New Study In Journal of Toxicology and Environmental Health Links Autism Prevalence and Vaccination
Positive Association found between Autism Prevalence and Childhood Vaccination
A study just published in the Journal of Toxicology and Environmental Health finds a relationship between the proportion of children who received the recommended vaccines by age 2 years and the prevalence of autism (AUT) or speech or language impairment (SLI): The higher the proportion of children receiving recommended vaccinations, the higher was the prevalence of AUT or SLI. The results suggest that although mercury has been removed from many vaccines, the remaining mercury as well as other culprits such as aluminum and live viruses may link vaccines to autism. Further study into the relationship between vaccines and autism is warranted.

Abstract
The reason for the rapid rise of autism in the United States that began in the 1990s is a mystery. Although individuals probably have a genetic predisposition to develop autism, researchers suspect that one or more environmental triggers are also needed. One of those triggers might be the battery of vaccinations that young children receive. Using regression analysis and controlling for family income and ethnicity, the relationship between the proportion of children who received the recommended vaccines by age 2 years and the prevalence of autism (AUT) or speech or language impairment (SLI) in each U.S. state from 2001 and 2007 was determined. A positive and statistically significant relationship was found: The higher the proportion of children receiving recommended vaccinations, the higher was the prevalence of AUT or SLI. A 1% increase in vaccination was associated with an additional 680 children having AUT or SLI. Neither parental behavior nor access to care affected the results, since vaccination proportions were not significantly related (statistically) to any other disability or to the number of pediatricians in a U.S. state. The results suggest that although mercury has been removed from many vaccines, other culprits may link vaccines to autism. Further study into the relationship between vaccines and autism is warranted. To read the abstract click HERE.
I seriously question the genetic 'link' too - if it runs in families, it's far more likely because of inherited toxic loads being passed down from parents to children over generations than a true 'genetic' inheritance. We know that the average newborn today has over 200 toxic chemicals in its cord blood at birth. We know that the placenta is no real barrier. And we know that the physical (not mental) disorder than is autism, along with all the other related disorders, are environmental chemical-induced. How about we begin to map the chemical burdens of families, rather than keep going back to the old-school dismissive 'genetic' explanation.

waiting for Paul Offit's rebuttal. how about, the vaccination schedule hasn't *really* increased, we're only noticing it better in the child's medical records...

I feel the need to jump in and question the study that claims "genes" are involved in ADHD because I've been working on 3 articles on the so-called mental disorders in children for about a week now and I've gathered quotes from the top experts in the diagnostic field of psychiatry who all say there is no testing of any kind that can be used to verify or validate a diagnosis of ADHD or ANY other mental disorder in children.
If some researcher has proof that ADHD is genetic they better let the DSM5 task force know because they're desperately looking for anything to include in the new billing bible to substantiate that childhood mental disorders even exist.
For the record, I don't consider autism a mental disorder. I consider it to be a real disease and don't think it should be trivialized by inclusion in the DSM with all the invented disorders.

Victor - Trust me, vaccine injured children's parents have tried to take these cases to the Special Master of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. One of the duties of this Court is to review vaccine claims. Most noteably, this Court is in place to protect the arses of Big Pharma! Politics/lobbying... all part of the picture. Need I say more?

Hey, maybe we're just genetically more inclined to get our kids vaxd.

Mix viral, human and culture cell DNA and RNA with toxic adjuvants that are known mutagens and meant to create an immune system response and one has the recipe for disaster. Now lets give them 5,6 or more at once, increasing the exposure with higher concentrations, more kinds of them at one time and then deny that it could cause mutations, recombinations or direct toxic effects.

If they want to know why the rise in autism took place in 1990, they need to read Dan and Mark's book -- Age of Autism -- Mercury, Medicine and a Manmade Epidemic. Then they can stop saying that it is a mystery.

I believe the parents now have a strong basis for class action against CDC, FDA and pharma mafia. Nobody can deny that mercury in vaccines is toxic, but it is not to say that there are not other also harmful vaccine ingredients. The crimes against humanity of vaccine cartels equal those of Nazis and their punishment should be equal.

It's terrific that some reputable organization finally did this study, and came up with the results millions of families expected. Wonderful. But that doesn't change the legal immunity pharmaceutical companies enjoy, nor change the attitude that they may use whatever adjuncts they wish in vaccines, and whatever level of quality control they feel is adequate. And why not? They can't be sued. But (sarcasm) at least there hasn't been a smallpox outbreak in decades!

Yes, but they are still trying to have it both ways. It is the environment but just for those that are genetically what -ever.
"Although individuals probably have a genetic predisposition to develop autism" it took a damn environmental factor to trigger it, so just how is that genetic?

A Canadian study found an overlap between the autism susceptibility genes and those believed to be involved in mental health disorders and developmental disabilities such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, suggesting a possible link.
"But genes can't tell the whole story", said Dr. Derrick MacFabe, director of the Kilee Patchell-Evans Autism Research Group at the University of Western Ontario.
"We have to account for the relationship between environmental factors as well as genetics. This is not an either/ or."

I am not an attorney, however with all this evidence implicating vaccines, you would think that the parents of vaccine injured children could take legal action against groups such as the AAP, and CDC for being negligent and further advancing the devastation caused by vaccines.

I hope this study helps people realise that vaccines do harm in ways that have nothing to do with mercury. It has been a red herring for far too long.

As delighted as I am to see these flickers of enlightenment, I am still left with the overwhelming urge to blurt out ... duhhh!!!
Of course vaccines are causing the autism epidemic... like seriously, what the hell else can it be??
Autism IS vaccine damage, and that's all there is to it. And the sooner the so called experts get their heads around this 'mystery', the sooner we can get on with stopping this crime, and diverting some real effort into finding ways to help the children that have already been injured.
Maybe the experts should spend a little less time trying to convince themselves of the inconvenient truth, and put more time into figuring out who's responsible for these crimes. Because most crimes do stop when you catch the criminals responsible for them

Abstract
The infant mortality rate (IMR) is one of the most important indicators of the socio-economic well-being and
public health conditions of a country. The US childhood immunization schedule specifies 26 vaccine doses for
infants aged less than 1 year—the most in the world—yet 33 nations have lower IMRs. Using linear regression,
the immunization schedules of these 34 nations were examined and a correlation coefficient of r ¼ 0.70
(p < 0.0001) was found between IMRs and the number of vaccine doses routinely given to infants. Nations were
also grouped into five different vaccine dose ranges: 12–14, 15–17, 18–20, 21–23, and 24–26. The mean IMRs of
all nations within each group were then calculated. Linear regression analysis of unweighted mean IMRs
showed a high statistically significant correlation between increasing number of vaccine doses and increasing
infant mortality rates, with r ¼ 0.992 (p ¼ 0.0009). Using the Tukey-Kramer test, statistically significant differences
in mean IMRs were found between nations giving 12–14 vaccine doses and those giving 21–23, and 24–26
doses. A closer inspection of correlations between vaccine doses, biochemical or synergistic toxicity, and IMRs
is essential.
