The mainstream media has ignored the whistleblower story all week. These are the people who for years have steadfastly defended the CDC's claim of no link between vaccines and autism, so it's understandable that they're not about to change their message now. I'm sure they were waiting for some way to discredit Brian Hooker's study before they covered the story. Now they have it. The journal which had published the Hooker's findings has now removed it from their site. Viola, it's time for press to cover it now.

Dr. Frank DeStefano, lead author of the 2004 study, said he and his colleagues stand by their findings. DeStefano said all the study authors, including Thompson, agreed on the analysis and interpretation before the study was submitted for publication 10 years ago. However, he said he plans to review his notes and will decide whether to run another analysis on the data.

The CDC study authors found no link between the age children were given their first MMR vaccination and autism diagnoses. Nor did they find a statistically significant increased risk for a particular racial group.

A study published earlier this month on an alleged link between vaccines and autism has been removed from the public domain pending further investigation, according to Translational Neurodegeneration. In an online statement, the scientific journal said the paper had been removed "because of serious concerns about the validity of its conclusions."
It's almost comical to read these stories. Hooker's study is INVALID? How would the media know? They write what they're told.
Does it ever bother ANYONE IN THE MEDIA that they keep going to the agency that runs the vaccine program for assurances that vaccines are safe?
Have they ever questioned a single "official study" these experts constantly give us? ...Old moms, fat moms, drinking moms, smoking moms, moms who have babies too close together, moms who marry old dads?
Why don't reporters actually talk to Dr. Hooker?
Boyd Haley, PhD had this to say about the CNN video:
"Early this morning there was a video of a female reporter on CNN claiming that vaccines work very well. To support her argument she showed a table that indicated that in the year 1900 about 100 babies died for every 1,000 births and that today in 2000 that only 7 babies of 1,000 births die, indicating that vaccines are the reason for this drop. This is a total planned deception. The major 90% drop in infant death rates occurred before the vaccines were even invented. The major drop was due to increased hygiene ( toilets, hand soap, cleaning agents that disinfected surfaces, etc., and antibiotics and other medical/society advances that prevented the spread of disease. Recent research show that the flu vaccines are not very effective at decreasing flu infections. It is this kind of deception that causes many not to believe anything coming from the CDC or public medicine groups.
"The 7 deaths per 1,000 in the USA puts us at the very end of the infant mortality chart with the highest infant mortality. In countries like Sweden they have less than 3 per 1,000. In the USA we vaccinate more and earlier than all other countries and yet have one of the highest infant mortality rates! If the vaccines are working and preventing these infectious illnesses then what are our infants dying of to cause the USA to have the highest infant death rate? Do we have increased deaths by neurological based illnesses, what is our SIDS rate compared to Sweden. Their SIDS rate dropped significantly when they removed mercury (thimerosal) from their infant vaccines. This issue needs to be investigated by a blue ribbon congressionally appointed committee-not the CDC." I'm going to guess it's because the usual anti-Wakefield propaganda won't fly this time and that they've decided to distract from this disaster rather than to try to twist the story to their favor - because it isn't really twistable. There's too much damning evidence and it's all over the place. They can't hide it.

Yesterday morning I read in the online Time Magazine that the Hooker paper had been withdrawn. I felt the article was very peculiar in that it stated that it is being withdrawn because it was not a good idea for the public to read it. I presume they felt that it might turn more parents away from vaccines. Unfortunately that article was no longer available in the afternoon of 8/29/2014. Does anyone know why Time made the pro-vaccine unavailable? It was the typical boiler-plate anti-Wakefield propaganda.

As I understand it .. the USA has introduced a "back to sleep" campaign .. wherein parents in the USA are told to place their infant on their back instead of their stomachs.
While I personally don't think this new campaign will result in a better infant mortality rate .. it may provide the US an opportunity to lower SIDS rates by blaming parents should the infant be discovered lying on its' back rather than its' stomach .. or .. having a parent unwittingly admit to placing their infant on their back.
I expect SIDS rate to go down .. but .. infant mortality rate will probably remain high compared to other developed countries that do not vaccinate as aggressively as the US.

Brian Hooker's re-analysis of the CDC paper has been withdrawn by the publishing Journal, citing 'serious concerns about the validity of the conclusions' and 'public interest'. I can't say I'm surprised. The recent public statement by CDC whistleblower, Dr Thompson, released by his lawyers, states his present relationship with his (present or former employers?),the CDC is just 'hunky dorey', and he was not 'escorted off the premises' as widely reported on the internet.
We have been here before, many times. Unwanted research results get rubbished and suppressed, and the researchers accused of fraudulent research and or presenting their results. It's interesting to see the CDC 'in the dock' this time, thanks to Brian Hooker.
I suppose it was inevitable; as part the establishment damage limitation exercise, it was necessary to discredit and suppress both Dr Hooker's paper and, of course, Dr Hooker himself, as well as those internet sites, including this one, which reported the story.
However, it is also very significant the CDC have NOT DENIED they changed the study parameters AFTER the results appeared to show a definite autism increase in African/American boys following vaccination with MMR vaccine. Also very significant was the timing of the MMR vaccine administration.
Instead of suppression, these results should have sent 'alarm bells ringing'. and instigated further research. Dr Hooker suggests a possible reason could be a lack of vitamin D, known to be a problem amongst black and Asian communities, living in northern countries. Like Dr Wakefield's discovery of an apparent link between autism and bowel disorders, published 16 years ago, retraction and denigration of an important research discovery has resulted in thousands, (millions in Dr Wakefield's case), of children denied proper treatments, or autism could have been avoided altogether. Again this could be about timing of a vaccine, and possible links to vitamin D and bowel microbiomes, but again NO research.
Emily Willigham's recent Forbes blog BLAMING Dr Wakefield for the lack of research into the (now officially admitted) higher incidence of bowel disorders in autistic children would be laughable in other circumstances, but I'm not laughing.

LOL! Di Stefano is going to check the figures again after ten years? So, the figures showed that the MMR causes autism. He thought it was all right to just let it ride for ten years, no worries, until a whistleblower brings to everyone's attention that the vax causes autism? And THEN he says maybe he should think about it some more, there must have been a mistake with the figures somewhere? Isn't he the one who said that the fact that autistic children had gotten the same number of vaccine antigens as normal children showed that it definitely hadn't been the vaccines that did it? Couldn't be individual susceptibility, couldn't be all the other ingredients besides the target pathogens, couldn't be that a much larger number of vaccines is given now than then. so lots more autism (study based on tiny number of vaccines given in the '80s), oh no, as a scientist, anything he cares to say has the force of inarguable law. Children must live or die at his whim.

Infuriating. That one word says it all.
Thank you, Anne, for your continued coverage of the many morally bankrupt people in our country who work for our corrupt regulatory agencies, who make our tyrannical and often-unconstitutional laws, who preside over hearings and court cases in unjust and illegal ways, and who write deceptive pieces of propaganda with zero regard for the impact their actions have on their fellow man, our country, and the world at large.
The fact that the vast majority of Americans has no idea about this latest CDC scandal, or the many scandals that have preceded it, is truly astonishing.
