In light of the near certainty that Hurricane Sandy will create dangerous conditions in the Washington, DC area, the fact that many people--including some subcommittee co-chairs-- will not be able to attend the workshop in person due to the storm, the warning that there will likely be massive power outages, and the expected severe disruptions in transportation systems, the IACC Strategic Planning Workshop scheduled to take place Monday and Tuesday, October 29th and 30th has been CANCELLED.
