Alison Singer Feeds the Hungry Lie
The dueling press releases from Autism Speaks and the Autism Science Foundation last week regarding the IACC’s plans for studying/not studying autism were a sight to behold. Unfortunately, I think Alison Singer’s press release was more accurate, and that the IACC has all but abandoned anything to do with research into vaccines and autism. Are any of us really that surprised?
More frustrating for me, however, than even the IACC’s bureaucratic bunglings and fear of truth (because I expect that from government pinheads) is the ongoing willingness of people like Ms. Singer to simply lie about the science that has been done regarding vaccines and their possible relationship to causing autism.
Let’s look at Ms. Singer’s actual words from her press release:
“More than a dozen studies indicate that neither vaccines nor any specific ingredients in vaccines cause autism. The IACC affirmed that there is no reason to call out vaccines as a specific area worthy of further study in relation to autism,” said Singer. “Vaccine safety research is an ongoing process at the CDC. If some new science were uncovered that brought vaccines into question, then new studies could be done under the auspices of this strategic plan. But there is nothing in the plan that specifically calls for additional vaccine research because there are no data implicating vaccines as a possible cause of autism. While research on environmental factors is important, it makes little sense to pursue a specific study of vaccines, the one environmental factor that science has already ruled out.”
If I weren’t already so jaded and cynical, I would let out a giant scream right now…but I’m used to this.
Ms. Singer is simply saying things that Paul Offit, Tom Insel, Amy Wallace, Geraldine Dawson, David Gorski, Steven Novella and many other supposedly smart people have also been saying: that “the science has spoken, vaccines do not cause autism.” This makes every single one of them a blazing liar, nothing more.
I have written extensively on this hungry lie. ( See Tayloe, Offit, Minshew, Katz, Snyderman, et. al.: Feeding a Hungry Lie and Alison Singer Feeds the Hungry Lie Twice.)
Heck, I even created a website, Fourteen Studies to refute the hungry lie with details and show the world how weak the science really is that people like Ms. Singer continually refer to. For those of you who may be new to this debate, here’s a brief summary of the hungry lie I wrote about recently (HERE) in discussing Amy Wallace’s willingness to repeat the hungry lie in Wired Magazine:
As I mentioned, the cover of the Wired article says “vaccines don’t cause autism”, which Ms. Wallace repeats throughout her article. And, yet, when pressed to site the specifics of what research has been done, Ms. Wallace herself spells out that only a single vaccine – MMR – has ever been studied for its relationship to autism. How do you get from one vaccine, which comprises exactly 2 of the 36 vaccines children receive before the age of 5, to saying “vaccines (including the other 34)” don’t cause autism? It’s like saying, because the Vioxx trials went well, Viagra is OK, too. Are the other 34 shots safe through the transitive property?
Just so we all understand what a blazing lie this really is, here’s a summary of shots children receive in just their first 6 months:
Birth: Hep B, 2 month visit: Hepatitis B, Rotavirus, DTP, Hib, Pneumococcal, Polio 4 month visit: Hepatitis B, Rotavirus, DTP, Hib, Pneumococcal, Polio 6 month visit: Hepatitis B, Rotavirus, DTP, Hib, Pneumococcal, Polio, Flu
In the first 6 months of life, 20 shots – and no MMR. Ms. Wallace, if a parent has their child react at one of these appointments and descend into autism, please point all of us at the science that shows it couldn’t possibly be the (unstudied) vaccines.
There you have it: the hungry lie deconstructed. Somehow, these “scientists” and “experts” on vaccines and autism think that if you study 2 of 36 vaccines our kids get, you have studied the relationship between vaccines and autism. It’s utter madness.
* * *
Just for fun, I am going to break down Ms. Singer’s statement, point by point, to demonstrate what a liar she really is:
#1 LIE:
“More than a dozen studies indicate that neither vaccines nor any specific ingredients in vaccines cause autism.”
Refutation of the lie:
Exactly one vaccine, MMR, has been studied for its relationship to autism. This shot is given 2 times before a child is 5. That leaves 34 shots children receive that HAVE NOT been studied, making the statement implying vaccines have been studied and do not cause autism to be 100% untrue.
Further, there are 81 ingredients in vaccines according to this document from the CDC (HERE). So far, ONE ingredient, Thimerosal, has actually been studied for its relationship to autism, leaving 80 ingredients that have NEVER been studied, making Ms. Singer’s comments above even a bigger lie.
LIE #2:
“If some new science were uncovered that brought vaccines into question, then new studies could be done under the auspices of this strategic plan. But there is nothing in the plan that specifically calls for additional vaccine research because there are no data implicating vaccines as a possible cause of autism.”
Hmm…Hmm…new science? Like these perhaps:
Mark Blaxill recently reported (HERE):
“A research team led by scientists from the University of Pittsburgh and Thoughtful House reported today that exposure to a birth dose of a hepatitis B vaccine that included an ethyl mercury preservative caused significant delays in the development of several survival reflexes in male rhesus macaque monkeys. The findings were published on line today in the journal Neurotoxicology.[You can purchase the article from Science Direct (HERE).”
Additionally, a recent study published in the journal the Annals of Epidemiology titled “Hepatitis B Vaccination of Male Neonates and Autism” (HERE) found that “Boys who received the hepatitis B vaccine during the first month of life had 2.94 greater odds for ASD [autism] compared to later- or unvaccinated boys.”
Again, I ask the simple question: did you see either of these new studies? Do you know that even more are on the way?
LIE #3:
“While research on environmental factors is important, it makes little sense to pursue a specific study of vaccines, the one environmental factor that science has already ruled out.”
This is really just a continuation of the first lie Ms. Singer tells, but she builds on the first lie to feign the exasperation many on the other side try to do that vaccines have already been looked at so let’s move on. It is a dishonest whitewash, nothing more.
Why are Ms. Singer and others so willing to feed this hungry lie? We continue, everyday, to hear reports of children who regress after vaccine appointments where they receive multiple vaccines at one time. There is nothing anywhere in the scientific literature to help us understand if these vaccines, always administered in combination, are doing what hundreds of thousands of parents claim they are doing: causing autism in their children.
Why are you lying, Ms. Singer? Have you not read the actual studies? Do you not personally believe vaccines cause autism so you don’t actually care what has or hasn’t been studied? It’s unacceptable, it’s dishonest. In the end, it’s simply a lie.
How do we parents ever trust people who will lie so freely and easily about something this important?

The basically rampant fraud and corruption of the nations major institutions, both public and private, does not look to end very soon, which is what we are up against.
What other nation poisons their children and cannot seem to get their act together in any manner to stop it ???
However, as Wall Street cannot sell mortgage packages very well anymore, we will soon have cap and trade futures coming out of Chicago to save the nation...

To stop the madness and the continuous distortion of information I propose a study, for Generation Rescue perhaps, about vaccinated vs. unvaccinated siblings in families where at least one kid has an ASD diagnosis. This could be done by phone interviews or online, recording verifiable information about families not to be published to avoid distortions done on purpose (names, addresses, vaccine records and, maybe, proof of ASD diagnosis).
This stupid debate has been going on far too long. There has to be thousands of families out there with ASD diagnoses on older vaccinated children and subsequent neurotypical siblings that have received no vaccines, after their parents learned about vaccine risks the hard way. My family is one of these and from comments on multiple chats like these I've read about dozens of similar cases. If the correlation of vax and ASD is as high as expected, there would not room whatsoever for "coincidence" or anecdotal results. The smoking gun would be uncovered. I got two kids: a vaccinated 7 year old with ASD and an unvaccinated 9 month old with no signs of ASD whatsoever (we know what to look for and we watch him closely). From what I've read for the past 4 years I am definitely not alone.

I have 4 children ranging in age from 3-18. I am also a RN. Back when my now 4 year old was diagnosed with ASD, I was looking at everything as a potential cause. I pulled out all of my children's vaccine records and examined them with great scrutiny. I would have to pull them out again to really scrutinize this again, but I recall...
My older two did NOT receive the varicella vaccine because they got chicken pox before the vaccine came out, whew! My 2nd son did develop pneumonia as a secondary infection and was hospitalized at the age of 2 for five days. Today, we can adequately treat pneumonia. If parents are given a choice of the risk of autism or the risk of getting pneumonia as a secondary infection, I am sure they would opt for the latter.
My younger two did receive the varicella vaccine. In addition, the older two received oral polio vs injectable polio. The preservative and adjuvent make up is much different in oral vs. injectable.
Now, think about this. AOA posted a study, "Disingenuous CDC Study Confirms Danger of Chicken-pox Vaccine" http://www.ageofautism.com/2009/11/disingenuous-cdc-study-confirms-danger-of-chicken-pox-vaccine.html
After reading this, you will note that your child is now at risk of developing shingles. And what is shingles? Shingles (herpes zoster) is a viral infection of the NERVE roots!
Autism is a NEURObiological disorder. So, why is not greater examination being done with the varicella vaccine. The CDC hand out does state "severe brain reaction" as a side effect. The hand out goes on to say that the MMRV is available which combines the MMR and varicella and that this poses even greater risks. My younger sons did not receive the MMRV. Whew!
Also, I wanted to add that when my older two were in middle school, there was a pertussis outbreak. These kids were vaccinated and still developed pertussis which was adequately managed with today's medical treatments.
I am a firm believer in allowing our immune systems to fight the good fight. A flu virus went around my older son's college dorm. Of course, H1N1 was the buzz word. Of course, none of these kids were tested for it. What did this nurse tell her son? Take your echinacea, vitamin C and your multivits. Get rest. Drink fluids. Don't let stress get the better of you. His symptoms resolved in 2 days. The rest of the kids lasted a week or more and some went to the hospital. I even have gummy bear echinacea for the tots...they are natural immune boosters which help our bodies fight the good fight.
As Oliver Stonish as this sounds, I believe in my heart that there is a monetary connection to all these people who will not look at vaccines as a potential cause to autism.
Another spin is that of testing children before they receive the vaccine schedules. Are they are risk for autoimmune diseases or severe allergic responses? Is there a family history of autoimmune disease and allergies? None of this is considered either.
Keep up your tenacious work, J.B.! You are awesome. Has an informal survey been completed by parents of autism around the world that would examine immune/allergy history? That would evaluate their specific vaccination schedule? That might examine if a child received a vaccination at a time when their body was dealing with an allergic response already, like eczema? All the garnered facts may help prove our points...power in numbers!

These people all know exactly what they are doing and saying and it is up to us to expose it and demand a punishment or perform it. Yes unfortunately this will get uncomfortable for all of us because we will have to be men and women or choose to be mice.
Paul Shapiro please do not be stupid this is bigger than thimerosol. My child recieved thimerosol free vaccines and here I am on this blogg at 1:00am.If you must, your granchild should get the same vaccines you got, Polio and when she is a little older tetanus. Of course that being said if I could do it all over again my children would get none, nada. These fascist Nazi "progressives" cannot be trusted at all and neither can their studies or the corporations that they they represent. This is a form of eugenics plain and simple and just as misguided and nefarious with the people in charge just as twisted like Singer

I wasted 4 years from 1998 to 2001 trying to get the NIH and CDC to fund viral-autoimmunity research. Apparently others will outlast me in their efforts. I would recommend a change in strategy....unite and fund the research on your own through various autism organizations and go on the Internet and websites asking politicians to cut the funding of the likes of the NIH, CDC, IACC, etc. (and explain why to the public and politicians that these agencies don't care about kids with autism).
To do otherwise is a waste of time and money.
Those four years contributed to this.....

Parsippany family's struggle with autism a common challenge
A nice family trip turned into a violent nightmare when Ray and Helen Gallup of Parsippany took their son Eric out for a train ride last month.
Eric, 24, has autism and lives in a Delaware center for people with behavior problems. He is 6-foot-2 and weighs about 210 pounds. During the ride, he began banging his head into his mother's, tore out a clump of her hair and bit his father's arm and thumb. The thumb needed seven stitches and the thumbnail was torn off.
"Here was my own son and he had clamped down on my thumb," said Ray Gallup, a Lake Hiawatha resident who has been an autism activist for nearly two decades. "It felt like he was going to keep crunching down on my finger until it came
off."
People who work in the field say a majority of people with autism spectrum disorders have behavioral challenges. Most do not get as aggressive as Eric did.
With the number of children diagnosed with autism growing each year, Gallup and other advocates say, increasing services for autistic adults with a wide variety of needs and abilities is necessary.
"Are there enough services for adults in New Jersey? No," said Linda Meyer, executive director of Autism New Jersey.
It's unclear how many adults today live with autism. The federal Social Security Administration said nearly 23,000 adults with autism received Social Security benefits last year, a 150 percent increase over five years. In New Jersey, the state
Division of Developmental Disabilities estimates nearly a quarter of 40,000 people it serves have autism as at least one of their diagnoses.
Eric Gallup has lived at the AdvoServ facility in Bear, Del., since August 2004. His parents say his aggressive behavior started to escalate in 2002. They said he had to leave the special school he was attending and then was at home all day.
His aggression soon became unmanageable and his parents sometimes locked themselves in a room to protect themselves.
"Between 2002 and 2004, it was like we were constantly calling the police," said Ray Gallup, who is 65. "You didn't know what would happen from day to day. I don't know how to describe it: He's coming at you and you're at home alone."
The Gallups got Eric into the internationally known Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, Md., but the staff couldn't help him. Eric wound up in the psychiatric unit at St. Clare's Hospital and then Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital.
Neither was the proper place for him, according to his parents. A lawyer helped them get Eric into AdvoServ, which specializes in dealing with behaviors such as Eric's.
"It brought tears to my eyes to put him there, but there wasn't anything else I could do," Ray Gallup said.
"He requires 24-hour care," added Helen Gallup.
The Gallups had been making the two-hour drive to see their son about every other week, and his behavior had improved. He enjoys rides in the car and on the train, so on Oct. 11 they took him on a two-hour Autumn Leaf Special train ride through
Delaware's Red Clay Valley.
They were nearly back at the station when Eric used his PECS book, a special communication device, to point to a picture of a house that he uses to indicate their home in Parsippany. Helen Gallup shook her head and told him they couldn't take him home.
"He banged his head into the side of the train, then he started butting my head," she said. "He had a chunk of my hair in his mouth."
Helen Gallup managed to give him medication designed to calm him down but it takes time to work. Some passengers helped them to restrain Eric. Someone called police, who arrived and handcuffed Eric over the couple's objections. Eventually, police removed the handcuffs and an AdvoServ staffer came and brought Eric back to the center.
"As bad as it was for us, I can't imagine what it was like for him," Helen Gallup said, noting there is no way for her son to say what he needs or what he is feeling.
The Gallups are also concerned that this is a major setback after what they had hoped was real improvement that might have allowed them to bring Eric home soon, or at least closer to home.
Instead, AdvoServ has advised then to have their next few visits with their son on site with staff present, for safety. They have not yet been back to visit him.
"What if we drive five hours and he has a tantrum after 10 minutes?" said Helen Gallup. "It's bad enough we can't even bring him home for the holidays or his birthday. Now what if we can't even see him?"
Experts say that aggression, though generally without malice, is common among autistic children because they have difficulty expressing themselves.
"Aggressive behavior in autistic adults is most likely at the same prevalence as in a young child," said Stephen Shore, assistant professor of education at Adelphi University in New York. "It's more noticeable in adults because they are
bigger and scarier. ... Those on the autism spectrum who are not taught reliable means of communication often have to resort to challenging behaviors to communicate, which is troublesome on many levels."
There's been little research with autistic adults because the diagnosis of autism is fairly recent. New Jersey only began recognizing autism as a disability for school children in 1995.
In December 2007, the most recent year for which statistics were available, the state Department of Education counted 8,800 students with autism. Nationally, more than 250,000 students with autism were in schools in 2006-07, more than a 600 percent increase over a decade, according to the National Center for Education Statistics.
And a 2007 National Survey of Child Health estimated that more than 680,000 children aged 2 to 17 have some form of autism — a rate of 1 out of every 91 children.
Last month, the state Adults with Autism Task Force released a report with dozens of recommendations for improving the lives of people with autism. It called for a host of additional services, among other things. Shortly after receiving the
document, Gov. Jon Corzine created a state Office of Autism Services.
The report also recommended expanding newly required training in dealing with autism and other disabilities beyond police and firefighters to emergency room staff, state transportation workers and lawyers and judges; giving the Division of
Developmental Disabilities automatic budget increases each year to help pay for the transition from school to adult life; using federal funds to increase training and capacity at independent living centers; and creating grant programs to provide
more and better housing opportunities.
"Children of autism become adults with autism," Shore said. "Most resources are devoted to early intervention and education. But these children grow up and still need services and support."
Pam Ronan, a spokeswoman for the Division of Developmental Disabilities, said the state is working to provide more services for people with all types of disabilities. The state has been working to bring more people, such as Eric, who may be living
out of state back into New Jersey, and to move people out of its seven developmental centers and into group homes or other community placements. The recent fiscal crisis has made that difficult.
Helen Gallup said the family would love to have Eric living closer, but doesn't think there's any place in New Jersey right now that could help him.
"To bring him back and put him in a group home, if it's a place that can't handle him, what do we do, bring him home? Taking him home might make matters worse," she said.

More cover their arses.. Kinda' really sad,
Verstraeten watered his findings until the
accumulated amount mercury in kids

supposedly insignificant i.e., if a child's

Verstraeten sold his soul to the Devil.
I really have so much that I’d like to post
that I’m overwhelmed But I’ll post what
I think is a very telling remark that appeared in the minutes
of the Secret SimpsonWood Review Mtg Jun 00.
MUST READ DR JOHNSON”S COMMENT
STARTING ON PAGE 198 and ENDING ON PAGE 200 This part of Dr Johnson’s statement says it all
My gut feeling? It worries me enough. Forgive this personal comment, but I got called out a eight o’clock for an emergency call and my daughter-in-law delivered a son by C-Section. Our first male in the line of the next generation, and I do not want that grandson to get a Thimerosal containing vaccine until we know better what is going on. It will probably take a long time. In the meantime, and I know there are probably implications for this internationally, but in the meantime I think I want that grandson to only be given Thimerosal-free vaccines.
The full 200 or 300 pages of the minutes was posted on line, how ever it was taken down. I had saved the of remarks of Dr Johnson, one of the attendees. How’s about them apples!. Not his grandson but every one elses kids will get the poison. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

JB - as always, thank you.
Now, could someone please flush Ms. Singer's face, and the kool-aid that she's drinking, down the toilet? I make no apology. She is the epitome of the origination of the "refrigerator mother" theory.
At the very least could we at least give her a swirlie? I'm sick of hearing the spew of kool-aid from her, and a little good'ole 50's style hazing might just do the trick. It's akin to the days of boys being really rowdy and knocking people's mailboxes off their posts with a baseball bat...
(Ohhhh, alright, I do apologize for my snark taking over momentarily)
Thanks again, JB for telling it straight.

Remember too that the original Verstraeten 1999 study showed a significant association between total thimerosal exposure in the first six months of life and subsequent neurological disease (including autism). This finding was overturned by statistical legerdemain, namely, adding large numbers of two year olds to the studied cohort (too young for an autism diagnosis) and using health records from an HMO that had been closed down for (among other things) poor record keeping. Figures don't lie but sometimes liars figure!

My feeling is as more and more people's kids, grandkids, and sibblings get diagnosed it is inevitable that some of these people will be in fields like research, media, and medicine. They will beat this sorry drum every day, as we do, and the lies will begin to crack. These people will not be deterred by threats to career because they will find uncovering the truth more important.

JB - You are amazing (as always). In your copious free time :), please update 14studies with these two (and whatever else is on the way - I can't wait):
“A research team led by scientists from the University of Pittsburgh and Thoughtful House reported today that exposure to a birth dose of a hepatitis B vaccine that included an ethyl mercury preservative caused significant delays in the development of several survival reflexes in male rhesus macaque monkeys. The findings were published on line today in the journal Neurotoxicology.[You can purchase the article from Science Direct (HERE).”

It is nice to have all of our studies in one place (a quick link away from all the emails that our army writes to new mothers).
Thank you JB, thank you for everything.

Its time to act now before its too late!
I predict that eventually a group will infiltrate the IACC, CDC, AAP, AMA and FDA. Through these insiders they will gather the information needed to uncover the lies they have been telling for years.
However, more than likely any true hard copy evidence has already been destroyed. Its only a matter of time before they start screening new applicants for Autistic family members or affiliations to any Autism Groups that are portrayed as Anti-Vaccinists.
The Corporations rule the world and they don't think like we do. Their main objective is to make money. They don't care about us or our children. If you don't believe me look it up for yourself! The USA is changing and changing rapidly. JB cannot do this alone. We need to do our part even if its just telling our neighbor the truth about vaccines.
If we sit back and do nothing then Autism will eventually become the norm. Then soon you will see a huge market for Autism such as drugs, food, books, TV, playgrounds, Schools, stores, restaurants, and eventually small cities. Yes, cities and we will think its a blessing but they will be run by the same corporations that did this to our children.
Don't be fooled by their lies because eventually if you tell a lie long enough people will start to believe it.

Thanks, JB. I read a treatise on maintaining mental health-- something about cognitive disonance and GIGO; garbage in/garbage out. As the theory goes, if you (general "you") passively allow your brain to absorb garbage information without prying it back out of your psyche for inspection and logically countering it if false, what tends to come out of you and rule you is garbage emotions.
In that case, the service you're doing for the vaccine injury community's collective mental stability is indispensible. Garbage be gone.

As a mom of a vaccine injured non verbal 7 yr. old autistic child whose demise began immediatly after the pneumococcal and varicella "well visit" appt. (they were OUT of the scheduled MMR that day, oh lucky me!) this claim continues to infuriate me every time I see it plastered in the media.
Strep titers ten times the reference range over the past six years since that fateful day, and three years of chicken pox like break outs on his trunk... hmmm... what happened?

Thank you for spelling out the cover-up for us JB. And I put the official lies you describe right up there with the REALLY BIG LIE ABOUT AUTISM: That there's been no real increase--it's all just better diagnosing and an expanded spectrum.
That's the lie that will expose all the others because these kids are not going away and eventually they'll bankrupt us.
Offit and Singer will have lots of explaining to do when the biggest economic issue in this country isn't the retiring post WWII generation---IT'S THE AUTISM GENERATION. That's the one that will demand endless billions for support and care for the rest of their long lives.
Good luck ASF and IACC lying your way out of that.

Thank you JB. This is going on my FB page and blog. The one thing missing...the argument for what a lie it is that the science proves thimerosal and MMR don't cause autism.
The lies are just as rampant around this claim. One could write a dissertation on the lies surrounding the studies they do have let alone the studies that haven't even been done.
Posted by: Pamela | November 17, 2009 at 08:52 AM
The fundamental here, of course, is the bureaucratic view of evidence - once the studies are published they ignore all criticism and continue to cite them. There is nothing negotiable so it doesn't matter that they are in fact garbage. The officials and placemen just walk away.
I am actually surprised that the IACC did not make more concessions in order that they could string everyone along for another 5 years. Anyhow, it is a good opportunity having tried to hold them to account for two years to pronounce them thoroughly irrelevant and corrupt - and take the battle somewhere else.

JB, Dr. Tenpenny is correct. If the average medical practitioner sincerely questions vaccines, it will force them to re-think their entire paradigm. The useless, toxic, potentially deadly protocols used in almost every medical intervention would shine like a beacon if they weren't so rigidly supported in lock-step.
Ms. Singer has no idea that she's being used by the most corrupt industry on earth, contributing to the most deadly and debilitating epidemic ever seen in (now) multi-generational, worldwide proportions. This isn't a new game--it's just been exponentially intensified. The medical/industrial complex has upped the ante by striking the most vulnerable among us. They sorely need someone like Ms. Singer, who's naive and easily frightened by greedy whitecoats to do their bidding. The fault isn't hers alone--it belongs to an entire nation of somnambulistic consumers who are still not ready to trust themselves. And even if she's still alive when the truth surfaces (and it will), she can continue to justify her shameless ego trip with the excuse of listening to the alleged authorities. I hope she enjoys spending the money they give her for checking her brain at the door.

In 1990 the UK introduced the accelerated DPT schedule (with 75 micrograms of organic mercury) bringing forward vaccination from 3, 5 and 10 months to 2,3 and 4 months. Time trend studies conducted by the responsible UK health officials - including notoriously Elizabeth Miller and Brent Taylor in N London for MMR showed that the autism rate more than doubled between the birth cohorts of 1989 and 1991. They failed to note the introduction of the accelerated DPT as a confounder in their series of MMR studies, and they failed to mention this effect in the separate DPT study they conducted concurrently. They also did not provide any explanation of these oversights when they were pointed out.
Additionally in their DPT Thimerosal study (Andrews et al) - which was part of the IOM review - they made the untruthful claim that mercury exposure on the WHO schedule was equivalent to that on the UK schedule of the period when it was nearly 4 times greater by 14 weeks. This enabled the WHO to pass its schedule as safe.
