FEEL LIKE PEEKING INTO THE CDC?

PeekThere's an unofficial blog for employees of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) You can peek at it HERE.  We pulled one comment to get you started.

I have worked for CDC for awhile and know that CDC routinely distorts the truth. I believe the common phraseology is "there is no evidence that..." CDC hides emails and internal information exchanges from the public even though FOIA'd.
CDC also wags the dog routinely if a negative story is about to hit, then all of a sudden you see an urgent CDC press release.

When Oprah did the show on Autism a few months back, she said that CDC was invited to participate but declined. I wonder why? I posted that here along with some things that Jenny McCarthy said on the show and my comments were completely lambasted and Jenny attacked. I would say that that extreme level of defensiveness and animosity shows guilt and it goes to the highest levels. Youtube.com has her interview and she is quite credible.

Does any employee trust what CDC says anymore? I don't. I have noticed over the past 10 years the low level of ethics and integrity in our managers. Sometimes these managers are put in those positions just because of their extremely low levels of integrity/ethics. I mean, come on, if you had no integrity, would you want people who report to you to have it?

Over 5,000 years ago, a very wise king said 'If a ruler listens to lies, all his officials become wicked". It would seem that this is all that is left at the top at this agency - corrupted liars
