New Disclosures on Vaccine Safety Data Link
The U.S. Centers for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC) recently revealed, as a result of oversight requests by Congress, a research paper written by Thomas Verstraeten, MD titled “Increased risk of developmental neurologic impairment after high exposure to thimerosal-containing vaccines in the first month of life” that documents statistically significant adverse health outcomes associated with exposure to the mercury-based preservative thimerosal. The announcement of yet another thimerosal paper that was written by CDC officials, but not publicly made available until now, is sending ripples throughout the autism community and elsewhere.
According to the newly released document, CDC epidemiologic surveillance officers utilized the Vaccine Safety Datalink (a large linked database from four health maintenance organizations in Washington, Oregon, and California) containing demographic, medical and immunization data on over 400,000 infants born between 1991 and 1997 to conduct the investigation. The data was categorized according to cumulative exposure to ethylmercury (thimerosal) after the first month of life and the subsequent risk of the infant developing degenerative, neurologic or renal disorders. In the paper the authors found an elevated relative risk (RR) for the following disorders: Autism 7.6, nonorganic sleep disorders 5.0 and speech disorders 2.1. In a court of law, a relative risk of 2.0 typically implies cause and effect.
The newly released document mirrors an earlier analysis obtained by SafeMinds through a Freedom of information act request filed in early 2000. This is when SafeMinds obtained hundreds of emails, minutes to the now famous Simpsonwood meeting and the “Generation Zero” data, the first computerized run of the Vaccine Safety Datalink investigation into thimerosal containing vaccines and adverse neurodevelopmental outcomes.
This early run of the data occurred prior to the CDC changing the entrance criteria for the study making it mandatory that all children in the study to have received at least two polio vaccines the first year of life as a proxy for being fully vaccinated. Altering the entrance criteria by adding this new requirement essentially removed the control group of infants who had not been vaccinated. This would be the same as studying the incidence of lung cancer in two pack a day smokers and a three pack a day smokers and not including any non-smokers.
According to personal communications with Dr. Verstraeten and FOIA emails, this alteration in the entrance criteria was done after CDC saw the results where exposure to thimerosal resulted in numerous statistically significant detrimental outcomes, such as the ones reported in the newly released document. The findings were communicated among the researchers by Dr. Verstraeten via an email titled “It just won’t go away” referring to the associations between thimerosal exposure and adverse outcomes. In subsequent presentations and publications of the data the authors never reported the fact they altered the initial entrance criteria after seeing these highly significant results. I believe Nabil is saying that the United States will have to have harsher and more stringent laws if neurological disorders are to disappear. I am sure he has got it right, it is a civil issue not a scientific one.

One of the important aspects of this additional evidence obtained by SafeMinds is that it demonstrates that Tom Verstraeten reported a significant association between Thimerosal in vaccines and neurologic development disorder both in 1999 and in 2000.
First in 1999 he reported that “The relative risk (RR) of developing a neurologic development disorder was 1.8 ( 95% confidence intervals [CI] 1.1-2.8) when comparing the highest exposure group at 1 month of age (cumulative dose> 25 ug) to the unexposed group.” (1999)

Then in 2000, after the 1999 database was modified, he reported the following results. These were slightly lower associations of overall neurologic development disorders. But even so the evidence of an association of harm remained. The signal of evidence of harm did not go away.
“… the overall category of neurologic developmental disorders …That's an increase of .7% for each additional microgram of ethyl mercury. For an example, if we would go from zero to 50 micrograms of ethyl mercury, we would have to multiple these estimate by 50, so that would give us an additional increase of about 35 %, which is pretty close to the point estimate for this category.” (2000)

This is a clear statement of finding an association of Thimerosal causing harm. It is presented quantitatively in an equation. It does not get much stronger than this in terms of reporting a risk of harm.
So what happened next? The Institute of Medicine (IOM) committee, called the Immunization Safety Review Committee, used additional inconclusive studies to ignore Verstraeten’s first studies that reported evidence of harm.
What does this mean in terms of safety? It means there is no safety consideration at all here. It is nonsense to ignore associations of risk when they have not been shown to be incorrect. But the 2004 IOM committee said this: “The committee also concludes that the body of epidemiological evidence favors rejection of a causal relationship between thimerosal-containing vaccines and autism. To put this is plain language; this IOM committee would not act on those CDC studies that found an association of harm from the injection of Thimerosal with the heavy metal mercury. So this information obtained by SafeMinds further illuminates this hoax by the IOM in the safety statements for Thimerosal preserved vaccines. And the insane practice of injection of a known neurotoxin into the bodies of children and pregnant women continues in this country.
Congress should ban all mercury in vaccines immediately.

I doubt this centers in the CDC. I think most of our "high-ranking" unelected bureaucrats have a sense of what to do and not do to keep their position or get a better or to avoid getting destroyed, and I don't think much of the ethics of most who get in and stay in these places or go through the revolving doors, but I wonder how many can really say or provide real evidence of where the corruption comes from. I'm not sure what the solution is, but getting Bernie Madoff type convictions of a few, while much greater financial corruption apparently has been the norm in the whole world system from higher up for some time and continues, will not do anyone much good.
If we are going to let institutions have this kind of legislative and executive (and judicial in the case of "vaccine court") power I think we are going to have to have a public watch system that really means something in place and a general attitude that respects individual choice and informed consent in health, no matter how much we disagree with anyone's choice, so that individuals who violate (or try to) those rights can expect punishment. Maybe that makes government (force) doing "healthcare" an impossibility or at least an impracticality? Government seems to trend towards taking the personal choice out of the equation through institutions essentially making "healthcare" laws and seems to channel the funding toward the agendas of the most influential who seem to know very well how to get us to vote away our rights and ability to choose for promises of "protection."
As this release reminds, the truth has been out for at least a decade, but our corporate Pravda just pretended FOIA documents in the hands of "parents" was not evidence and it seems like too many in the public have been successfully encouraged to choose to believe that if a tree falls in the forest, but doesn't hit them directly, and the media didn't say boo about it, well it likely never existed and it crazy to investigate. Some even deny it when the tree hits them if there is not enough "consensus" about it. Will the fact that Congress has this document in hand now make what safeMinds and other groups have been saying mean something now? Can the awareness reach the point of more waking (for want of a better word) to the fact that we are being fed vaccine advice (force fed really) from people who are willing to injure so many children, some so severely, either to try to prop up the cover-up or because this is hardly a concern for them as long as they can get away with it, or maybe it's just part of the program all along on the part of some? Will people begin to see how endangered their children and grandchildren are if they don't take back their responsibility and authority?
Preaching to the choir (still)...these people had this data, kept the TCVs on the shelves and in distribution, basically kept the schedule, then expanded the schedule, moved TCVs to prenatal exposure and then apparently seeing that was also showing huge autism injury rate (maybe more) then pushed for more prenatal exposure ("swine" flu, get your "flu shot" to prevent autism).
It seems like people in the CDC felt (feel?) safe or safer doing what they've done because they don't believe they work for us. So who do they work for?

It wasn't difficult to replace one issue with the vaccine issue. The entry into the homeland security act, the start up of infiltrators disguised as "mommies for vaccines" in place through CDC connections, big business blocking the press from exposing the truth. I was left not thinking of this as a party issue, more of the corporate capture and control of our lives with either party being used to their end. The super rich are and have been the real power in this country. They seem to be at the stage of making anyone who disagrees appear utterly stupid among their peers. This is so true, they will deny the brilliant among us, no matter if a nobel prize winner in medicine or a renowned doctor in his field, the right to share facts and truths .

Getting to this late, but I think that Bob Moffitt is correct.
There is clear evidence of conspiricy here by a small group of people.
Add this to Dr. Hooker's information about the significant findings of regressive autism in women who received the flu shot.
Add this to the fact that the government understood autism as a sequelae in accute encephalopathy cases in the NVICP (and didn't disclose it).
This isnformation was withheld from petitioners in the Omnibus Autism Proceedings as well - my point being that individual rights were impacted.
It's outrageous and people ought to be prosecuted.

Not to mention -- on Bob's Point --- if just one municipality or just one school district could sue pharma for all the special ed costs caused by vaccination . . . .and blow all this out in the wide open into the courts . . . going around the corrupt Vaccine Court . . . if a city can proclaim itself anti nuke, why not? We just need a town with a mayor and a majority of council members with ASD in the family. THe odds of finding that? sadly, very high.
And what if just one city's wastewater plant or one landfill figured out how contaminated everything is with all the excreted mercury from all the endless flu shots . . . who is paying to filter all that mercury out of the water? Or are we just recycling it back into the water supply? Could this be another reason for the high mercury levels in reservoirs? And since mercury is so reactive . . then what?

This pretty clearly demonstrates that the vaccine holocaust isn't a science problem, it is a crime problem. A bunch of criminals got into government and are poisoning babies for fun and profit.
The solution isn't science. It's politics. Get decent people elected who will ensure that the relevant FDA, CDC, and AAP officials are prosecuted, sentenced to death and actually executed along with everyone involved with the NVIC kangaroo court proceedings.

Well said Bob Moffitt and Diane Farr. My son was also born in 1999 and had thimerosal been removed IMMEDIATELY he would have been spared being exposed. He was also denied ocmpensation in vaccine court for not having filed "timely" enough even though we filed within 3 years of diagnosis. As it is now, filing must be withing 3 years of onset of symptoms...If a doctor doesn't associate symptoms with autism at those early stages how should a parent be expected to?

The CDC knew in 1999 that mercury was bad but manipulated data so their study would assure us that it was safe. Two years the CDC voluntarily started removing mercury from vaccines although they said it was safe. My child was born in 1999 and he was exposed from his vaccinations the first two years of his life. How many families wee denied compensation because the CDC said that vaccine/mercury does not cause autism? If I was a rookie at the autism/vaccine debate, I would be very excited about this news. I'm so jaded that I predict the age of autism is the only media that covers this story. On Monday the CDC will announce several studies that show that children who are vaccinated are much healthier than one's that are not. Pharma holds the purse strings at the CDC and on down to our elected representatives. I doubt anyone in government wants to lose their job or reputation so they will all continue to pad their bottoms and pat each other on the back for a job well done.

The language was changed from global warming to global change.
Still some one or a bunch of people both in govenment and big companies are still in control -- are still controlling the science by making the scientists slant all their studies (no matter what it is) to global change to get their stuff published.
So if they take the mercury out of the vaccines, and lower the aluminium - not raise it in the vaccines - it will lead to global change because there will be more people living/working/moving around/using energy.
I do not know how to get to the very heart of corruption - it is more than just one crime boss sitting up there somewhere. IT becomes a mind set for a large group of people and to get that mind set changed - well it so far has taking 30 plus years and it is worse not better.

I wish someone would explain why STATE ATTORNEY GENERALS have never pursued CRIMINAL PROSECUTION .. of those agents acting under the direction of the leading Public Health bureaucracy of the US .. who .. deliberately .. .. manipulated and distorted data .. thereby corrupting the critical research they had conducted that provided clear and convincing evidence that thimerosal was .. indeed .. more likely than not .. responsible for the significant increase in neurological disorders of INNOCENT CHILDREN.

I would suggest the deliberate actions taken by the "agents" of the CDC .. acting at the behest of high officials of the CDC .. to protect the CDC bureaucracy .. as well as .. their own individual reputations and financially rewarding careers .. not to mention the enormous profits of the vaccine industrialists .. should qualify as a violation of RICO.
