People need to research this topic for themselves. Most of the flu vaccine available contains MERCURY--the second deadliest element on earth and a known neurotoxin. Regardless of the claim of a link to reduced heart attacks, this study from 2011 shows this dangerous vaccine is both ineffective and dramatically linked to Alzheimer's.

"Hugh Fudenberg, MD, an immunogeneticist and biologist with nearly 850 papers published in peer review journals, has reported that if an individual had five consecutive flu shots between 1970 and 1980 (the years studied), his/her chances of getting Alzheimer's Disease is ten times higher than if they had zero, one, or two shots."

"Many parents have opted out of vaccinations due to a belief that they are linked to autism, despite a strong scientific consensus that is not the case. The phenomenon of opting out of vaccines gained momentum after a 1998 study implicating the measles mumps and rubella vaccine appeared in The Lancet medical journal. The journal retracted the paper in 2010 after its author, Andrew Wakefield, was found to have had significant financial conflicts of interest and to have committed ethical violations while conducting his research. In 2010, after he lost his medical license in Britain, he said, 'I never made the claim at the time, nor do I still make the claim that MMR is a cause of autism.'"
 
Oh right.  Wakefield doesn't really believe the MMR causes autism.  I posted comments.

In these children, the evidence for a n adverse reaction involving brain injury following the MMR that progresses to an autism diagnosis is compelling. It's now a question of the body count. The parents' story was right all along. Governments must stop playing with words while children continue to be damaged. My hope is that recognition of the intestinal disease in these children will lead to the relief of their suffering. This is long , long overdue."

With the first day starting near Labor Day, parents have little time left to get their kids into a doctor's office before another year of academics....

"Michigan is currently the fourth highest state for parents refusing immunizations for their kids. The CDC estimates that nearly 6 percent of the 125,000 kindergartners in the state have waived immunization.

"Valacak, who has seen requests for waivers increase in the past few years, attributes the increase to faulty published articles that continue to be circulated around the Internet. One debunked study from Great Britain claimed vaccines cause autism. Valacak said although the doctor who published the article has lost his license to practice medicine, similar theories continue to persist and plant doubt in parents' minds.

"'I would encourage parents to go to trusted websites like the Mayo Clinic and the CDC where you can get accurate information,' Valacak said....

"The CDC reports that children who do not receive immunizations often grow up with weaker immune systems. Parents must also be aware of the wider range of symptoms, since signs of whooping cough or rotavirus are not as easily recognizable as other common illnesses."
Unvaxed kids grow up with weaker immune systems?   Parents aren't buying the denials and the promotions.  Nearly 6 percent have waivers?  That's only only to get worse.  I posted comments.
