Abstract
Background: The proper understanding of a true risk from vaccines is crucial for avoiding unnecessary adverse reactions (ADRs). However, to this date no solid tests or criteria have been established to determine whether adverse events are causally linked to vaccinations.
Objectives: This research was carried out to determine whether or not some serious autoimmune and neurological ADRs following HPV vaccination are causal or merely coincidental and to validate a biomarker-based immunohistochemical (IHC) protocol for assessing causality in case of vaccination-suspected serious adverse neurological outcomes.
Methods: Post-mortem brain tissue specimens from two young women who suffered from cerebral vasculitis- type symptoms following vaccination with the HPV vaccine Gardasil were analysed by IHC for various immuno- inflammatory markers. Brain sections were also stained for antibodies recognizing HPV-16L1 and HPV-18L1 antigen which are present in Gardasil.
Results: In both cases, the autopsy revealed no anatomical, microbiological nor toxicological findings that might have explained the death of the individuals. In contrast, our IHC analysis showed evidence of an autoimmune vasculitis potentially triggered by the cross-reactive HPV-16L1 antibodies binding to the wall of cerebral blood vessels in all examined brain samples. We also detected the presence of HPV-16L1 particles within the cerebral vasculature with some HPV-16L1 particles adhering to the blood vessel walls. HPV-18L1 antibodies did not bind to cerebral blood vessels nor any other neural tissues. IHC also showed increased T-cell signalling and marked activation of the classical antibody-dependent complement pathway in cerebral vascular tissues from both cases. This pattern of complement activation in the absence of an active brain infection indicates an abnormal triggering of the immune response in which the immune attack is directed towards self-tissue.
Conclusions: Our study suggests that HPV vaccines containing HPV-16L1 antigens pose an inherent risk for triggering potentially fatal autoimmune vasculopathies.
Practice implications: Cerebral vasculitis is a serious disease which typically results in fatal outcomes when undiagnosed and left untreated. The fact that many of the symptoms reported to vaccine safety surveillance databases following HPV vaccination are indicative of cerebral vasculitis, but are unrecognized as such (i.e., intense persistent migraines, syncope, seizures, tremors and tingling, myalgia, locomotor abnormalities, psychotic symptoms and cognitive deficits), is a serious concern in light of the present findings. It thus appears that in some cases vaccination may be the triggering factor of fatal autoimmune/neurological events. Physicians should be aware of this association.

One would love to know if Lowy & Schiller have seen this study and have any comment. Or Fauci, Collins, Hamburg. Has there been any response at all at the federal level, or from Merck?

Bob, as well as the back-up systems failures, one commentor on an article about it mentioned that for important collections, they should not be located all in one spot- sharing freezer space means that it is less likely for whole collections to be wiped out. Why would they not have done that? I mean really you would expect more from these institutions. I wonder what the investigations have shown at this point? When oil or gas wells fail due to error there are serious post mortems. We should be hearing about it- it is the only decent thing for all the families who donated.

very interesting, sobering research. Good questions, Bob. My nephew's fiancee had the series and has the chronic migraines. I don't see her often and have never asked if they came on after the vaccinations, in her opinion. The neighbour's kid got Gardasil and it seemed like she developed Raynaud's shortly after.
Anecdotally, of course, what I see in friends' kids is that there are more kids developing seizures after their grade 5 hep b shots- of course they happen right around puberty but it just makes me wonder about the aluminum etc. in the hep b shot.
These two from UBC are amazing. Thank- you for boldly going where not many others dare to go!

How wonderful that innovative scientists are not afraid to follow where the evidence leads. How beholden we are to the families of these girls, who have enabled us to learn so much from their tragic deaths.
Offering up a prayer that the FDA/CBER/HHS/CDC/ACIP/NIH/NCI/IOM cabal will take their fingers out of the ears and stop saying la-la-la-la-la long enough to listen to and fully absorb what this shocking report has to say.

Why isn't this type of brain specimen research ROUTINELY conducted in every case where the medical examiner declares the death as Sudden Infant Death Syndrome?

OH, it is not a pill - sorry - looks like maybe a IV drip or a shot.
Here is some of the warnings about infliximab - the active ingredient in the drug Remicade, or maybe it is a trade name. Hard to know with pharma nomenclature.
"Patients treated with REMICADE® are at increased risk for developing serious infections that may lead to hospitalization or death [see WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS and ADVERSE REACTIONS] Most patients who developed these infections were taking concomitant immunosuppressants such as methotrexate or corticosteroids. REMICADE should be discontinued if a patient develops a serious infection or sepsis."
Also says that lymphoma cancer can occur and if it does it is the most dangerous type.
Dr. Burns is the very one that says that Kawasakis is mostly in the fall of the year when the winds kick up blowing across China from the west to the east all the way to the west coast --- and carrying with it a pathogen and before I was kicked off the website - they were thinking mercury.
My kids got Kawasakis in the summer right after the DPT shot. Fall is for those kids getting their shots for school -- would be my guess. And the smaller babies are tagging along with school age siblings and getting those catch up vaccines.
But then it might be the heavy mercury being shot up by rockets by the Chinese to give us all vasculitis. Maybe there are some volcanoes producing somewhere over there.
That is the only way that heavy mercury could get high enough to reach the west coast. Pathogens also cannot survive let alone get up very high in the atomsphere either.
This was the kind of stuff that was being spouted over there.

Kawasakis is vasculitis too.
There are different types of Kawasakis, some without all the symptoms
My kids suffered with reoccurring fevers, headaches,fainting and all that for years.

They have treatments for this?
What are they, I do wonder.
Hmmm IVIG? and now there is another drug available, all new called infliximab.
Is that the treatment?
Funny how they don't bother to diagnose anything untill there is a treatment or rather a pill for it.

It is probably just me being cynical again .. but .. this post-mortem study of brain tissue specimens reminds me of the following AP article titled "Brain samples damaged at Harvard" .. which can be read in full at

According to the AP article, "a freezer malfunctioned at a Harvard affiliated hospital that oversees the world's largest collection of autistic brain samples, damaging a third of the scientifically precious specimens and casting doubt on whether they can be used in research ... however .. the initial review indicates that the DNA in the samples are intact and can still be used for GENETIC RESEARCH. (CAPS are mine)
QUESTION: Was the same type of "post mortem" study for "various inflammatory markers, antibodies and antigens" that researchers found present in Gardasil being conducted to determine if autistic brains have similar inflammatory markers, antibodies and antigens" commonly found in childhood vaccines?
QUESTION: If not .. why not?
QUESTION: What were the results of the "investigation" that sought to determine what "caused" TWO alarm systems to fail to go off as these irreplaceable specimens were destroyed by the rising temperature in the freezer?
