I was the last of my large family and my husband's large family to have children - right as the autism epidemic took off. All three of my kids had various problems like GI issues, ear infections, developmental or speech delays, sleep issues, and behavior issues. Both families thought I was making up most of the medical issues and that I caused the behavior issues with bad parenting. They thought I was crazy when I implemented the GF/CF/SF diet and even crazier when I stopped vaccinating and started IVIG. Now that they are older and suffer with many chronic illnesses (especially my husband's side), they tell me I was ahead of my time with the gluten free diet. They have not yet accepted that stopping vaccines was a wise idea for my children, and it still bothers them that I "believe in conspiracy theories". I'm hoping that Kent and Judy's book (and all the other amazing books coming out now) will help them connect a few more dots with their own chronic illnesses and the issues their grandchildren could have. The main group connecting the dots now are a few brave scientists and parents with children on the spectrum. We need this book!

Just pre-ordered "Plague." Can't wait to get it; am sure I'll be pulling one of my usual one-nighters when I'm reading a book I can't put down.
FYI Kent: I don't know if you realize that I'm the gal you spent some time speaking with on the phone a few years back. My husband and I live here in San Ramon. So sorry I wasn't able to get together for that Sunday coffee. I really do have other things on my plate that need my attention, but am always with you folks here at AOA in spirit. - Kim

What is Dr. Mikovits take as to what is causing these chronic diseases? Are we dealing with a gut pathogen? is what she means when she says "scientist are getting closer to the truth" she is referencing?
if so is the govt covering it up so as not to incite mass panic.
