't react negatively? When (if) he does react, will that be so important anymore? Will I feel ok that he was injured so that others can be safe? As long as I did what was best for everyone else, it won't matter that I allowed my child to be harmed...? NO. I would hate myself. I would blame myself for the rest of my life. I would regret my decision every time I look at my child suffering for the rest of his life. Because a week or two of suffering from measles or rubella might have been prevented. Because the flu has gone from being something everyone gets every couple of years to something that apparently threatens to kill the entire population every year. Because chickenpox is so terrible to a minority of children, and a major irritation to most that it must never be seen again...while the vaccine can cause shingles to present in children who were never naturally immunized through virus contraction rather than vaccine. Because we no longer allow our immune systems to naturally handle exactly what it was created/evolved to do. The immune system was never evolved/ created to survive neurotoxins like mercury and aluminum...we will not evolve/adapt to handle these...we will just continue to become more chronically ill as our generations progress.
Weigh the risks. Do your own research. Talk to toxicologists, naturopaths, and your family doctor. Look at who has the most to gain from chronically sick kids.

"MAIN RESULTS: We included 75 studies. Overall we identified 100 data sets. We identified one RCT assessing efficacy and effectiveness. Although this seemed to show an effect against influenza symptoms it was underpowered to detect any effect on complications (1348 participants). The remainder of our evidence base included non-RCTs. Due to the general low quality of non-RCTs and the likely presence of biases, which make interpretation of these data difficult and any firm conclusions potentially misleading, we were unable to reach clear conclusions about the effects of the vaccines in the elderly.

"AUTHORS' CONCLUSIONS: The available evidence is of poor quality and provides no guidance regarding the safety, efficacy or effectiveness of influenza vaccines for people aged 65 years or older. To resolve the uncertainty, an adequately powered publicly-funded randomised, placebo-controlled trial run over several seasons should be undertaken."

"MAIN RESULTS: We included 50 reports. Forty (59 sub-studies) were clinical trials of over 70,000 people. Eight were comparative non-RCTs and assessed serious harms. Two were reports of harms which could not be introduced in the data analysis. In the relatively uncommon circumstance of vaccine matching the viral circulating strain and high circulation, 4% of unvaccinated people versus 1% of vaccinated people developed influenza symptoms (risk difference (RD) 3%, 95% confidence interval (CI) 2% to 5%). The corresponding figures for poor vaccine matching were 2% and 1% (RD 1, 95% CI 0% to 3%). These differences were not likely to be due to chance. Vaccination had a modest effect on time off work and had no effect on hospital admissions or complication rates. Inactivated vaccines caused local harms and an estimated 1.6 additional cases of Guillain-Barré Syndrome per million vaccinations. The harms evidence base is limited.

"AUTHORS' CONCLUSIONS: Influenza vaccines have a modest effect in reducing influenza symptoms and working days lost. There is no evidence that they affect complications, such as pneumonia, or transmission.WARNING: This review includes 15 out of 36 trials funded by industry (four had no funding declaration). An earlier systematic review of 274 influenza vaccine studies published up to 2007 found industry funded studies were published in more prestigious journals and cited more than other studies independently from methodological quality and size. Studies funded from public sources were significantly less likely to report conclusions favorable to the vaccines. The review showed that reliable evidence on influenza vaccines is thin but there is evidence of widespread manipulation of conclusions and spurious notoriety of the studies. The content and conclusions of this review should be interpreted in light of this finding."

I once thought that, but there are issues - several - with flu vaccine, and there are issues with the culture. The culture is coercive, slightly different in the UK of course but still coercive (and deceitful). The problem with flu vaccine, apart from its excipients and adjuvants, is (1) that most years they don't even anticipate the right strains of the virus and most flu type illnesses are not virus strain, (2) they aren't very effective even with the right strain with the elderly, (3) the mortality rates from flu are a complete fiction, (4) the adverse effects are under-researched. On top of that it is the same persuaders and the same arguments.

I believe, if we are going to re-habilitate vaccines at all, we are going to have have a much harder headed assessment of their benefits and risks, there has to be a very different and less cavalier approach from the agencies, the agencies have to be disentangled from the manufacturers, and on the basis of primum non nocere the vaccines have to be administered in a spirit of caution and be far fewer in number.

I've commented on the actual Thinking Moms Revolution article, as requested. I am most definitely NOT anti vaccine and have just got my annual over 65s influenza jab on the NHS, mercury and all, and am grateful for it. I am aware of the limitations of this vaccine, but for many years it has helped to keep me free from flu, hazardous at my age. This is called 'informed consent'. I know that vaccines are 'unavoidably unsafe' in some cases, but feel in my case and at my age, the advantages of the flu vaccine outweigh any risks. My choice - and no one forced me into it.

It's understandable, persons whose children reacted badly to a particular vaccine, or regressed neurologically afterwards, will have an aversion to all vaccines, particularly if those vaccines were a mandatory part of a child vaccination schedule, but our enemies just LOVE to label us all 'antivaccinaters', along with such labels as 'cranks' and even dangerous 'arseholes and child killers'!

We will get nowhere at all, if we are all publicly perceived as being against all vaccines, when most of our concerns are actually targeted at just a few of them.

But everyone must realize that there cannot be a vaccine which is non-neurotoxic. It is NOT just the metals and chemicals used to preserve and adjuvant the vaccine (though even at that, people should be aware that there is no way to take the aluminum out and still have a viable vaccine: not recommending it, just saying). The very nature of a vaccine is to be a serum which provokes an inflammatory response from the immune system of the person vaccinated. Without the inflammatory response, no antibodies would be created. But when you provoke inflammation, you not only harness the wind, but you reap the whirlwind with tragic frequency. The immune system can often become so inflamed (encephalitis) that it causes permanent brain damage (autism, behavioral and learning disorders, seizure disorders) or it may sensitize the immune system to substances resembling vaccine ingredients, creating autoimmune diseases of every kind. Everyone should be antivaccine. Coulter said that every single person born since WWII who had ever gotten the DPT (virtually everyone) had suffered vaccine encephalitis. There are treatments available for every vaccine-preventable disease (antibiotics in some cases, vitamin C and A therapy, herbal and homeopathic remedies, the avoidance of fever reducers). These treatments are safe, vaccines are not, and cannot by their very nature be. Everyone must be completely aware that he is risking the life and health of the person vaccinated, and only if he's sure the disease vaccinated for is a very real and extremely dangerous threat for that person at that time, should he even consider taking the risk.

Amen Barry!

I proudly wear the title anti-vaccine too. As I've said before after you know what most all of us here know about this issue the only reasonable position to take is anti-vaccine. Just the ingredients alone makes any thinking person anti-vaccine. Then there's the tampering with natural occurrence of the disease in certain age groups and the loss of life time protection (chickenpox-shingles), the loss of maternal antibodies (such as in the case of measles) all the deception involved in promoting them to the public, the junk studies, the bought off scientists and crony politicians, and the outrageous mandates for school and / or work, which reminds me of what my grandfather told my father who told me "the worse the product the higher pressure the sell" Honestly, I think safe vaccines are a pipe dream. Vaccines have never been safe. I don't how you ever could make them safe. If they were they'd be called nutrition.

Thanks for speaking out (including Robert Scott Bell's interview) and for putting the above so well into words!

Great that..like the bit at the end "anti vaccine"..must be a rap, or a song, in that ,certainly millions of stories.

I'm getting a tattoo that says "Anti-Vaxxer" and wear it as a badge of honor!

Barry

I actually love it when people call me anti-vaccine, because I most definitely am.

For God sakes, all of us are here because vaccines have injured our children. How the hell could we be anything else but anti-vaccine???

I am 100% anti-vaccine, and my vaccine poisoned children are 100% of the reason why I am.

if you are the parent of a vaccine injured child, and you're still pro vaccine, then my advice to you is wake up.
