Andy Wakefield Keeps Telling the Truth
Editor's Note -- This talk by Dr. Andrew Wakefield to the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons this month is a reminder of how clear and convincing his message is -- when it's not filtered through the bias and bluster of the mainstream media and medical industry. Here, he offers an update that includes a discussion of DNA in the HPV vaccine. It's well worth everyone's time. -- D.O.
Please support Dr. Wakefield.
Please support independent research.
Please protect the future,our children.

The link between vaccines and global warming is:::::
both are money makers with no risks, and not much work.
Make vaccines - lots of vaccines for ever of disease, and the government (tax payer) pays for most and eventually all of them. Who cares what is in them because the government protects the vaccine manufactures no matter how shodddddeey the product. Good bussiness for the drug companies joined at the hip with politicians/government.
Carbon trading: We give more money to pay for electricity and energy and our electric company gives it to other non productive companies attached to the hip with the government/politicians.

I doubt whether the Murdoch empire has a difficulty over BMJ's republication of Brian Deer's claims given that they gave him space in the Sunday Times to comment on the re-packaging, but there certainly appears to be an ethics problem here (among many others) about publishing research without acknowledging that it has been published before. In her Bethesda talk Godlee gave the impression that the substance was unknown to her prior to conversations she had with Deer, so there really seems to be an embarrassment over this issue.

'Sunday Times Article, ‘MMR doctor Andrew Wakefield fixed data on autism’, 8-02-11'
Oops again!! This article was puplished 8-02-09.
Since my letter to Godlee, (below) the Murdoch's have been busy making sure that this article cannot now be accessed directly by url.
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_and_style/health/article5683671.ece
However, having been in the public domain for more than two and a half years the Sunday Times cannot write this out of historical news archives!! The article makes it clear that Deer's articles in both BMJ and Sunday Times were based on GP records, (which it is now admitted were not seen by Dr Wakefield and the other researchers and clinicians), and interviews with the parents obtained under false names and pretexes:-
"THE doctor who sparked the scare over the safety of the MMR vaccine for children changed and misreported results in his research, creating the appearance of a possible link with autism, a Sunday Times investigation has found.
Confidential medical documents and interviews with witnesses have established that Andrew Wakefield manipulated patients’ data, which triggered fears that the MMR triple vaccine to protect against measles, mumps and rubella was linked to the condition.
The research was published in February 1998 in an article in The Lancet medical journal. It claimed that the families of eight out of 12 children attending a routine clinic at the hospital had blamed MMR for their autism, and said that problems came on within days of the jab. The team also claimed to have discovered a new inflammatory bowel disease underlying the children’s conditions.
However, our investigation, confirmed by evidence presented to the General Medical Council (GMC), reveals that: In most of the 12 cases, the children’s ailments as described in The Lancet were different from their hospital and GP records. Although the research paper claimed that problems came on within days of the jab, in only one case did medical records suggest this was true, and in many of the cases medical concerns had been raised before the children were vaccinated. Hospital pathologists, looking for inflammatory bowel disease, reported in the majority of cases that the gut was normal. This was then reviewed and the Lancet paper showed them as abnormal."
This is more or less identical to the Deer's evidence base in his BMJ article ‘How the case against the MMR vaccine was fixed’. An accompanying Godlee et al editorial 'Wakefield's article linking MMR vaccine and autism was fraudulent', states:- 'Clear evidence of falsification of data should now close the door on this damaging vaccine scare'.
Oh no it doesn't Dr Godlee. You have some explaining to do about your links to Murdoch's Sunday Times and in particular James Murdoch, Director of News Corporation and non executive director of MMR manufacturer GlaxoSmithKline.

Oops!! I seem to have put this off topic!! I am quite sure that all the hot air generated by the pro vaccine/anti Wakefield ranters like Gorski, Offit & Co DEFINITELY adds to global warming, along with the heat generated by the incandescent rage felt by myself and others when this drivel is reinforced, via compliant press and media outlets, not to mention 'respected' medical journals like the BMJ.
During his lecture Dr Wakefield mentioned the BMJ and its editor-in-chief Fiona Godlee. 'Dr Godlee hasn't heard the last of me', he stated. She hasn't heard the last from me either!!The following was sent to Dr Godlee several weeks ago. As yet,(and as usual), no reply:-
Dear Fiona Godlee,
I have been reviewing all of the ‘evidence’ collated by Brian Deer, in his headlined Sunday Times Article, ‘MMR doctor Andrew Wakefield fixed data on autism’, 8-02-11 . I have examined the material on Brian Deer’s own website, including his background material to the article:-
http://briandeer.com/solved/bmj-deer-mmr-tables.pdf
MMR & AUTISM: FIXING A LINK
I have also noted the comments on Mr Deer’s website regarding the ‘story highlights’ and the sources used during Mr Deer’s investigation. This makes it very clear that Mr Deer based his allegations against Dr Wakefield on confidential Lancet 12 child medical records, obtained in circumstances which have never been fully explained, and that Mr Deer then used the childrens’ addresses to visit and interview some of the parents, allegedly using a false name. These mainly GP records, which were also used as evidence during the protracted GMC hearings, were never seen by Dr Wakefield and the other Royal Free researchers during their research for the Lancet paper. This was acknowledged by yourself and Mr Deer on the BBC Radio 4 Science Betrayed programme, when Mr Deer ‘accused’ Dr Wakefield of using ‘Baby Books’ instead; (this was Mr Deer’s name for the childrens’ developmental records which WERE seen by the researchers, but apparently not perused or used in evidence by the GMC).
http://briandeer.com/solved/story-highlights.htm
(The following extract removed, due to Mr Deer's threats about re-publishing his web material)
Mr Deer wrote to Dr Wakefield informing him of his findings and received the following response from Dr Wakefield’s lawyers:-
"Publication of your allegations and account at this time will give rise to serious risk that the GMC process will be prejudiced and the fairness of the hearing compromised," said solicitors Radcliffes LeBrasseur. "You also know that, at this juncture in the GMC process, it would be inappropriate for Dr Wakefield to give a detailed response to you. He has denied the allegations and gave a detailed response over many days to the GMC Panel. It follows that the assertions made in your e-mail are denied."
It was outrageous for Murdoch’s Sunday Times to publish these allegations against Dr Wakefield whilst the GMC investigations and hearings were still ongoing. In a REAL court of law this would have been regarded as and dealt with as ‘contempt of court’, but it seems that both the GMC and the Murdochs are ‘laws unto themselves’.
However, Deer’s article did clearly state that the GMC charges were about ethical aspects of the project and not the findings published in the Lancet paper.
Two years after the Sunday Times article, the BMJ published another article by Brian Deer entiltled ‘How the case against the MMR vaccine was fixed’, 5-01-11. This article was stated to have been ‘commissioned’ by the BMJ and externally peer reviewed. The so called ‘evidence’ in this article is the same as that which was the basis of the Sunday Times 2009 article. There is nothing new. The accompanying BMJ editorial outrageously accused Dr Wakefield of fraudulently presenting his findings in the 1998 Lancet paper. As previously stated there were NO GMC findings of fraud against Dr Wakefield and his colleagues.
In view of the fact that the BMJ editors ‘commissioned’ Mr Deer to effectively rewrite material for the BMJ, which had previously been published in similar articles in Murdoch’s Sunday Times, I am asking if permissions or waivers were obtained from News International, prior to the BMJ’s publication of this material. It seems inconceivable for the BMJ to have published this material without such permissions. Regarding James Murdoch’s non executive directorship of MMR manufacturers GlaxoSmithKline, and his directorship of News International, then surely the BMJ should have declared any negotiations which took place between the BMJ, and Murdoch’s News International concerning the publication of Mr Deer’s BMJ articles.
I look forward to your explanation.
This is an open letter.

I don't take a stand on global warming either, because I don’t believe there is a "normal" when it comes to global climate patterns. They change all the time. But what does leave me scratching my head, are the so called "experts" who believe that human produced CO2 is the root of this perceived problem. There is no way that can be true, and all the dubious attempts to perpetuate this myth are bizarre to say the least.
95% of the earth's green house gas is naturally occurring water vapor, which humans can do absolutely nothing to change. The remainder is a mixture of N2O, methane, CO2, and various other miscellaneous gases. Total atmospheric CO2, from both man-made AND natural sources, is only around 3.6% of the overall greenhouse effect. Man-made contributions of CO2, measured alone, at best will contribute around 0.12% of the earth's greenhouse effect. This is insignificant, and planned efforts to reduce CO2 emissions will accomplish nothing more than the utter devastation of our economy.
What I also find curious are recent reports about the burgeoning wealth, and rather questionable knowledge base of the world’s foremost expert on global warming.
- The link below is, well, pretty self explanatory

JUST like vaccine discussions, it is to my dismay that GLOBAL WARMING is misunderstood too...... people think global warming isn't true b/c of the amounts of snowstorms we are getting. That's just it people ~ global warming is the science stating extreme weather and ferocity of them & the dramatic increase and severity of climate related natural disasters. Just like vaccinations, we as parents need more education on important, life changing subjects. Both are not theories, they are scientific facts. I am appalled at the governmental money makers profiting off the lives of our children. It's a very sad battle.

Jake-I'm not taking a stand on global warming either. I wouldn't presume to do that unlike patronising so and so's like Gorski. Let's face it, mankind has not got a good track record, either in prediction or prevention of natural or man made disasters!!
I just stated a few facts. You are all more than intelligent enough to make up your own minds.
Last year in a snowed up Scotland a man was late for work. His excuse? 'It took me a long time to clean all that global warming off my car'.

every parent need to understand these issues.
The medical coomunity need to separate themselves from big
pharma and become independent to save our children and future children.Professionals must stand up together and
support Dr. Wakefield. Please do not allow pharma to interfere with your work and research.
Thank you Barry,great post.

Jake said:-
'I notice pharma's mouthpiece of the blogosphere, David Gorski, has gotten wind of this - denigrating the AAPS Ad Hominem for its views on global warming.'
The much publicly suppressed scientific facts about Planet Earth's very dynamic climate are these:-
In the Northern Hemisphere what are defined as 'ice age' temperatures have predominated for the past 3 million years.
During the last 100,000 years there have been several short warmer interludes. The UK had a Mediterranean climate (similar to California), around 12,000 years ago. We are presently considered to be in an 'interstadial', not as warm as 'Mediterranean' but not as cold as an ice age!! In the UK the last two winters have been harsh, after more than a decade of milder conditions. More icy winters are predicted by long term forecasters. In the terminology of palaeoclimatology a 'short' period can last for several thousand years.
Global warming and cooling are not new phenomena. Our planet is dynamic and changing all the time. People like Gorski, who claim to 'know it all' never cease to amaze me!!

******************************
It's not just some kids who are being hurt, it's EVERY single vaccinated child. The only difference between our kids and other "typical looking" children, is the extent of their vaccine damage. While I struggle everyday to restore my autistic child's health, there are other parents struggling to understand how a 6 year old can have arthritis, why a 4 year old has to carry an epipen to save himself from death by anaphylaxis, or God forbid why a 2 year old is lying in a hospital bed fighting cancer.
The drug industry has no interest in making people well. Health care should really be called sickness care, because that really what they’re selling. The intent is never to heal; it’s to treat the symptoms of an underlying disorder that never gets cured. The trick however is to get people into that cycle, which is the REAL reason why drug companies are so desperate to vaccinate you. If you’re mid forties or older, stop for second and think about WHY you’re so scared of your children contracting measles, mumps or chicken pox. There’s a good chance that you’ve had or one, or maybe even all 3 of these diseases. Is your fear honestly based on your experience with those diseases, or is it based on fear mongering from a doctor that you trusted to know than you do.
Most doctors know that what we’re saying is true, but they are simply in too deep. The best case scenario of admitting the truth is the shameful end of a prestigious career. The worst case scenario is facing jail time for their crimes.
The medical industry will eventually bring an end to this madness, but it won’t be from a courageous admission of their guilt. They will soon have damaged so many children, that it will no longer be possible to explain away their crimes. That truly is sad.

I just saw the whole video. Dr. Wakefield is the fricking bomb.

Dr. Andrew Wakefield is the most heroic figure of contemporary medicine. He is paying a terrible price for his honesty, courage, wisdom and humanity. Contemporary medicine mafia can be only compared to medieval inquisition. Dr. Wakefield will win, we will win, but now we must continue fighting for life of our children and for the future of mankind, which is recklessly being destroyed by pharma-medical mafia for profits.

I can't undersand how they can knowingly continue to hurt our children. How they know some kids will be harmed, they know it will damage the family. How can they every day go about their business knowing this is going on? And, they work diligently to make sure the secret stays with them. Lots of payoffs, lots of false studies, lots of "bashing" the autism community. We virtually look like ridiculous conspiracy theorists. I am so angry that my son was a victim of this scheme. I will never figure out how any human can knowingly do this. I cannot wrap my head around it. I know it is a big money making machine, but I find it really difficult to comprehend how people can injure babies for profit.

Our enemies call him 'Wakefield'. It is a sneering pejorative they employ in seeking to discredit him (and us).
For consistency and respect we should always refer to him as Dr Andrew Wakefield or Dr Wakefield.
He (unlike many others) is worthy of the title.

Wakefield may be constantly blamed by members of the media for starting the controversy over vaccines and autism, but many of us in the autism community know what’s really happening. The medical establishment/public health officials/vaccine makers–all of them, are desperate to do anything to turn attention away from the epidemic of autism and the growing fears of vaccine side effects. Wakefield makes it clear that they’re losing. The evidence against them is overwhelming. Still, the media faithfully reports the latest no-link study and the newest genetic findings, all the while pretending that one percent of children with autism is no cause for alarm.
They have no choice but to do this. They can’t stop. After two decades of mounting science and more and more sick kids whose parents point to their vaccinations as the cause, health officials have to keep on lying. They’re way past the time where they could have said, “We never knew–we must drastically change how we vaccinate children.” Now they can only continue the pretense of no link. Eventually however, the truth will come out. There are just too many sick kids everywhere, and it isn’t just autism. Very soon we’ll have to acknowledge that our biggest health concern isn’t whooping cough or measles. It’s all the kids with learning problems, autism, seizures, diabetes, allergies, asthma, and everything else that has turned us into a nation of the chronically ill and disabled.

The mention of DNA sends my mind racing - is this the same thing or similiar to Kuru, Mad cow disease that has incubation periods of a year to 40 years to even maybe 100 years for those with the more "resilent" genes?
They are still trying to figure out if there really is such a thing as a prion - or a protein that takes over and makes other proteins do something????
This really is a mess.
