CDC National Infant Immunzation Month: Compensated for Vaccine Injury Induced OCD
JOHN and JANE DOE 94 as parents and natural guardians of\ CHILD DOE 94 Petitioners v. SECRETARY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES Respondent.
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Damages decision based on stipulation;
v. hepatitis A, varicella;
On October 4, 2010, the parties filed the attached stipulation, in which they agreed to settle
this case and described the settlement terms. Petitioners alleged that CHILD DOE 94 suffered from significant aggravation of CHILD DOE 94’s obsessive-compulsive disorder (“OCD”)
following his hepatitis A and varicella vaccinations. Respondent denies that CHILD DOE 94’s
significant aggravation of his OCD was caused in fact by the vaccinations. Nonetheless, the
parties agreed to resolve this matter informally. The court hereby adopts the parties= said
stipulation, attached hereto, and awards compensation in the amount and on the terms set forth
therein.
Pursuant to the stipulation, the court awards:
a. a lump sum of $225,000.00 in the form of a check made payable to petitioners as
guardians/conservators of CHILD DOE 94’s estate; and
b. a lump sum of $35,000.00 in the form of a check made payable to petitioners for
past out-of-pocket medical expenses.
My son developed terrible OCD after the Varicella vaccine. He had what seemed like Pandas when he was younger, but then it got much better. A couple of weeks (maybe sooner) after the Chickenpox vaccine he developed a hand movement in one arm, like continual typing and then shortly thereafter developed OCD that is debilitating.

Interesting read as I struggled with OCD symptoms in the latter part of University and it was during University that I had Hepatitis A vaccination.
