Lighthouse Pictures announces the world premiere of the documentary film "Trace Amounts" on Saturday, April 26th, at 5:30 p.m. at the Newport Beach Film Festival in Newport Beach, California.

After recovering from a devastating illness that brought him to the edge of despair, Director, Eric Gladen, started researching the science behind autism. His research led him straight into one of the biggest medical controversies of all time: whether or not childhood vaccines cause autism. But Eric wasn’t focused on the vaccines, he was focused on an ingredient that is only used in vaccines to save money: mercury. He would end up quitting his career, moving into an RV, and traveling the country for years interviewing experts and piecing together thousands of studies and leaked documents. This film will do more than turn this debate upside down; it just may solve this devastating epidemic once and for all.

“The public needs to understand what’s really happened here because the public will drive the change,” Director, Eric Gladen says.

“This is a must see film,” says Congressman Dan Burton (R-Ind. 1983-2013), who was the Chairman of the Government Reform and Oversight Committee that led a four year investigation into vaccines and autism. “There is no doubt in my mind that mercury is a major contributing factor in the autism epidemic.”

Trace Amounts will play at the Newport Beach Film Festival, Saturday, April 26, 2014, 5:30 p.m. at the Starlight Triangle 8 Cinemas. For tickets, you can go to http://www.newportbeachfilmfest.com.

I am looking forward to this film being made available in Australia.

This is wonderful - and so brave considering the enormous and sinister clout that Big Pharma has throughout the whole world and especially over governments.
I am just wondering if poor Dr Andrew Wakefield is lauded - or even mentioned - for his vital part in this sorry saga. He lost his career over this, which makes him the biggest loser, and moreso since other medical researchers have come to the same conclusions since then.

I am so very thankful that I have had some people in my life that have educated me about the toxins in these vaccines. That information encouraged me to do my own research when having children. I have two children who are NOT vaccinated, been in the public school systems since they were both 3, and have NEVER had to have antibiotics. They are both able to fight illnesses naturally through rest and liquids. No doctor's appointments here. Hopefully, passing this natural immunity and healthy chemistry to their own children one day. Thank you, for getting this information out to all the new families being bombarded by BIG pHARMa.

this is truly exciting!! I cannot wait to see if this film will make it out into theaters across the country. I desperately want to see this!

Having recovered my children from autism, I have no doubt, that mercury is the main cause of autism. Uncaring medical docs are the real cause because they failed us. They don't test, don't know how to test, don't treat, except crap that barely helps, etc. Find the loving docs. They are the ones that will show you how. The rest are a waste of our insurance money and our time.

THANK YOU, ERIC GLADEN! Bless you for taking this on, knowing in advance the personal attacks you will receive from pHARMa, the media, and "bots" as we are quickly becoming accustomed to including in our list of villains.

I, for one, cannot wait to see this movie! Sounds like many of us would love to know when it will be available for those who won't be able to make the premiere in Newport Beach. I will definitely host a movie night at my house for this!

You are a courageous man, and I applaud you for shedding light on that which so many are trying to keep hidden in darkness.

Chilibots suck

But what about the media owned "thought police?" Surely they will try and find some way to prevent its showing? Paul Offit won't like this one bit.

Hump according to Abdull sitting at the IACC table today -- she beamed over at Colleen and said, That the CDC was all to often blamed for all the ills, but SHE appreicated the CDC and all the effort and hard work they did.

Gag, cough, vomit -- too sickly sweet.

Eric, thank you for being brave enough to do this film! I have 3 vaccine-injured kids. I believe only a grassroots effort will save future generations of children from autism. The CDC sure as hell doesn't care to do it! So my feeling is that they need to be removed from any position of vaccine oversight. What's been allowed to happen to our children under the CDC's watch is a disgrace. I have worked in the healthcare field for 25 years and know the CDC has the capability to end this, but evidently not the desire. They completely disgust me now. We need more people like you. This film looks like it will be excellent! Thank you!

A ray of hope here- maybe more than that ! The time may come when people, one by one begin to think- "This discussion of vaccines and autism is just not going away ; maybe I should look into it. Maybe it could be true" i think that is what happened with the tobacco issue.

Kent Heckenlively

This looks great! I feel the tsunami building for our community.

Great Trailer! I can't wait to see this. The background music really enhances the relevant info.

Our genes have become the scapegoats for the crimes of the coal industry, the dental industry, and the vaccine industry. (I no longer call it pharma. )

I can't wait to see this and hope it is distributed online with rights to have viewing parties in our homes and libraries and schools and mothers groups. The ultimate chick flick might be one that finally saves our children. Part of A set of autism films for mini film festivals everywhere? What should they be?

More and more bots on sites than you can imagine.

Here is the what the commenter said in response to the Breakenridge article: "A growing number of health professionals are questioning vaccine safety and efficacy. To me this means we need to study these issues more but instead we see current authorities trying to discredit them. This reminds me of dogma, not science." Beautifully put.

False scientists make me laugh

Anyone wanting to respond to more pharma sponsored media pieces? This guy loves the scienceblogs - talks about conspiracy theories and "misinformation." It is heartening that the one commenter so far says that maybe we really need to listen to peoples' concerns, not just repeat the dogma.

I spoke with Eric at a CDC protest years ago, and have wondered if this project would be realized. So glad to see that it has finally come. Thank you Eric, and when will the rest of the country be able to watch it?
