Young Woman Featured in Gardasil Media Attention Passes Away.
We've learned today that Jenny Tetlock passed away on Sunday. Her neurologists cited an unusual form of childhood ALS. Others point to Gardasil. Our sincere condolences to her family whose blog is HERE. Below is a post we ran last July.
By Kim Stagliano
This article on the paralysis of Miss Jenny Tetlock, perhaps from her Gardasil vaccination, is from US News and World Report, a bastion of mainstream, conservative reporting.
Note that her father is a professor at a top university. We wish the Tetlock family, especially young Jenny, well. We wrote about her tragic situation HERE. Did blogs help move this story along? We hope so.
About a month after being vaccinated against the cervical cancer-causing HPV virus, 13-year-old Jenny Tetlock missed the lowest hurdle in gym class, the first hint of the degenerative muscle disease that, 15 months later, has left the previously healthy teenager nearly completely paralyzed. Did the vaccine, Gardasil, cause her condition? Her father, Philip Tetlock, a psychology professor at UC-Berkeley's Haas School of Business, has embarked on an odyssey to find out whether the vaccine or random coincidence is to blame.

Kim Stagliano is Managing Editor of Age of Autism. (And back online!)
My heart goes out to her family. As the mother of a 15 year old daughter with autism and a normal 27 year old daughter, I have vaccine concerns. When her doctor tried to give my autistic(not aspergers) daughter the Gardisil I said NO. She had problems with vaccines when she was 12 (and in her early years) and it took a year to get her back to the point where she was at 12. I think it is possible that there is something besides the thimerasol, which supposedly has been removed, that may be a problem in some kids. Maybe there is a predisposition. I don't know, but she will not be getting this vaccine. My older daughter chose on her own to get it and so far is ok.

Jenny's story is truly heartbreaking. The demand for the vaccine is decreasing as parents become more educated about the adverse effects. How can we stop this Gardasil death train ? What kind world do we live in? How can Merck get away with this? Polysorbate 80 and L-histidine takes all the chemicals with the viral particles
through the blood brain barrier, deep inside to the central nervous system.2009 now and
they knowingly inject NEUROTOXINS into the girls.Stop Merck, stop Gardasil, stop these
liars,stop these Criminals.

Karen, I am so sorry to hear what has happened to your daughter. Have the doctors looked at Gardasil and made a report to the VAERS? Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System.
I'll pray for your girl.

My daughter was also injured from gardasil. The side effects are horrific.
1. fever vomiting could not get out of bed for over 2 weeks. She was given the gardasil vaccine with the flu vaccine. The doctor said she must have got a bad batch of flu vaccines.
2. Two weeks later developes periphreal neurapathy in her left foot. (However the diagnosis came much later. They had to rule out mortons neuroma, plantar fascitis. etc. Whoever heard of a 15 year old with periphreal neurapathy.....?
3. Migrain headaches daily
4. Fainting all the time still.(her third shot was in June...When I finally linked it to the gardasil...Her arm became paralized after the injection.
5. gastritis
6. sleep apnea
7. sinusitis
8. fungal infections
9. loss of periphreal vision one eye
10. fatigue....sleeps all the time.(during the day.
11. insomia....Can't sleep at night
12. diabetes....she was hypoglycemic due to polycystic ovary syndrome. which was being managed nicely.
13. Did not have but one menstrual in 18 months.
14. tingling throughout body.
15. pins and needle sensations in stomach.
16. Bloody stools
17. abnormal blood pressure(reason for fainting).
I could continue all day. But the CDC and FDA need to get the message. Pull Gardasil now before anyone else is maimed or killed. I noticed Jenny dies 15 months after her vaccine. I hope my daughter makes it.

R.I.P. Jenny. And Laura P - I am so sorry for you and your daughter. I am a new parent and I know how much love you have. All we want to do is protect.
What gets me the most fired-up about Gardasil is that the CDC, Merck and others are not coming right out and saying -- this vaccine ONLY protects against 4 strains of HPV, AND HPV is ONLY transmitted sexually. WHY then are pediatricians (at the behest of the CDC) pushing this vaccine for 9-year-olds?
I HATE the Gardasil commercials. They NEVER mention the truly frightening side effects.
Jenny is not the first to die from Gardasil (I've read the Adverse Effects Reports) and she won't be the last. It's sickening.

I am just nauseas with emotions after hearing of Jenny’s death. She got sick right about the time Jesalee did. It is so scary to think that even after over 2 years my child’s life may still be in danger. How many children are we going to allow to die before someone steps in and does something about the gardasil vaccine. If it were a mass murderer or rapist doing this to out children, the FBI and OSBI and every law enforcement in the world would be working to stop the killing, but its not it is our own government who is taking the life and well being from our children. Not adults, children, how heinous is this? Our children are our future and we abuse them as if they are some renewable resource. I have one child who I have tried to raise and protect from all danger and an unseen silent killer authorized by our government has tried to take her. She will never be the same and I pray that she will live, at least I still have her, that is more than Jenny’s family can say. Someone has to step in and protect our children, they are not volunteers to try out new and unproven drugs on, I was not asked at the time of the vaccine if I volunteered my child’s life for science, and yet they took it anyway, and it needs to stop.

How sad. To Jenny's family, I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful little girl. I am e-mailing a link to your blog with some gardasil info so that my friends and family know of the possible risks with this vaccine.

There is a high school acquaintance of mine that is a survivor of cervical cancer. she hired a publicist to go on the road and meet everyone involved with this vaccine and promote it. It is killing me. I have BEGGED her to become an advocate for more research and a SAFE vaccine (I know there isn't one, but I'm hoping she'll see this)...it is a powerful machine she has behind her with the doctors and politicians. She's mellowed on the issue, but still does not (want to) get it.
My sympathies to this family. They call us anti-vaccine. We are just the ones who did it and deal with the consequences.

So, so, very sad. Has the CDC or NIH even deigned to investigate Jenny's medical condition, or any of the other girls' who've become inexplicably paralyzed or hit with autoimmune disorders following Gardasil?

My deepest condolences go out to Jenny's family. What a sad reminder of why we keep fighting.
May peace be with the Tetlock family.
