Ray Salomone Offers Summer Strength Workout

Ray head shot Happy Memorial Day. The start of summer means soon we'll be chasing kids who are off from school. Here's a new workout from Ray Salomone of GrecoRomanWellness in New York.

 LOWER BODY BURNER for strong and toned legs and buns

This less-than 10 minute workout, done only twice a week, will give you stronger legs and tighter buns. Beware of the first and second time soreness.
True Warriors and Goddesses push through this!

WARM UP
10 jumping jacks
3 squats
10 jumping jacks
3 squats
20 jumping jacks.

The heart is beating now and breathing is heavier
Drink some water and push forward.

Ray new squat IN-PLACE LUNGES
Take a long lunge stride, making sure front knee is ONLY at 90 degrees.
Lower yourself so that back knee is just above ground.
Repeat 5 times before switching legs

Do this move 2 times

STEP OUT LUNGES
Standing tall, step forward into a long lunge.
Push off and back into standing position
Repeat 5 times and then switch

Do this move 2 times

20 JUMPING JACKS (just to rev up the heart rate again)

STEP BACK LUNGES
Standing tall again, step back into a long lunge.
Aggressively push off back leg to standing position.
Repeat 5 times and switch

Do this 2 times

HALF LUNGES IN-PLACE
Take a long lunge stance, lower so back knee almost touches ground.
STAY IN PLACE FOR ENTIRE MOVEMENT
Come up only half way and repeat 30 times in a fast, rhythmic motion
(To take us back in time: FEEL THE BURN!!!!)

Hi Julie- I wish I had an easy answer for you. Sometimes its skin, other times some fat that still needs to go. You can lose the fat by doing what you're doing. If it's skin, that's another issue.

Love your workouts...I've incorporated them into my regular workout....here's a question I've been wanting to ask:

How the !#$%#@# (heck) do I get rid of my 2-kid spare tire? It's not big, but big enough to annoy me. I just can't seem to lose it. I'm eating a well-balanced all-natural, organic diet, working out for an hour every other day, but yikes....this thing won't go away. Any good workouts for this?
