CBS News: Vaccines and Autism a New Scientific Review

For all those who've declared the autism-vaccine debate over - a new scientific review begs to differ. It considers a host of peer-reviewed, published theories that show possible connections between vaccines and autism.
The article in the Journal of Immunotoxicology is entitled "Theoretical aspects of autism: Causes--A review." The author is Helen Ratajczak, surprisingly herself a former senior scientist at a pharmaceutical firm. Ratajczak did what nobody else apparently has bothered to do: she reviewed the body of published science since autism was first described in 1943. Not just one theory suggested by research such as the role of MMR shots, or the mercury preservative thimerosal; but all of them.
Ratajczak's article states, in part, that "Documented causes of autism include genetic mutations and/or deletions, viral infections, and encephalitis [brain damage] following vaccination [emphasis added]. Therefore, autism is the result of genetic defects and/or inflammation of the brain."
The article goes on to discuss many potential vaccine-related culprits, including the increasing number of vaccines given in a short period of time. "What I have published is highly concentrated on hypersensitivity, Ratajczak told us in an interview, "the body's immune system being thrown out of balance."
University of Pennsylvania's Dr. Brian Strom, who has served on Institute of Medicine panels advising the government on vaccine safety says the prevailing medical opinion is that vaccines are scientifically linked to encephalopathy (brain damage), but not scientifically linked to autism. As for Ratajczak's review, he told us he doesn't find it remarkable. "This is a review of theories. Science is based on facts. To draw conclusions on effects of an exposure on people, you need data on people. The data on people do not support that there is a relationship. As such, any speculation about an explanation for a (non-existing) relationship is irrelevant..."

I am a parent of an autistic diagnosed child. My son is now five years old, he was diagnosed at the age of three. I know this is a controversial issue, and as with most controversial issues there or truths on both sides of this dispute. One thing I do know is that I know my child. As with most parents I know what every facial expression means. I know by the look on his face if he is sad, I know if he is happy, I know if he is mad, I know if he does not feel good. I also know that I watched my child change they day he had his vaccination, never to be the same again. This once happy, giggling carefree child within hours of his vaccinations changed. He became distant, irritated, irrational and inconsolable. He would not longer look us in the eyes as he done just days earlier. The hardest part of this journey has been the blatant disregard as we told people what we witnessed our child change in the blink of an eye. They claim that the vaccinations are safe and that it is just coincidence, and that we have made this up so that we have someone or something to blame for our child’s diagnosis. I have had people tell me that I hate my child for his issues and that is why I am looking to blame someone. I had no idea that people could be so cold and heartless when a parent is crying out for help, by talking about what we saw in our child just hours after his vaccinations. We are not the only parents who have seen this happen. I speak with more and more of them every day. There are a lot of people here talking about things they're completely unqualified to talk about. Science "combats" math? This lady has a "conscence"?
I'll be the first one to admit I don't know as much as this lady or others who have Ph.D.'s in physiology or immunology, but there seems to be experts on both sides saying vaccines do cause autism, and that they don't. I had vaccines as a child and nothing happened to me, but my cousin did and he has it pretty severely. It's obviously trickier than just an all-inclusive vaccines = autism.
If it's still hotly debated when it's time to get my children immunized, I will. The only thing that's completely clear to me, a non-expert, is that a lot more people get immunized without developing autism than people who do, and it's important for everyone to get immunized so we don't have a resurgence of measles and mumps. Which is worse? Autism or paralysis? Autism or death? I'd choose the autism, since it almost seems to me like scientists are honing in on a cure.
Besides, until you know for sure that autism is linked with immunizations, it's better not to not potentially cause harm to your children based on nothing but conjecture that you honestly don't even understand anyway.

I am so glad to see this study being done. Finally someone with a conscious from Big Pharma is coming out. Does the study also cover primary immunodeficiency? I am concerned that my son has it as well as many other children. If you have primary or secondary immunodeficiency you CAN NOT get a vaccines with live viruses such as MMR or Varicella. Maybe this is what is causing the regression into Autism after the MMR shots. Has anyone studied the correlation? I just had an exhausting visit with my doctor yesterday just to try and get my son a referral to test him for PI. After she gave me his referral, I was shocked to hear her say "And if your son does have PI then it's even more important that he get all his vaccines". And so you see, these doctors have NO CLUE that with PI you have to have a reduced vaccine schedule with no MMR and no Varicella. They love pushing the vaccines but are disgustingly ignorant about how to do their job!!!

The comments are almost as informative as the article.
Human DNA is an issue to check up on.
Used in fact to make vaccines safer but is this hard fact?
Allergies arise from use of peanut oil in vaccines etc etc.
DNA from humans may be safe but take blood as someone mentions.
Blood is lethal or very harmful unless the type is correct AND the factor sense.
My dad nearly dying from an early transfusion. Right type wrong rhesus - not known back then.
Contamination is possible: Think AIDS.
So we hope the human DNA is safe but like everything it is to most but is it deadly to some?
Who knows?

If the brain structure is changed or damaged (by vaccines),
then the brain functions will also change.What do you tell a mother who had a very healthy lifestyle,non-smoker,no-alcohol,no-drugs,no -meds,no medical history of autism or any mental issues in pregnancy.But not knowing about the vaccine ingredients she blindly listened to the family doctor and immunized her baby only to have her healthy baby develop autism.One of my son's doctor said,he had brain degeneration.All the aluminum,mercury,DNA and the rest of the toxic ingredients destroyed my son's life and his future.
I will have to work until I fall into my grave to help him and support him.The babies blood brain barrier is not developed and immature.The neuron connections are not completelly done,("wired")so these ingredients will enter the brain and cause inflammation and damage. This is the new world,
where parents are reading the research and trying to find the answers,because the system become corrupted,and our doctors and big pharma failed to do "no harm".A system where
you can not speak until you retire,because they wil destroy you (loose your job,no funding,no hospital privileges,no
promotions,discreditation etc.)if you criticize their multi-
billion dollar vaccine program.If I knew ,what I know today
I would of never take my son to the doctor for immunization.

I thought this was a pretty significant review. First because it was done by one of THEM! Obviously this lady has a conscious and knows was is most likely causing autism. I believe we need to have this lady on either here or on a health freedom radio show to get her on record in public. I think this lady knows what is really going on and this article is probably highly censored aside from the Human DNA paragraph. I'm sure she has some other opinions that would be interesting to hear.

In the CBS news story, Ratajczak talks about human DNA in vaccines. What she's decribing aren't normal vaccines. they are bioweapons designed to cause chronic neuro- inflammation.
From the article: "Why could human DNA potentially cause brain damage? The way Ratajczak explained it to me: "Because it's human DNA and recipients are humans, there's homologous recombinaltion tiniker. That DNA is incorporated into the host DNA. Now it's changed, altered self and body kills it. Where is this most expressed? The neurons of the brain. Now you have body killing the brain cells and it's an ongoing inflammation. It doesn't stop, it continues through the life of that individual."

What this guy believes in is you can combat science with math. Two very different things.
Since far less than 90% of Americans have been stung by a bee and died - math concludes that bee stings are safe for everyone.
Any math study to disprove theories based on TEXTBOOK SCIENCE and fails to use unvaccinated kids to determine that vaccines are a cause of Autism/Autism-like Illness is fraud.

Google "Brian L. Strom" and "Kathleen Stratton." Strom is from U-Penn... another corruption connection.
Remember what Kathleen Stratton said in 2001 regarding the IOM study -- she prescribed a predetermined conclusion, before any evidence was officially examined:
"The point of no return, the line we will not cross in public policy is pull the vaccine, change the schedule. We could say it is time to revisit this, but we would never recommend that level. Even recommending research is recommendations for policy. We wouldn't say compensate, we wouldn't say pull the vaccine, we wouldn't say stop the program."

Didn't take long for AutismNewsBeat to show up and bleat like a good little sheep, did it? Anyone notice him trying to poison the well and dismiss the findings without really addressing any relevant points or discussing the findings in the paper? His argument basically boils down to "So and so is referenced in the paper, so the entire paper is wrong." Lovely logical fallacy there.

I'd like to know what makes Sharyl Attkisson tick. She has been relentless on this issue, despite a total stonewall from the rest of the media and a continuous mantra from HHS and CDC of "nothing to see here". She also just broke a huge story regarding the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) allowing thousands of illegally-purchased guns to be smuggled into Mexico for use by the cartels. Supposedly the ATF allowed this to follow the trail to "the big fish". In the mean time, a Border Patrol agent was killed by one of those guns, the border is a war zone, and the big fish are still safe in Mexico. Few others in the media seem to care.
Looks to me like she is one of the few reporters willing to call bullshit on official government propaganda, particularly when it's trumped up to cover their backsides. Most reporters today are just regurgitators of government press releases; it's so much easier than doing real legwork after all. Where are the Woodward and Bernsteins?

In science, as Dr.Strom should know by now about 80% is theory and 20% is fact. He is saying that Dr.Helen Ratajczak is just providing/reviewing theories.This is usually how science is done, with theory first and then research something that he and the people he represents lack, along with common sense, since they would rather have us believe their stupidity, lies and denials.

So when Big Pharm manipulates and/or buries data to hide vaccines' causative role in autism and other brain damage, they are doing "science."
When anybody else reviews the data and finds not only a link between vaccines and autism, but finds a plausible explanation, that becomes a "review of theories?"
