I am eager to read the book and give copies to my older children who are now having children of their own (my grand children). They think I am crazy not trusting pediatrician's advice on the vaccine schedule. Too late I learned I should have said NO starting with the RhoGam shot I received in my 5th month of pregnancy. I had no idea it contained mercury (thimerosal). I also had a gut feeling about that Hep B vaccine, which I knew was only spread by blood and fluids transfer, not a "common childhood disease", as it is touted on TV ads for vaccinating babies on schedule. When my youngest son received his 3 round of vaccines, he "went somewhere", a different world where he wouldn't eat any more,wear clothes or shoes, he seemed deaf, isolated and fearful of everything except things he should fear, and all of the other hallmark signs of autism. His official diagnosis came at age 33 months after 10 months of passing the buck from doctor to doctor. He is now 16 and most of the way recovered, had some relapse after a "mercury free" booster for DTaP. I said "no" to the 3 other vaccines his doctor recommended. Since my son has frequent bloody injuries, he is at risk for tetanus. That is the only reason I allowed it. I just hope my granddaughters do not fall for the Gardasil hype. So far no sign of autism in the grandkids, but the older two are ADHD and the boy has asthma.
I know of a man who was killed by his flu shot, but of course this was not recorded as an adverse event since he was recovering from pneumonia.
I am personally convinced that vaccinations are a scam.

I ordered the book at Amazon yesterday and received it today, even though the official launch date is tomorrow. It reads like a thriller/mystery novel, yet the extensively documented stories the book tells are simultaneously sad, disheartening, shocking and revolting.

The book is sure to send shockwaves crashing through the medical establishement (of which I am a not-always-proud member), the government policymakers (CDC, Department of Health and Pentagon), the States' Departments of Education and vaccines manufacturers.

The book will be a useful and much needed guide for parents and other adults young and old who have to face vaccination(s) to be allowed to enter College, the military, elderly day care centers/nursing homes, etc...

I have reached chapter 3 and have browsed the chapter headings. Frankly I will find them all equally enlightening.
The photographs of the baby girl "before" with her Dad and "after" brought tears to my eyes because I have similar photos of my daughter Stephanie who is now 23 years old.

I have been an opponent of "routine" Flu shots ever since graduating from med school in 1981 when I was assigned clinic patients who had fallen victims to the 1976 Swine Flu vaccine. These Veterans had agreed to the vaccine following an alarmist campaign about a "deadly Flu epidemic in the making" that turned out to be less severe than predicted. Looking back they would have taken the Flu any day instead of finding themselves with useless limbs and claw hands made of skin and bones the muscles having withered away.
Additionally, many years, the Flu viruses from the prior flu season, used as a template for the current vaccine, had evolved/mutated faster than the vaccine could be manufactured, meaning that many patients, usually elderly who had been enthusiastically vaccinated landed in the hospital after all....with Influenza and Influenza complications.

While we are discussing the Flu, we have all heard doctors make fun of patients who feel like they have the Flu within hours to days of the Flu shot. There patients may not have an actual Influenza infection but their body behaves like they have the Flu. Actual viral infections and viral antigens in vaccines, both cause the body to react and "fight off" the virus by releasing INTERFERONS from the white cells. Interferons INTERFERE with the virus' ultimate goal of replicating itself to invade more and more cells and killing us. Interferons are our first line of defense, only because it takes up to several days before we produce enough ANTIBODIES to neutralise the offending viral agents......Hence, the chills, fever, headaches and muscle aches and pains which are Interferons-related symptoms....so tell me...Flu shot?....What is the point.

We all know the outcome of the 2009 Swine-Flu scare tactics and I was appalled today reading a report regarding an outbreak of Narcolepsy among Finnish kids who had received the H1N1 Flu vaccine. Although Narcolepsy runs in families, it is an AUTO-IMMUNE disorder. Multiple Sclerosis is also an autoimmune disorder and I tell my patients never to get the Flu shot (some other vaccines are particularly risky in these patients)because I have seen to many cases of MS declaring themselves after vaccination and too many MS patients have their worst exacerbation within days to 3 weeks of a routine Flu shot, the primary care "providers" and corner drugstores are too eager to administer. My opinion on acquired/regressive autism is that it will eventually prove to be an auto-immune disorder.

I watched my now 25 years old son and my daughter-the-baby like a hawk when they had to get the Meningococcal Vaccine to attend College, having warned them of the early symptoms of Guillain-Barre Syndrome. Thank goodness no harm resulted.

I otherwise advised my kids to ignore all the hype and misgguided propaganda for Gardasil. It sickens me to watch the advertising campaign broadcasted in the US of A, while in Europe(Continental that is) many doctors have reported an alarming rise in cases of Central Nervous System demyelination among young girls vaccinated. The disorders observed have included Multiple Sclerosis, conditions.
At AUTOPSY one of the cases that clinically looked like "ALS" (Many of you at "Age of Autism", are actually familiar with this young woman's case), revealed extensive inflammation and necrosis of the white and gray matter of the spinal cord.
Horrifying, given that regular PapSmears this day and age should allow adequate monitoring and treatment of HPV-related problems long before the appearance of cervical cancer.

The rule I have come to follow, for myself, my kids, my patients and their kids: 1) Vaccines are OK as long as their potential adverse effects are not worse than the illnesses they are meant to prevent. 2) Any treatment that has good effects can be expected to have some side effects, but there has to be a set limit as to the sorts of adverse effects a patient can be expected to put up with.

I am really eager to read a couple more chapters before bed. More comments likely to follow.

I am most interested in Chapter 23. My twin grandsons (age7) both regressed after receiving 9 immunizations at a well baby check up. They were born premature. There has to be a reson why 1 in 25 premature infants develop autism. We did not know the risks. They no longer receive immunizations. They have a DAN doctor. Our entire family would like to learn more natural ways to treat sickness & most all reverse autism.
I would share the book at the NICU where they were born. May another parent never have to hear "your child has autism". Would love to get the book & be able to share with others.

I'll tell you who I know that needs to read this book. The people who really need to read this book are all of my friends and loved ones who have recently given birth. I wish that I'd had access to a book like this when my son was born, (now 3.5, ASD) and that such a resource would have given me the confidence to stand behind my gut in the doctor's office.

It isn't only the big-wigs with huge chunks of change that need to read this book - it is just as important for the lay-mom or pop who need to gain awareness of the bigger picture in the vaccine/pharma industry.

I pray that this book gets circulated into all of their hands so that they, never need be in my shoes, wishing I'd had access to this information when I was the parent standing in the pediatrician's office.

The Hepatitis B is transmitted via sex or needles. Not through casual contact. You can't get it from someone coughing near you, or not washing hands, etc.
High risk group for Hep B are prostitutes and people with multiple sex partners, and IV drug users.
The Hepatitis B vaccine gives immunity on average LESS THAN 7 years. Often only for betwween 2 to 5 years. Giving this vaccine to a 2 month old infant makes no sense. Your pediatrician criticizes Dr. Sears, yet she can tell you your baby needs the Hep B shot with a straight face?
My son was injured by this very dangerous vaccine. He turns 13 on thursday. He cannot speak or care for himself. Please investigate the danger of this vaccine for yourself. You cannot count on your pediatrician to do it. I would most definitely trust Dr. Sears more than your current pediatrician.

I am anxious to read every chapter in the book. When I had my first child, Riley I was vegan and very suspicious of vaccinations.
I have a mother in law who is a nurse and we were using my husband's pediatrician (from when he was a child) for our daughter. When I asked about the vaccines my daughter would receive he handed me handouts on each, but no ingredient list. We did vaccinate our first daughter up until 12 months and I am saddened to say that around 15 months she had full blown autism.
As of now we have my daughter on a GFCF diet with supplements. She is now 2 and is talking, making eye contact, and has stopped all of her behaviors which make her on the spectrum.

I live the effects of these vaccines every day and my daughter is fighting them still.

I not only want to read this book, I want to take it to the pediatricians that seem so ignorant to me, forcing these strong and unhealthy vaccinations on our children.

I have a 2 1/2 month-old son. At his 2 month check up, I told my pediatrician that I do not want him to receive the DTAP or MMR as combined "supershots," but would rather he get each vaccination separately on separate visits. She told me that the pharmaceutical companies do not even make these vaccines separate any more! I asked her why and she told me it is a "money thing!" She has been my pediatrician for 11 years (I also have 9 and 11 year-old sons), but then she gave me an article by Dr. Offit. I think she means well, but has been misinformed by her associates. He got the meningitis vaccine (the only part of the DTAP that is separate), the pneumonia vaccine, the rotovirus (oral), and the Hepatitis B vaccine. This was all in one day. He was a bit fussy for about 24 hours and then he was fine. Now at his 4 month check up, I am unsure what to do. I need to research things a lot. I told my pediatrician that over 1 in 100 kids are diagnosed with Autism, but how many get Diptheria? She is old-school (residency in 1974). She also told me that I shouldn't read Dr. Sears (the long-time pediatrician), because his claims have no scientific date to back them up. That doesn't really matter to me. I speak with other moms and we advise each other all of the time, but we do not have scientific data. If any of you have some advice or article suggestions that I can use to present to my pediatrician in order to defend my case, I would appreciate it greatly. Peace and blessings to you all!

I've already received my copy and can barely put it down. I have a friend in the military that I would love to send a copy to. They are currently deployed and had to take all of the ugly vaccines that go along with it. Without saying too much out of safety concerns, this person is in a position with media connections and really needs to read this book. This one is tougher, because I know several who would benefit from the book, but few who would accept the "invitation." I'm wondering if the layout of this book would be a plus. "Oh, I just read an essay on that topic! I believe it's the Nth chapter in this book. If you'd like to take an hour or two to look at it, I'd be happy to loan you my book..." Maybe some might read more than just chapter N?

8 years ago when I had my daughter, I was very wary of the way vaccines were being given all together. Pediatricians would want to give her 2 shots at a time with 3 to 4 vaccines in each shot. That's about 8 diseases in one day being administered to a 2 month old baby. Absurd. I found a pediatrician who was lenient and allowed me to wait until my child was 3 months old before getting any shots and then I only allowed one shot at a time every few months. I refused the Hep B shot until she was 5. (I fought off nurses trying to give my newborn the HepB shot only minutes out of the womb). I believe putting our children at risk simply for the doctor's convenience of having to administer less shots and having less office visits is a poor excuse. I think that vaccines can be beneficial if administered in a way that is safe, allowing the body to build up the necessary antibodies slowly, one disease at a time. I also don't believe that we need a vaccine for every disease such as chicken pox or the flu. If they could, they would be coming up with a vaccine for the common cold. Pharmas are just out to make money, it seems that the health and safety of people are not their concern. This book I hope will wake up more parents and pediatricians to the dangers of vaccines.

However the chapter I'm looking forward to the most is chapter 7 : An urgent call for more research. I became a Mom in my freshmen year of college, and since then had two children with autism and all three of my children have PANDAS. So I've never been back to college because my children need me at home. However I've done so much research that I wish you could just take a test to get a doctorate...I have delusions of granduer that I'd get it:)My point is I can't wait for more research to be out there so that when I need my kids to be healed, I won't have to spend weeks researching to figure out what needs done because I'm not going to get help at the pediatrician's office. Once there is more research on vaccine safety and connection to autism I'm hoping to one day...gasp...be able to go to my doctor for help with my sick children.I'd like to not have to be a one time teenage Mom who needs to do the work of a doctor because my doctor won't help.I look to the day when I don't have to watch my children suffer because we can't afford special help, and we can't get mainstream help. I look to the day when everyone knows the truth about vaccines and their dangers. Mostly I look to the day when no more children will be harmed, and more families made to suffer throug what my family has suffered through.Come on you shifty government officials! There are so many chapters that I want to read including the one authored by Carol and Andy. However, I think I am most interested in Chapter 13: My Daughter is "One Less" by Amy Pingel. I have 2 step daughters age 7 and 9. I have been sharing information with their mother about the HPV vaccine. I hope I can convince her to teach them safe sex instead of senseless and risky vaccination.

I was surprised to see several reviews even though the book has not yet been launched. One "Maginot", an obvious admirer of Dr Offit and his most recent book, went on a rant against us "the nay-sayers". I am not even sure he took the time to read "Vaccine Epidemic".
I have always been opposed to the "one size fits all" type of medicine currently in vogue, as too many patients "fall between the cracks".
My daughter became autistic during her second year, in 1988. It was a time when I was told that there was no such thing as "becoming autistic". This placed me right away in the "hysterical mother" category....my behavior was considered even "more appalling" because I happened to be a neurologist.
At that time I was not even YET blaming her MMR!
My daughter proved to have a severe case of Lyme disease, with the highest antibody titer any of her doctors had ever seen
(Note that no one would order the test, my husband ordered it!).
Lyme disease has been described as aggravating the symptoms of autism (References available on request), however a total 3 months of IV antibiotics failed to restore my daughter's speech and social skills. The treatment did take care of the fever and other non-neurological symptoms.
By 1992, I had to come to terms with the fact that Lyme neuroborreliosis could not explain her most disabling symptoms. I went back to look at her history: she likely contracted Lyme disease during the week in June 1988 spent in Rhode Island (This in spite of constant "tick patrols" we submit our kids to since we live and vacation in areas endemic for Lyme). Two days after our return, she received the MMR and the same evening spiked a temperature up to F 104.0)
By 1992, I came to the realization that babies younger than my daughter wewe "becoming autistic".
As a neurologist I had witnessed firsthand what vaccines could do to adults (including patients with MS-my sub-specialty- a stance that has own me the scorn of colleagues but the respect of my patients)....and now to my daughter among many other babies.
I have 2 other children both college grads, who never experienced either Lyme disease or vaccine-related complications. What made Stephanie's immune system go haywire??
The job ahead is to identify the risk factors that cause some of us to react devastatingly to vaccinations.
Last but not least, common sense should also guide the need to vaccinate: stay away from vaccines with potential side effects more devastating than the illnesses they are meant to prevent.

I have looked all over Amazon, the website and clicked on the book and where are the chapters listed? I don't see them. I would like to contribute but need the information on the chapters.

What I'm observing is that vaccine enthusiasts rarely talk about getting up to date on THEIR vaccines. They want other people to get jabbed, especially babies, but they aren't generally at the front of the line themselves. Hypocrites!

Vaccination Choice Is a Fundamental Human Right (Chapter 1)

This is top priority for me. I am continuely shocked that so many Americans are not up in arms about this blatant attack on their most basic human right. What good is Free Speech if you are forced to be injected with biologicals against your will? If you cannot control what foreign material is injected into your body, I don't see what other rights can compensate for that.

I think once more Americans learn about this important topic, they will choose to protect their rights.
